Would anyone believe that I actually was gonna guess Staryu for Dave's Egg? Anybody? No? Yeah, that's probably wise because I highly doubt I'd have guessed Staryu... Well, anyway, he did hatch a Staryu.

Hmmm...I hatched an egg on Xmas day last year, and New Year's Eve day two years ago. Maybe this year I'll shoot for New Year's Day?

Always done Christmas because it lined up with my schedule. Would have liked to have continued the tradition but I completely forgot about it when I picked up my last egg and I am off cycle. Since I can next pick up on the 21st, I may go for the natural pickup and pick up as soon as I can or I may deliberately wait such that I pick up on Christmas and hatch on New Year's. We'll see.

Speaking of which, just noticed that if I keep to my schedule and pick up an egg next Thursday, it'll hatch on Christmas. I mean I knew my birthday was the same day of the week as Christmas in a given year, didn't realise that it was exactly a multiple of three weeks later.
The question is, do I stick to my current goals with a Water egg, go for somewhat clichéd theme with an Ice egg, or roll the dice with an Enigma egg? Hmm...

Were I in your shoes, my ranking would be Water > Ice > Enigma. I'd rather my Christmas miracle be my Christmas miracle, not somebody else's, and it doesn't seem like you really want an Ice type or a fossil, so yeah, I'd go for the Water starter.
That stated, I'd welcome Ice support (both for my own selfish sake and for others' sakes), and obviously there are some Water-type fossils you might be after, so I guess those two egg types work too.

Hmmm, with my egg hatched already, I won't be able to hatch an egg on Christmas... but if I wait a little bit I can get one for New Year's. I'll likely do that
Small edit: I would hatch a Grass egg, but only because I am still desperate to hatch one of two (three?) grass types ^^; |

I'll very likely just pick me up another Egg as soon as I can do so again, one that'll hatch two days after Christmas, and it'll probably be another Nature Egg. Either that or I'll take a break for an Ice Egg, as there's still that one Ice-type I'm after.

I really can't wait until the shop changes go into effect so I can go on my Dragon egg hatching spree.
I feel like I'll actually have a semi-realistic chance of getting everything I want within a year with them being reduced to the standard one hatch per two weeks. |

Well they were talking about making waits between all eggs longer in general, so don't get your hopes up too far man :p

Same here, except I could see myself hatching more Psychic Eggs. Not only because of them removing the mystery Egg restrictions, but also because the changes will hopefully coincide with a fairly major Psychic-type want of mine becoming hatchable in the first place.

Yeah, even though the wait between all eggs will be longer, I still can't wait for the Mystery eggs' restrictions to be lifted, myself. It is a bit of a pain of specializing in a type that uses that egg ^^; But I find I still have it well off despite of that |
