God's Not Dead

Has anyone here owned/watched this movie? It's a great way to get across the message that he isn't dead and will never be dead. The way that Professor Radisson (Kevin Sorbo) acts and conducts himself is really out of line, until the part where he accepts Jesus, finally. It is powerful and provocative, IMHO. You're welcome to post your own thoughts.

Except for the part where it's based on a story in which literally the opposite happened and an atheist student was persecuted by a Christian professor? Sure.

Yes, the student becomes Christian in the end. Professor Radisson embarrasses his own girlfriend at a party. I've met Mina in the movie, also, I don't think the professor had anything good to say. He was so full of anger that he couldn't see directly in front of him what was there.

I've watched that movie! Very good. The professor was a Christian in the first place but then his mother died, leaving him a letter that said to keep on following Jesus. But I guess the professor was mad at God about his mother's death and turned against him. Or am I wrong? Please correct me if I am.

Anyway yes, this movie is a great way to tell that, "God's Not Dead!"
P.S.- I'm 12 so most people think it's strange that I'm into these kinds of movies. But I really am!

Honestly the movie is such a shitthatdidn'thappen.txt that I'm surprised that the student wasn't a marine and that Professor didn't declare that he was the reincarnation of Albert Einstein.

I just read the film's summary on wikipedia. Lmao, it's actually based directly off a Chick Track. Really, "Why do you hate God?" Shit, I'm pretty sure Dolores Umbridge doesn't exist, but I hate her with a burning passion all the same. 16% on metacritic as well as RottenTomatoes should tell you all you need to know.

The Bible mentions God-haters somewhere. Also, salty atheists FTW!

Most people aren't Christians. Anyways, you are 100% correct. Also, people may think you're strange. However, God doesn't.

Then how come it says on the movie's pamphlet: "JOSH'S CHARACTER ISN'T REAL, BUT HIS STORY IS?"

Mate, this entire movie is fiction written by salty Christians which they'll claim to be the truth. It's unsurprising that it's "successful", since that's the entire m.o of the Bible.

Yeah this is moving to Debate.

Also please don't quadruple post, let alone double. You can edit a single post if you need to respond to multiple posts at once.

Also x2 let's try to be respectful folks. I know a lot of our older and long-time members are not exactly on the religion boat but we don't need to be shouting down the newer, younger folks who are.

I guess if I had to identify my belief system its closest to Christian in nature, but I just don't identify with the Church itself too well. I got no qualms with Jesus but his fan club is another story, in essence.

Thank you. By the way, it is not the "religion boat." I prefer science more.

Rangeet, how is this movie fiction? lmao. Isaac is not going to tolerate your disorganization of his truth. Also, Kevin Sorbo's mother didn't die, she got saved at the end, and he didn't, but did.

You're doing that thing again where you're posting multiple times.

That's cool and all Link but if you could instead use the multi function to quote multiple people in one post that would be grand, no reason to use multiple posts. Also, don't be rude to Jeri, he's a pretty nice dude.

I read the synopsis and any professor that's forcing his religious beliefs onto their students is getting hit with lawsuits
