I made two posts in the thread. Was surprised to see that I hadn't posted there before, and also pleasantly surprised to see that my old idea about the community jointly owning Azelf has been echoed by Marion Ette and others. First post re-echoes this idea and re-states my position on the issue, just for sake of having it in the BMG thread. Second post is a personalized set of lists where I list off legendaries by whether I think they're one of a kind to the world, debatable, or definitely exist in multiple. Your own lists will almost certainly not match mine 100%, perhaps not even 80%!, but I think it's a good discussion to get going, especially if we're going to pave the way towards allowing people to have a Groudon or a Zekrom show up in their adventure.

Would like to have made a third post, but it will have to wait until later.

I'm doing a post graduate honours specialist practice degree in district nursing. I already work as a community staff nurse and have done for 2 years (I worked in a hospital on a surgical ward for 8 years before that) but once I complete this degree I can work as a district nursing sister and run a team of my own. It runs over a year and its pretty intense, it has 7 modules each with at least one assignment. This term has been the hardest with 4 exams and assessments for 3 modules due yesterday (I'm glad to have them submitted). Just the last term to go with 1 new module and the overall portfolio to complete. I had an interview for a district nurse post on Tuesday and was successful so I have a job secured for September when I qualify ^-^

Thanks! Finally, a weight I've been carrying for the past 3 or so years has finally been lifted off my back! I've been wanting Drowzee to evolve for a long time, and now he has an awesome sidekick too! Too bad about the uh... lack of soul part.
And the Amnesia that I'm about to write into his adoption post.
Although given the events, I guess he won't mind losing a few years or so of his memories.

The evolution wasn't as big or flashy as I wanted it to be when I started but big and flashy were causing me to aim too high, ya know? And aiming too high meant I always feared hitting the ground too hard on the other side...

Pokémart/Candy Store: Deposited the usual Candy.

Daycare: Picked up Chromium, who grew to level 35, and Ariana, who grew to level 26, and dropped them both back off again.

Move Tutor: Picked up Fatale, who learned Ominous Wind. Dropped off Helena to learn Sucker Punch (normally a level 40 move, would've gotten it at level 34 under X/Y movesets).

Hey guys, popping in to tell you that it's Taillow's birthday today! So why not celebrate and get your sparrows a little gift~

Which reminds me, as far as giving those little reminders in here about Pokémon birthdays, I realize I've been coming up a little short in that regard as of late, and I feel no small amount of regret about that. I mean, yes, more often than not you see a small assortment of posts in the calendar shortly after the date rolls over, meaning a good amount of you generally don't need my little nudges in the right direction, but the long and the short of it is, some people just flat-out forget. And not just for a little while, but for the whole day. And whenever that coincides with my not making a little announcement, kinda makes me feel a tiny twinge of regret, like I could've prevented such forgetfulness with a little reminder posted in the right place. So I'm thinking I can make a little more effort to help shrink down the number of missed birthdays around here- obviously Whimsy's already got the Taillow Day announcement covered, but shortly after today, I shall try to give you all the little reminders that can mean the difference between a little something extra for your Pokémon and nothing at all. But for now, please take a little time out of this short day to celebrate your Tiny Swallow Pokémon.

Honestly MM, you don't have to feel any regret over it. I mean, they're our pokemon and we should be keeping on top of their birthdays themselves. That's the truth of the matter, and if we forget then it's on our heads, not yours. There's only so much one man can do to help us remember, and you do us a great favour by reminding us - heck, I wouldn't doubt many of us feel thankful for your nudges. But we shouldn't have to be relying on you reminding us, ya know?

This is coming from the guy who actually did forget today was Taillow's birthday and would have kept forgetting had he not went to check the calendar for his new addition's birthdays. Even though I had Taillow's birthday in my own profile, even though I talked about how Taillow's birthday was my next one after Eevee's last month. I had many of my own reminders and I never used them. If I had to rely on you to remind me even though I had my own reminders put in place that I flat out didn't use, that's not fair for you~

What I'm trying to say is... try not to feel like us missing our stuff might be your fault in any way, shape or form. You already do so much for us simply by just by reminding us, it's our fault for not picking up the slack.
If anything, we should have been helping you with the reminders. You shouldn't have to be worrying about everyone else's pokemon because they're not bothering to take a few seconds to worry themselves.

tl;dr we should be the ones who are sorry and feel regretful, and be the ones apologising to you. You shouldn't need to put in more work to remind us, we should be the ones putting in more work so you shouldn't feel the need to keep reminding us.

(sorry for the long rambly post I just resonate with the "feeling guilty for other people's actions" vibe and it's something I've been trying to work on myself)

Appreciate it, Whimsy. Yeah, it's just, I'm the one who's been taking it upon myself to post birthday reminders, and whenever anyone missing a birthday coincides with my lack of reminder, I can't help but think I could've prevented it. But yeah, you're right, I probably shouldn't feel too bad about that.
