Lucky you hadn't removed it from your registration post yet, as you have it recorded as a female. For future reference, you're better off linking to your pickup/trade/capture post (wherever you received it), rather than registration as this should also supply the gender of the Pokémon you're dropping off.

Do my eyes deceive me? Is there a female Torchic up for grabs? And nobody's in line for one for requests? Is there some sort of catch? I'm ... in utter disbelief.

I'd like to spend 3 Rare Candies to adopt the Level 1 female Torchic, please. Possibly the cutest starter ever.

Edit at 5:20am GMT: I just realized, if there's a new rule requiring Pokeballs for Egg Hatching, I should ask if there is one for adoption, too. If there is such a need, then (lucky for me) I still have 1 PokéBall left even without today's earlier purchase of 6 PokéBalls. Here it is, if necessary.
