Hydreigon Pokemon Video Game Championship 2015 "VGC" Thread!

This (may) be the thread to post all of your VGC related content in, please abide by the following rules:

1. Follow ALL of UPN's rules.
2. Please put any explanations of battles in spoiler tags.
3. Criticism and feedback is encouraged but try to not be too hard on someone for the plays they made/team they used.

AND for those who may be like Quagsire and are Unaware of what the VGC is, a simple explanation is below:

The VGC is a series held every year where players of all ages attempt to make their way to Worlds in order to be crowned a World Champion, there are multiple paths such as Premier Challenges, Nationals and occasionally last chance qualifiers.

Now, for my first battle review (Battle Spot Practice):

(Battle Code = SVLW-WWWW-WWXH-B6UM)

Spoiler: show
My team = Cress/Amoonguss/Sylveon/Crawdaunt
Opponent's team = Clefable/Rotom-W/Mega-Kangaskhan/Garchomp

Turn 1: First, I switch out Amoonguss for Sylveon as it's better in the lead matchup which is followed up by my opponent's Rotom-W landing a Will-O-Wisp on Cresselia (Which has no real effect on the battle), Clefable then Minimizes to get to +2 Evasiveness

(My thoughts: Clefable will be a pain, Rotom-W isn't even a worry.)

Turn 2: Rotom-W protects itself from the incoming Pixilate Hyper Voice Spam, my Sylveon does hit Clefable through the Evasiveness though Cress misses and Clef gets to +4.

(My thoughts: WELP, gonna be impossible now..)

Turn 3: Sylveon Hyper Voices hitting both Pokémon and knocking Clefable out (YES!), Rotom's Sitrus activates and it gets a T-bolt on my Sylveon, Cress the Psyshocks Rotom bringing to almost no health. Kang comes out.

(My thoughts: Now, this will be interesting...)

Turn 4: Double Protect from the opponent happens...

(My thoughts: One less TR turn...)

Turn 5: Sylveon knocks out Rotom and brings Kang to low health coupled with Cress's Psyshock. Sylveon dies from Kang's Return and 'Chomp comes out as well as my Amoonguss.

(My thoughts: Yay, probable victory.)

Turn 6: Kang Protects, Amoonguss Rage Powders, 'Chomp Swords Dances and Cress gets and Ice Beam off on 'Chomp nearly KO'ing.

(My thoughts: Done.)

Turn 7: Rage Powder + Rocky Helmet knocks both 'Chomp and Kang out.

As for soon, try one happened yesterday. The rest of them are fairly soon though.

This is meant to be a general VGC thread. ._.

As for Regionals popping up soon, I still have a while 'til the Victoria, Australia one. I don't even know if its been announced yet. :/

I don't want to spoil it for you, so I'll just say: a move not usually seen in higher-level play shows up here.

I have to say, Doubles brings out some strange moves, since being able to hit two targets really ups the opportunity cost for moves like single stage stat droppers and whatnot. Being able to safely make a kill vs. a risky damage-roll kill is super valuable.
