Yanmega UPN PASBL: Stu vs. Joshua

Koi: And helscome to the Magical Forest! Today, we're having a particularly magical (and overly long) battle between Stu, the buggiest and disco-y-est GL around, and Joshua, the former Flying, hopeful Water GL.

Koi: Here's the arena description that I whipped up in a second.

Magical Forest (Outdoor Custom Arena) - It is a forest with sparkly trees and fairies and some Butterfree and Beautifly. There are also ponds in a few clearings every once in a while.

Quark: HERE ARE THE STATS:
6 ON 6
MAGICAL FOREST ARENA
72 HOUR DQ
SLAPSTICK
EQUILEVEL
SWITCH = KO

Koi: WHY ARE WE YELLING.

Quark: BECAUSE THE STATS ARE IN ALL CAPS.

Koi: OH. WELL. I THINK THAT'S ALL I NEED TO SAY. SO.

Koi: RIRISU!

Yanmega

Ok Josh, we have one win against each other and a draw. This is the tiebreaker *nod*. Good luck, it'll be a good one. And Jeri thanks for picking this up dude. I know how much 6 on 6s suck :x But its for the pure epicness really.

Stu: Team, front and centre? Yeah! We gotta win win win! Right Pokmon Number 1, Torky!
Torky: Calm down Stu, you have't been out of ASB that long.
Stu: But I'm just really pumped! Nothing wrong with that!

Torky: Male Torkoal – Level Three
Bio: Torky has been Stu’s starter since the beginning of time. They’ve been through everything together, from the dramatic life or death situations like when Stu had a bad hair day or the time he broke a nail to the more fun times when they would battle and train for hours so they could compete in the next Pokemon Contest. The two met when Stu was living in Lavaridge Town and when he wasn’t too keen on Pokemon. One day he was walking and found a Torkoal injured in the road, at first he began to walk by but after hearing the cute tortoise’s cries of pain he couldn’t help but try to help the Pokemon out. However, had he no idea what to do since he never really got to know about Pokemon in anyway. Then he began to panic until he saw a near by bush with some Oran Berries hanging from a few of the small branches, he picked these berries and fed them to him hoping they would help the poor Torkoal. After a few minutes the Torkoal stood up and seemed a bit better, making Stu feel very relieved. Stu then waved goodbye and began to walk away, the Torkoal then let out a “Torrr…” which made Stu stop in his tracks and turn around. He stared at the Torkoal for a few seconds and the Torkoal just stared back, he knew at this second that the Torkoal would never leave his side and that maybe he should give Pokemon a chance. Stu then took the Torkoal home and he was more than just a pet, he was Stu’s partner and more importantly his best friend. They’d do everything together: eat, sleep, read you name it and one day Stu was given a Pokeball because his parents believed that Stu was finally mature enough to own a Pokemon and travel. And who was a better starter for Stu than his best friend Torkoal. Stu then captured Torkoal and named him Torky, even he is not sure why but he knew it was a very fitting name. Torky is basically the leader of Stu’s Team and will defend any of them when his team mates need him. However, Torkoal’s have always been ridiculed for their lack of speed and thus are not able to learn the attack Flare Blitz. Stu always considered this unfair and he and Torky aimed to prove that a Torkoal can be fast and aimed to master the attack Flare Blitz. For the next couple of months Stu and Torky constantly practised Flare Blitz. Torky would first run and as he was running he would make flames appear around his entire body, but then the flames would just vanish before he managed to tackle Stu. The duo then decided to head to a Volcano to train with other fire types, preferably faster ones and as a special bonding experience between trainer and starter Stu left all his other Pokemon in storage until they returned. While training Stu then spotted a Rapidash nearby, he ordered Torky to use Flamethrower to get their attention so Torky sent a beam of intense flames directly at it. The Rapidash then abruptly turned around looking very ****** off and then it just stood there staring at Stu and Torky for a second or two before beginning to charge towards the duo at a high speed. “Torky go that way!” Stu screamed as he pointed in another direction away from the path the Rapidash would run, Torky reluctantly left Stu and went towards the rocks Stu had pointed out. Stu then got cornered between some rocks as the Rapidash had stopped running and by this was blocking Stu's only way get away. Stu then began to panic as he had no idea what to do at this point, the Rapidash then began to charge into Stu and then started hitting him with its horn, this was it's fury attack. Stu then stood up while he was groaning in agonizing pain, he looked at the Rapidash’s face and he could tell it was still very angry at him. The Rapidash then prepared to use another attack as fire was building up in the Rapidash’s mouth, this attack could have been a Fire Blast or maybe an Overheat Stu really had no time to be sure as he crawled across the ground and began to huddle against a rock because he had no time to move anywhere else. Torky saw all this and couldn’t stand by any longer, he ran as fast as he could towards the Rapidash that was preparing its attack however as he ran magnificent flames appeared all around him. Torky then tackled right into the Rapidash knocking it over, the Rapidash then released of all the flames as it fell over sending them into the air. “Torky…Flare Blitz…you did it!” Stu shouted as he tried to hug his tortoise Pokemon but was struggling to find the strength to move. “Torrrrrrrrk!” Torky shouted as he had only just truly realised what he had achieved. After the battle with the Rapidash was completed Stu was hospitalised for a while to recover from his internal injuries, after his release he and Torky decided to celebrate so they invited all their team mates and ate a wonderful cake made by Mr. Desserts that was in the shape of a Torkoal. Whenever Torky uses Flare Blitz Stu and Torky are instantly reminded of Torky’s strength and courage that he displayed that day atop the Volcano. Torky occasionally struggles with Flare Blitz, though Stu believes that he can do it perfectly most of the time. But after learning Flare Blitz Torky and Stu were separated for a long time though, since Stu was travelling around a region named Fizzy Bubbles and he then moved to the region of ASB instead but Torky was unable to move with him and was held hostage for a long time. Torky then escaped captivity and begin to travel the world to try and find his trainer, he travelled from mountains to oceans to forests to cities but alas he was stuck in FB. However one day, Stu got on a boat and travelled across the rigorous ocean to find him but his boat was destroyed and he washed up onto a beach. He walked across the beach finding Krabby and Corsola but he had no idea where to search for Torky, he then fell to his knees in the sand and tears began to fall from his eyes. “Torky…Torky…” he mumbled trying to wipe the tears away but remaining unsuccessful. Then out of nowhere Stu saw a blaze of fire come streaming across the beach towards him, it was very bright and Stu found it hard to recognise but then as the flames began to disintegrate he realised it was Torky. Torky jumped up into the air and Stu stood up and reached out his arms, the two then embraced into a hug as Stu caught Torky and was pushed back onto the sand by the tortoise’s strength. The two had not seen each other for months and they were very happy to see each other one again. They sat on the beach for hours looking at the sun set and reminiscing before Stu smiled and said “Let’s go” as they two then embarked on their journey back to ASB land looking forward to the future ahead.
Special Training – Flare Blitz (Fire): Due to months of training with Stu and all the adventures they have been through in their lives Torky can now use Flare Blitz. Though when Torky uses Flare Blitz he has the natural handicap of being slower than the average Flare Blitz user so it takes him a few seconds longer to use it (since he can’t run as fast).

Stu: Pokmon Number 2, Noggin!
Mr Desserts: Grrrr rawr!
Stu: Errr...right!

Noggin: Male Rampardos – Level Three
Bio: Noggin is very confident, when battling he’ll always charge in without giving a second thought about anything else. Stu has tried to train him to being a bit less head on, but he is finding it difficult. Stu was then setting up sign posts for Noggin to knock down using his various head related attacks when Stu realised Rampardos could not use Iron Head or Skull Bash. Simply outraged by this fact Stu then decided to train Noggin into using all the head related attacks possible. After many times training Noggin managed to get Iron Head and Skull Bash down, so he decided to try them in a match. However, even after trying so hard Noggin didn’t exactly have the attacks mastered and ended up being defeated by his foe. Since then when using these two attacks Noggin has put more concentration into these two attacks, taking them longer to be performed.
Special Training – Skull Scuffle Smash (Rock): Noggin can now use Iron Head and Skull Bash, but he has to concentrate for about a few seconds before using both of them.

Stu: Pokmon Number 3, Miss Kissie Kiss!
Miss Kissie Kiss: I wonder if I'll find the man of my dreams...
Stu: Focus seriously! This battle is really important!

Miss Kissie Kiss: Female Jynx – Level Three
Bio: Ever since she met Mr. Cuddles, Kissie Kiss has tried to kiss as much as she can just like Mr. Cuddles hugs as much as he can. During a training battle with Mr. Cuddles she ended up using a new type of kiss, which wasn't Sweet Kiss as was ordered by Stu. The kiss was Lovely Kiss, however Smoochum only seem to learn this move through evolution to a Jynx but she somehow learnt it when she was a Smoochum. Apparently due to her willingness to kiss and by pushing herself she managed to perfect this move earlier than natural. However not everything can be perfect, the Lovely Kiss isn't as powerful yet and only has a 50% of lulling the opponent into a daze. Although she loves to kiss she can only use her Lovely Kiss move twice per battle.
Special Training – Kissie is my name, and Kissing is my Game (Psychic): Kissie Kiss can now use Lovely Kiss, but it only has 50% of lulling the opponent into a daze instead of the normal 75%. It can only be used limited times in a battle (twice).

(I need to update her sig because it doesn't work now she's a Jynx oO Hahaha)

Stu: Pokmon Number 4, Miss Twinkle!
Miss Twinkle: La la la la!
Stu: That's the spirit girlie! Let's do this for ABL!

Miss Twinkle: Female Piplup – Level Three
Bio: Miss Twinkle always wanted to be a dancer ever since Stu met her. She would always dance and use attacks like Bubble to make it look pretty, Stu knew that she would be great in any Contest that she put her mind to if he just took her dancing skills and taught her a dancing attack. He tried Dragon Dance and Swords Dance but neither of those took to Miss Twinkle’s style of dancing. One night after scanning the Pokedex Stu found an attack named Teeter Dance that is a somewhat goofy dance that confuses every opponent. So the next morning they began training, Stu started performing his own Teeter Dance but he realised he wasn’t going to teach her this way. So after some travelling Stu found a Spinda and made Miss Twinkle battle it repeatedly and each time Spinda would use Teeter Dance and Miss Twinkle would memorise the move. After a while Miss Twinkle had finally gotten the move somewhat down, she could do the dance but Stu figured that they would still need to practise practise practise to get it completely down. She was named by ABL after Stu wanted some suggestions, as soon as he heard ‘Miss Twinkle’ he knew this name would stick with her forever.
Special Training – The Dance of Adorable Penguins (Normal): Due to her wild love of dancing and all things dance Miss Twinkle can now use Teeter Dance. This Teeter Dance can only be used twice per battle.

Stu: Pokmon Number 5, Aipom Pom!
Aipom Pom: 1, 2 ,3, 4! This match is to settle a score! Go Stu, Go Stu!
Stu: Go Stu, Go Stu!
Torky: Ahem...
Stu: What? Its catchy!

Aipom Pom: Female Aipom – Level Three
Bio: Aipom Pom is very avid cheerleader, so she prefers supporting her team mates rather than directly fighting however if required she will fight. Stu found her while trekking through the jungle one day and getting into a battle with a random Mankey, but during the battle he constantly found the Mankey being pumped up by the Aipom cheering it on. He figured this was Helping Hand. Stu instantly thought that a Pokemon being able to help his team would be better than a Mankey so instead he battled the Aipom, eventually captured her. Stu watched her use Helping Hand again and again, but Aipom cannot use this attack normally so he wasn’t sure how it was possible. Aipom Pom though has tried updating her cheer routine but wasn’t sure how, so Stu recommended she uses the attack Swift. So Aipom Pom starts by using her Helping Hand attack and while encouraging her partner she will spin and release swift stars around her, which will then spread across the arena.
Signature Move – The Razzle Dazzle Cheer Routine (Normal): Basically Aipom Pom uses Helping Hand, but since she cannot use it naturally it just takes more concentration to do so, and then creates Swift Stars around herself which also requires more concentration since Swift usually come out in a straight line. Then Swift stars will then spread across the entire field and can hit any Pokemon or any thing (including herself and partner). The entire routine requires major concentration and being interrupted at any point can ruin the routine and stop it in its tracks and the entire routine takes the combine energy of Helping Hand and Swift plus 5% extra (So Helping Hand + Swift = Energy + 5% of that number = Total Energy Usage). When used it counts as two moves and can only be used once per battle.

Stu: Last Pokmon, Number 6, YANNMMAAM!!!!
YANNMMAAM!!!!: Yannnnnnnnn!
Stu: Whoop whoop!

YANNMMAAM!!!!: Male Yanmega – Level Four
Bio: YANNMMAAM!!!! is a special Yanmega and a previously popular topic of discussion between Stu and Gary, involving a shipping with 'Generic Sunkern'. Not much is known about his history or where exactly he came from. Personality wise he is a very loud Yanmega, often too loud, breaking glass and such with his high-pitched attacks. After sucessfully capturing the awesome Yanmega (as a Yanma) in a forest Stu decided to put his loudness to good use, in battle and by developing him a special move that could satisfy his loud needs.
Special Attack – Blaring Bug Bomb (Bug): Yanmega starts off by charging Bug-energy into a sphere about the size of an Energy Ball between his wings. He then fires it at the opponent and it will explode when it makes contact with anything. When it makes contact it releases all the Bug energy, inflicting Bug damage, but also a high pitched sound similiar to a Supersonic or Hyper voice. However, only whatever is hit by the attack can hear this sound. So if the sphere hits the opponent only they can hear this sound, but if the sphere is reflected back at Yanmega only he'll hear the sound. If it explodes onto an object, neither Pokemon will hear the sound. The sound itself can basically distract and cause ear discomfort for the affected Pokemon (similiar to Screech), while the sphere is more or less a Bug-typed Energy Ball. The attack overally costs the combined energy of an Energy Ball and a Supersonic. Stu decided to name this attack 'Blaring Bug Bomb' due to its loud sound, its bug energy and its bomb like exploding quality. Yanma can only use this twice per battle.

(Note: Its hard picking a team to cover many types as possible xd There are so many other Pokmon I wanted to use but obviously only six places! Stupid team limitations and matches where you have to use every Pokmon on the team...)

O.O Jesus Christ Stu, I'd forgotten bout Torky and his bio/sig... LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT THING!!!

An all-out brawl, a six on six with everything we have... How much fun will this be? It's been too long since we fought Stu, and I owe you a beating for taking me out of the Pokebowl... Let's make this a match ASB will remember as long as it lives!

Presenting, for this match (oh what the hell, I'll do intros too)...

Firstly, one of the longest surviving members of my squad, the gorgeous dancing dame of lightning, Electra!

Electra: Level 3 Female Electabuzz
Bio: Electra is a fiery Pokemon, her temper often getting the best of her. With her temper often interfering with her thinking in battle, she sought out new ways to improve her self control, and found a bizarre hobby which seemed to help. Dancing. What’s more, she seems to have brought this habit to the battlefield…
Special Move: Samba of Storms (Electric)
Electra begins to dance to a rather fast beat, consuming as much energy as a Dragon Dance for the same affects. However, if it is raining when Electra begins her Samba of Storms, her mood will improve dramatically, and she becomes immune to the effects of Taunt until the end of the round the Samba is used in.

Second, the toxic beast of my guys, give it up for Aenir!

Aenir - Level 3 Male Zangoose
When I found Aenir, he lay dying in a poisoned swamp near a nuclear plant, barely conscious, a large open wound across his stomach. We rushed him to a Pokèmon Center, where he went into cardiac arrest. Twice. Fortunately, the nurses knew what they were doing, and with a lot of work and some painful recovery, Aenir survived, but still bears the scar across his chest, and a constant reminder of his ordeal. His fur is tinged a sickly purple, and his claws tinged a sickly green.
Special Training: Toxic Memory
Aenir is now a Normal/Poison type Pokèmon, with all the weaknesses and resistances that come with such a combination. His claws are also tipped with a weak poison, which has a 5% chance of poisoning the opponent (10% if the claws pierce skin or enter an open wound). However, he no longer can use Refresh, Mud-Slap or Dig.

Third is one of my up-levels, a telekinetic asskicker who still hasn't seen battle yet... Ares!

Ares – Level 4 Male Gallade
Like his namesake the Grecian God of War, Ares is violent by nature in battle, yet conniving and intelligent. He prides himself on his physical prowess, frequently testing himself against other fighting type Pokèmon. During these contests, however, he soon discovered his inability to use his Psychic powers for physical combat. Determined to gain the best of both words, Ares soon developed a new power…
Special Attack: Impact Burst (Psychic)
Ares pools Psychic energy into his fist, and strikes at the opponent, dealing damage equal to a Thunder Punch. Upon contact, the Psychic energy bursts forth from his fist in a compacted wave form, pushing against the body part it has come in contact with at high speeds, which can lead to anything from knocking the opponent down to breaking a limb, depending on the resistance of the opponent (referring to either the type of the Pokèmon, as in the move being useless on dark types and resisted by psychic and steel types, or the skin of the Pokèmon, ie. armour/shell reducing chance of breaking limb). Requires the energy of 1.75x a Thunderpunch.

Next, my kawaii little turtle, the unoriginal surfing dude... Titan!

Titan – Level 3 Male Wartortle
Titan is a party dude, and loves surfing the waves and spending time on the beach. Like the Squirtle Squad members, Titan is never seen without a pair of sunglasses (except in battle, they’re designer lenses and he doesn’t want to break them). He loves water, obviously, even more so than most Water types (aside from the ones who can’t live without it, obviously), and that reflects on his battle style.
Special Training: Water Water Everywhere…
When battling in an arena where water is present, Titan’s mood improves, and his special attacks become 1.1x more powerful at the cost of 1.25x more energy. But when battling in an arena without water, Titan becomes depressed, and his defence decreases slightly.

Fifth is the steely aerialist, the unforgettable... Temari!

Temari – Level 3 Female Skarmory
Temari is brutish, and blunt to the point of rude. She won’t take rubbish from anyone, and is more than willing to speak her mind, and won’t back down if she thinks she’s right. She will never back down in battle, even when it looks hopeless.
Special Attack: Summoning Blade Dance (Flying)
Temari can only use this attack if her health is average or lower. Temari slices the air with her wings, releasing two large blades of energy towards the opponent, which travel roughly at the speed of a Hidden Power. Each blade strikes for damage equal to a Hidden Power, and the entire attack takes energy equal to 1.75x a Steel Wing.

And last, but definitely not least, the dark little Sin of rage... Wrath!

Wrath – Level 3 Male Sneasel
Wrath. Obviously he’s an angry one, to have that name. He’s not a spontaneously angry Pokèmon though, more so a simmering cauldron of rage, of which he has control of. His anger gives him a twisted strength, and he dislikes using it unless necessary. Having kept his rage buried, he has access to a hidden strength…
Special Training: Deepest Wrath
Wrath has learnt to access his anger when necessary. When using moves that require charge time (Focus Punch, Shadow Ball, etc.) Wrath cuts 3 seconds off the full charge time by draining his energy equal to a Double Team. However, when Wrath’s health reaches critical, his anger erupts, and his attacks deal 1.5x normal damage at the cost of 2x their normal energy.

You were right Stu, covering as many types as possible with a six man squad is certainly a challenge... Hmm, who to begin with...

Aenir! Let's rock and roll!

Hmm Poison Zangoose, interesting. Let's just hope I'm not too rusty.

Take the stage Aipom Pom! First up give it your loudest Screech, then smash it with a Strength.

Yeah, no. Aenir, chill during the Screech, shouldn't be a problem since you won't really be concentrating on anything much. Smack it with Poison Jab as it comes in for Strength (or after the Strength, whatever works), and finish the round with Dynamicpunch!

Joshua
PS. Aipom? Caught me by surprise, you did Stu.

Round One
Koi: Well, I have no clue if we'll get anywhere close to finishing this battle, but let's see how far we can go!

Koi: Josh is the first to send out, revealing Aenir, an interestingly poisonous Zangoose. Stu counters with a Normal type of his own, Aipom Pom, a bouncy, cheerleading Aipom. Attacks are ordered, and this battle is underway!

Koi: Aipom Pom is the first to act, opening her mouth not to release a cheer, but a loud Screech. Aenir cringes, the sharp, echoing noise plaguing his ears. He tries his best to cover the sensitive aural organs, but the sound is a bit too strong. This allows Aipom Pom to bounce in, grabbing the Zangoose with all three hands. Aenir manages to recover just in time, wasting no time. Just as Aipom Pom lifts him with all her Strength, Aenir delivers a Poison Jab, causing Aipom Pom to let out an eek as she slams the Zangoose into the floor of the magical forest.

Koi: Aenir tumbles a little, getting to his feet slowly. He shakes off the light headache, lighting his fist with power. Aipom Pom doesn't entirely expect Aenir's next move, somewhat taken by surprise by the Dynamicpunch. The Zangoose swings a fist into the gut of the tiny monkey, who goes tumbling from the small explosion. A bit winded, she recovers a little shakily, but manages to brush herself off without much issue.

At the end of the round...

Pupurin: Aipom Pom took a good deal of damage, a good bit behind on Round One. However, she has a nice energy lead.

Pupurin: Aenir used solid energy, but took a pretty hard hit too.

Good start Aenir, let's keep her on her toes/fingers/whatever! Fire off an Ice Beam and follow up with Rock Tomb to entrap the monkey thingy!

Thanks Muyo :O You rock!

Now Aipom Pom Bounce up and out of the way of the Ice Beam, then land on him. Then get Zangoose all tangled up in a Grass Knot.

Round Two
Koi: Aenir opens his mouth, summoning an orb of icy energy. From the ball, jagged bolts of Ice Beams are shot, heading straight for Aipom Pom. She doesn't stick around, though, Bouncing skywards, effectively evading the icy assault. A nearby tree suffers the brunt of the attack in the monkey's place, causing a shell of ice to form. Regardless, Aipom lands right on his foe, doing pretty good damage from the impact and causing Aenir to fall flat on his face. Aipom Pom does a stylish back flip off her foe, and the Zangoose beings to frustratedly rise to his feet. However, before he can stand, Aipom Pom gets off her next technique, causing the Grass to Knot around the mongoose's legs and claws. It looks like there'll be no Rock Tombs this round.

At the end of the round...

Pupurin: Aipom Pom used solid energy and is beginning to pant a bit.

Pupurin: Aenir took a good hit and used pretty good energy.

Thunder right off the bat, and let's pray that the excess electricity fries up that damn grass. Either way, meet Water Pulse with a Blizzard to finish up the round!

Joshua
PS. My apologies to both of you on the delay, took me ages to work out a decent strategy to get out of this mess you put me in Stu!

Round Three
Koi: With her foe, both literally and figuratively, all tied up, Aipom Pom takes the opportunity to concoct a Nasty Plot, giving herself a firm boost to her special abilities. Just as cooks up her plans, Aenir looks a bit frustrated, but crackles violently, sending a burst of Thunder through the trees. Surely enough, the intense energy does fry the knots a bit, singing the edges just enough to allow Aenir to break free. AS he stands, the Thunder crashes down on Aipom Pom, charring the little monkey as well. Suddenly, she's locked in place; it seems she's been paralyzed!

Koi: Aenir smirks, and now having regained quite a lead, feels compelled to extend it. As Aipom Pom struggles to summon a Water Pulse, only able to form a pitiful little orb before paralysis grips her, Aenir inhales, blowing a Blizzard at the monkey. She's blown back, skidding to a stop just before a tree, and though she seems a bit more limber as she hops up, she's clearly more beaten.

At the end of the round...

Pupurin: Aipom Pom took massive amounts of damage this round, already dropping her near half. Energy use was moderate and she's not panting too hard.

Pupurin: Aenir took no damage, but used a lot of energy, panting very hard and already pushing his energy tanks into the lower parts of the first half.

So sorry Josh. Got busy with my job and going out and stuff.

Either way Pom Captivate him and make those attacks weaker. Then after smash him with a full on Double-Edge.

Round Four
Koi: Aenir starts the round by charging up some negative charge in his fur, crackling lightly... but just as he begins to fire his Shock Wave, he suddenly pauses. It seems that Aipom Pom is trying to Captivate him with a... surprisingly sexual cheer.

Quark: Aren't most cheers sexual?

Koi: I hope I don't have to point out the obvious irony in this act considering the sexuality of all three battle's participants... well, at least the two trainers and the owner of this ref.

Quark: [insert KOI'S GAY joke here]

Koi: *sockmouthquark*

Koi: IN ANY CASE... Aenir seems strangely allured by her cheer, and hesitantly fires a meager burst of electricity, only shocking the monkey for a minor hit. Aipom Pom easily shrugs it off, barely looking fazed, and wastes no time in going into her next attack. Glowing brightly, she scampers in towards Aenir, who is reluctantly charging a tiny Secret Power. Just as he fires the pitiful beam, she rams into him for a powerful blow. Aenir is sent skidding across the field, stopping just short of a tree. However, this seems to be quite a Double-Edged sword, as Aipom Pom takes some solid recoil and Aenir is clearly heartbroken.

At the end of the round...

Pupurin: Some solid energy use from Aipom Pom, but she's still not panting all too badly. The damage she took pushes her right around half.

Pupurin: Energy use was light for Aenir, but he took a hard hit. He's still a solid chunk above his foe, but the gap has closed considerably. He did manage to catch his breath a bit, though.
