Thanks. Though I do admit that sometimes I can have ideas that are a little... out there. Just look at the movesets of some of my older Pokémon, my Qwilfish in particular. I think I'm also the reason there was a rule change in the Move Tutor's years back, putting tighter restrictions on what Advanced Moves could be taught to, when I tried to teach Blast Burn to my Vileplume, who was still an Oddish at the time.

Yeah, that's true. I like my Pokémon to stand out from the rest in some way, whether by recoloring them or trying to teach them moves they can't normally get, or giving them personalities you wouldn't expect from their species.

Oh, wow, I'd never noticed that Sneasel had weirdly colored sprites in G/S. Apparently the Japanese versions also had different sprites, though I'm having a hard time spotting the difference between the two.

The Sugimori art was always blackish and red; the G/S colors were a spriting error, so they were just pulling the design in line with the official artwork when they changed it in Crystal.

Yeah UPN was acting up, it went fully down for awhile but now its back. Environmental Biology sounds tough, I couldn't even pass high school bio. I also love birds, they're my tiny babs.

Eh. I was a zoology major for a while, but I changed it to biology w/ specialization in ecology and environmental biology in order to avoid having to take cell biology. Cell bio is one of the degree killers at my university, and after a semester of genetics in which we had four different instructors, I was about 300% done.

@kawaiiconcept: Wouldn't 'concept of cute' be kawaii no concept? I think you need the 'no' modifier to render a word into the genitive case.

Example: 'kaze no stigma' is 'stigma of the wind' and 'ushi no tane' is 'seed of [the] cow'.

I think 'kawaii concept' would be '[a] cute concept'...but I don't actually speak Japanese, so I might be wrong.

Having looked at your backstory, you may want to start at one of the water zones like Whale Island or Cascadia so you can say that you were washed ashore there.

Hmm... that isn't a bad idea, though I'm not 100% sure I want to start my adventure fresh off the boat, so to speak. I think my initial plan was to start out the 'story' a couple weeks after having washed up, but... I don't know. I didn't even really consider starting from Day 1.

Still, it might prove to be interesting. I'd really like to start in the Arcane Realm as I'd like to get a head start on becoming ZA qualified... perhaps we might wash ashore on the Ocean of Mystery?

Well, I actually lost access to an old blog of mine that used a preferred username of mine. After that I wanted like a referencial username, so I did "Narukami" from P4, but obviously that was taken so Naruxami was born.

I really dislike it, I'll probably use a flower username if I'm ever able to change.
