I feel a form of dishonor to Brony-kind. I went to McDonalds with the intention of getting ponies. Then, at the last second, I pussed out and got a couple McChickens. I'm thinking of commiting seppuku.

S'ok Kusari. I'd go to McDonald's to try to get a toy, but I srsly don't like McDonald's. Their food has the same effect on me as leftover Chinese food.

Just buy the toys without the food. Maybe a drink. I've already bought 4, just missing RD, AJ, Cheerilee and Derpy lookalike.

I went to mcdonalds to ask if they had the complete set, they didn't. I told them I'd be back.

In my area, this strategy would screw you over: McDonald's only carries one to two toys tops at a time and won't order the next toys until the current batch has been exhausted. They certainly would never have all 6/7/however many toys there are in a given Happy Meal series all at once.

Most McDonalds only have 2 toys at a time, as the box comes with two. When they run out, they get a different kind.
The only way to get the complete set is if you buy the 'customer satisfaction kit' which they offer around the last week of the promotion, and they usually only have one or two. |

This full set sounds awesome.
My biggest hold up is my slight fear of being judged. I know it's just McDonald's workers but I still feel it. Same as when I buy the new Pogeymanz. |

I'd strongly advise biting the bullet and doing it, Kus. Then again I've just ordered loads of Pokémon/MLP shirts that I plan to walk around in, so yeah.
You can always say they're for your 'little sister' or something. |

Playing a children's card game with a stern expression across the table from another person who also is very focused completely changes a man. Since then, I accepted that things like Ponies, Pokemans, and Yugimans are a part of my life, and I just go with it. If you go into a store and confidently announce you want to buy ponies, people will be impressed by your confidence. The fact you're buying ponies will make it better. Any one who makes fun of, or judges you, does it because they're jealous that they are not as confident in themselves. Think about any time you've judged some one else because of anything. If some one does call you out on it, just go with it and calmly tell them you're a fan and the show is funny, etc. if you don't get offensive, or show weakness, they have nothing to go off of, and will let you go. |

I am considering just saying "Fuck it. I'll do it for the Pinkie!" and going tomorrow afternoon. >Tuner Big difference between purchasing ponies and playing in a Yugimanz tourney. When playing in a tourney, everyone around you is doing the same thing. When you're buying ponies (be it McDonalds or otherwise), you're probably going to be the only person there doing it. |

I don't disagree. The difference comes in explaining to your girlfriend/friends why you aren't available that weekend If you're committed to playing competitively, and expect to do well, it creeps into your social life pretty quickly.
All of my exes complained about my yugioh at some point xD |

Last night I had a pony related dream- Flim and Flam had returned to Ponyville upon the discovery that Fluttershy was their long lost little sister, and they were attempting to recruit her for the family business (which she wanted no part of). Also ABL was there in pony form arguing with Twilight over what Fluttershy should do (Twilight was arguing about the importance of family, ABL was arguing that Fluttershy should be free to do what she wanted).

I thought the same thing after the opening scene, I was not surprised. I was, however, disappointed.
