An hour or so later, after paying respects to the shrine when they finally found it, the entourage had made their way to the isle's Rocky Coast region, where the terrain was more rugged, and Morgul appeared more at ease, the prankster enjoying the somewhat cavernous locale. Kris meanwhile wasn't as cheerful, the rabbit complaining of the hard surface on her bunny feet, and the lingering stink of salt in the air. Caritas however heeded no attention to the Buneary, pointing her in the direction of some of the flats and telling her to look around while her and the psychic pokemon remained. When the two mischief makers had scarpered off to look for whatever tickled their fancy, the Golem looked up at Asclepius, who this time seemed a bit more subdued in terms of interest, as though keeping his mind clear. Whether or not that mattered or not meant little, as the Golem felt a reminiscent aura, whether that be due to magnetism or not, and began to try and follow that feeling... |

Maybe I’m the one who overthinks everything? Bagon wanted a teacher, found an egg, stole it, broke it, and got exactly what he wanted. I’m not sure there’s something to be learned here, but if there is, it might just be that I should chase my own dreams more aggressively… Ark smiled and pulled out his PokéDex, aiming it at the oddly-coloured bird. He wasn’t sure it would yield any results, but much to his surprise, it seemed as if the device had been configured to detect Galarian Pokemon as well! That made the tool infinitely more useful to Ark, who knew nothing about the creatures endemic to the region. ”Rookidee, the Tiny Bird Pokémon. It will bravely challenge any opponent, no matter how powerful. This Pokémon benefits from every battle – even a defeat increases its strength a bit.” “Looks like you’re a fighter, eh? You’ll fit right in. Bagon here is particularly interested in getting to know you better!” The small bird looked down at the dragon, then up towards Ark, before bowing solemnly like a knight. It wasn’t a reaction Ark was accustomed to – a show of respect none of his current companions would be inclined to show him, now that he thought about it. “Can’t wait to see what you grow into. Something tells me we’re gonna be great partners!” With a smile, Ark tossed a Nest Ball at the tiny avian, who surprisingly did not struggle; the Ball clicked shut with no resistance few seconds later. “Welcome aboard Rookidee!” ~~~~~~~~~~ Claiming: - Lv 1 Male Rookidee, using Nest Ball 1/1 - TM Acrobatics - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - Magical Elf Ears This was fun! Thanks for putting this up guys!

"Well, this sacrilege certainly could've been better handled." Chroma shook her head after giving the Statues of the Sun and Moon a good look. "These so-called invaders should've known better that to try to turn the Beast That Calls The Moon into some sort of shield! And I hardly see why the Beast That Devours The Sun would need a longsword, either." She turned her back to the statues to face the two pokemon she brought to assist her with the latest Springtime Isle Egg Hunt. "Well, deciphering the lore hidden in this shrine can wait. Legere, can you check the Sun's side for me? And Prolego, can you please take the Moon's side?" The kadabra and absol gave their respective signs of acknowledgement and scattered to probe the Shrine for its shelled valuables. "Now then, perhaps the space where the Blinding One should be is hiding some goodies as well?" |

Suddenly, Jake’s stomach rumbled. “Oh, Arceus,” he spat. “I’d better get something to eat. I’ve never been so hungry.” He reached for branch after branch. Even Buizel seemed to be more energetic than him! After more tiring minutes of climbing, Jake realized he really needed some Berries to fill his stomach, which was as empty as a leaking sandbag. He started peering into the tree’s nooks and crannies with more intent, feeling inside each thicket of leaves. Just then, his hand touched a hard, delicate surface. “What’s this?” he exclaimed. “Not a Berry, but...” Jake pulled the object out of the brush. “An egg!” he yelled excitedly. He waved and beckoned Buizel and Starly to come over and check it out. The two Pokémon chattered with anticipation and excitement as they nimbly hopped down to Jake’s spot. Somehow, just being near the egg invigorated Jake with energy. As soon as Buizel got down to see the egg, he put his paw on it gently and nodded at his trainer. “Bui, Buizel,” he said softly. Yes, this is the one. I sense a restoring energy coming from it. Choose this egg! Starly landed on top of the egg, and immediately he chirped with joy. I have a good feeling about this egg! Get it, please! Jake nodded when he understood. If his Pokémon were telling him to go for it, then why shouldn’t he? The young Aura user gently waved his Starling Pokémon off the egg, and as Starly perched safely on the branch, Jake put his hands on the green, brown and orange Galarian egg. The warmth he transmitted jump-started it into its hatching process. (OOC: Taking this egg and claiming it.)

Before he could execute his surprise attack though, he noticed something sitting within one of the bowls next to him - almost appearing a decorative piece at first, and barely visible from the outside due to the gray layer of dust gathered over the years, creating a dark film over the outer pane. Had he not been in such close proximity, likely none would have noticed its unassuming presence. Thus in his excitement at being the first to make such an important discovery, Pan forewent his sinister plot and cried out in announcement to the others, flinging the dresser doors wide open (and subsequently spreading spores everywhere - especially into poor Patty's face as she conveniently walked by at that precise moment, who wrinkled her nose as it sent her into a short coughing fit). Ignoring his irritated sibling as she hacked and spat, Pan eagerly began to roll the egg out from the lower shelf onto the floor, taking care at least not to crack the fragile cargo with his newly learned TELEKINESIS. ...Although the same couldn't be said for the ceramic that previously contained it, as it wobbled and teetered dangerously close to the edge due to the displaced weight, and only Waffle's timely dive saved it from suddenly smashing into pieces. The toaster breathed a sigh of relief as he steadied it with his mitts, then gently closed the cupboard and turned to help haul the egg to the center of the room so they could all get a better look. Blue shook her head and lightly scolded her son for his haste - before beaming with pride at delivering such a precious prize, whilst Patty rolled her eyes but drew closer as well in curiosity to inspect the find. Underneath the light (or at least what little of it there was provided), the egg shone a glimmering forest green (thanks in part to the globs of wax now coating the shell), shifting to a lighter, almost silver shade towards the bottom. Flecks of red spotted the surface as well, in a pattern Jess utterly failed to recognize at first. While she was somewhat more familiar with the number of species native to Galar - having actually taken the opportunity to visit the region herself beforehand this time - this one clearly wasn't very high on her radar. (Truth be told, she had some hope for a certain hatchling given the specific location the egg had been placed in, but it seemed someone in the Delibird's crew possessed a coy sense of humor that quickly quashed that notion.) Determining this one unfortunately wasn't the right fit for her team, she instructed Pan to put the egg back in its place, in anticipation another trainer who desired it would come along and give the little one a loving home. Pan looked a little disappointed by the decision, but did as directed. Meanwhile Patty was admittedly somewhat pleased with this outcome, not entirely trusting anything her brother was attracted to. ...Indeed, as Jess imagined the potential chaos that could unfold if she kept a future catapult creature around, perhaps it was for the best they part here and now. "Let sleeping dragons lie" - so the saying went, or something along those lines. Checking the clock on her Pokégear, Jess considered her options of what to do next. While it was possible the house might hold more hidden secrets, she did want to explore the isle further, since she only got to tour one of its other areas last time. Consulting the map that came enclosed with the invitation letter, it seemed there was a marketplace nearby the harbor where she could presumably interact with the island's inhabitants (a prospect that still daunted her somewhat, but could possibly lead towards obtaining useful information to aid her quest) - as well as sample some of the local cuisine. "We've still got some time. What do you say, guys? Want to go shopping?" Patty and Blue perked up noticeably at the suggestion, particularly as the latter was keen to pick up some baking supplies, while the former was simply interested in seeing what sorts of pretty souvenirs and baubles they had for sale. Hence it was Pan's turn to roll his eyes and gag, preferring to adventure in a more exotic environment. He crossed his arms and smoldered silently, but Waffle patted the boy's back in consolation, coaxing with the promise of delicious food at least. Considering this, the candle's flare softened, though he still sulked half-heartedly. Despite the pouting protest, Waffle lifted his son up to follow after the three enthusiastic girls as the group began heading in the direction of the Harborside Market.

"H-how is that egg... slimy!?" she exclaimed, shivering from that disgusting feeling. She gets back up and flickered the rest of the unidentified texture off her hand. "Sandy!" Leo shouts, trying to see where the Dedenne is within these market stalls. He is greeted with a loud squeak in return, and starts to head towards the noise. He looks through a few stands, trying to see if the gerbil was there with an egg. The first few stalls were just a louder response to his calls, with nothing turning it. Sure the market was big, but it wouldn't have taken this long to find her. If it was an egg, like he thought, she probably was trying to hold her ground against anyone else that might try and take it. After what seemed like an hour, Leo was finally able to track down the little electric type. She was squeaking like crazy in front of a milky-white egg. Its shell seemed to have been whipped together and spun into layers of sweet cream. It certainly looked like nothing he ever saw before. Seemed more like a confection than a Pokemon Egg. Looking at the shop owner, who seemed to be quite annoyed by the Dedenne at this point, Leo asked if he could take the egg. With a simple nod, Leo grabs the egg and gently lifts it up. It certainly smelled sweet, and while looking like a confection, it had the firmness of standard Pokemon eggs. Yes, this new friend would certainly do! (Cleaming this eggo!)

Naru- A change of scenery was always nice and even though you'd been to the Springtide Isle before, the treetops were a new sight. The berry laden trees were completely different to the old abandoned beach house you'd searched through last time. The sweet aroma was intoxicating, it was a surprise this place wasn't overrun with Bug types and Bird Pokemon eager to fill their bellies. Milo was already off searching for eggs, the Grovyle was built was climbing trees quickly. Unfortunately you weren't, meaning it was going to be incredibly difficult to get up into the canopy. Thankfully Luca is able to assist you. The Dartrix struggles slightly under your weight, but he eventually lifts the two of you up through the lower branches and into the canopy above.
The branches weave together, creating a makeshift floor for you to walk on. Caution was still necessary though, a foot in the wrong place and you could find yourself tumbling back down to the ground, where certain death likely awaited you. Looking around, you spot Milo with his head in the hollow of a tree. There seemed to be quite a few hollows around, maybe they were worth checking out? You and Luca split up, the Dartrix flapping over to another tree. Finding a nice big hollow, you stick your head inside and have a look. Oran berry, Leichi Berry, a stack of Chesto Berries, what sort of berry is that? You grab the large grey berry but as soon as you touch it, you realise it isn't a berry at all. Holding it up in the light, you inspect the egg in your hands. There isn't anything too special about it, the smooth grey surface lacked a lot of detail. You'd found your first egg, but was this the one you wanted? Biggggg5- Your chest heaves, your stomach churns and your limbs burn. You'd almost missed it. You managed to catch the last boat heading out to the Springtide Isle, if you'd taken any longer you would have missed out on another egg hunt! It had all been a rush since board the boat, you'd raced across the Isle, climbed up the trees and finally reached the Berry Tree Canopy. It was quite the physical ordeal, but at least the climb back down would be easier..... You begin your search, hoping that there is still plenty of eggs left to find. Thankfully you aren't alone in your search, as Elsa your Swinub is on hand to hopefully make things easier. With the Ice types powerful nose, you'd think she would have an easy time finding an egg. Unfortunately this isn't the case. The sheer multitude of scents is overpowering. Every time she thinks she has narrowed in on a scent, another one floods her nostrils. This wasn't going to be easy. While Elsa does her best to follow a scent, you search as well. After searching for a while, you spot something that catches your eye. A broken branch leans up against the trunk of a tree, the few remaining leaves seem to be concealing something. You move the branch out of the way to reveal a bright green egg, covered in orange and brown spots. You've finally managed to find an egg, but was this the end of your search? Lil'twick- After struggling to find Sandy, you eventually locate the Electric type standing guard over quite the peculiar egg. This egg almost looked edible, like it was a sweet rather than a Pokemon Egg. You pick it up to get a better look at it. Despite the soft and creamy look, the egg had the typical smooth, hard surface expected of a Pokemon egg. A delightfully sweet scent seemed to permeate from within, making you all the more curious about the Pokemon contained within. You head off with Sandy, in search of a nice place to wait for the egg to hatch. After searching through the marketplace, you eventually settle at a nice little cafe. Placing the egg at the centre of the table, you wait patiently, sipping a coffee while Sandy nibbles on a poffin. You've almost finished your coffee when the table starts to shake. You quickly steady it, but soon realise that it was the egg shaking, not the table! Cracks start to spread across the eggs surface as it rocks back and forth. In a flash of light the shell finally gives way, realising the Pokemon from within. The creamy blob floats above the table, staring at you with bright white eyes. You obtained: - Lv.1 Female Milcery - 1 TM Dazzling Gleam - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. |

"Sorry Lu, I don't really think this is the right fit for us..." Isaac murmured, placing the egg back into it's nest of berries carefully. Luca sighed, looking upwards at the massive tree that they still had to scale. Milo was already miles ahead of them, darting from branch to branch with ease. He never looked back, only taking pauses to search the small nooks and crannies among the branches for eggs. Isaac glanced upwards too, knowing that Luca was getting worn out from carrying him. Isaac gently stroked the bird's beak, patting his back. "You go on ahead, I can climb the rest of the way. I'm sure we'll find something soon." Luca nodded, cooing happily and nipping at Isaac's fingers playfully. He took off, heading in Milo's direction. Isaac sighed, looking up as he rubbed his hands together. He had a ways to go, and he would have to climb now. Slowly he lifted himself onto the next branch, hoping to find an egg to call his own soon --- before his arms gave out and he fell to the Earth below. He shuddered at the mere thought. He could spot Luca flying overhead, going in small circles around the tree, hoping his strong eyes would spot an egg. Luca, meanwhile, continued moving lighting fast. Isaac huffed, only on his second branch. He was getting too old for this shit. |

Emi - Content with your findings (although heavily curious exactly what sort of Pokemon could lay an egg on the ceiling), you decided to be on your way. Nestling the egg in your arms you made your way to the entrance of the cave, curious if the warm air that permeated from beyond the cave would somehow affect the icy coating that seemed to bind with the shell of the egg. You felt comfortable with the egg, and somehow you felt as though it would be a suitable team member for you. |

“Give it a little nudge, would ya?” Jake asked, hoping that the egg just needed a bit of activity. Starly nodded and pecked the egg a bit. Still, nothing much. After waiting some more in the trees, Jake realized that he was going to have to head down. The height which the group was at was dizzying, however, and he knew he wasn’t going to make it if he carried the egg. But the trainer had another idea, which he put into action with a simple nod at his Pokémon. Concealed behind that nod was a silent message of aura that Jake conveyed. Alright, Buizel, take the egg and put it on Starly’s back. You two head down with me. The egg probably isn’t gonna hatch this up high. Without a word, the two Pokémon acted. Buizel carefully placed the egg atop the bird Pokémon’s back, and Starly took off, gliding down while circling the tree trunk. Jake started climbing down, Buizel right behind him. Slowly but surely, all three living beings made it to the ground. Starly arrived first, the egg his perching spot. Just as the three got themselves settled, the egg shook with a sharp rattle. Starly chirped in alarm, and quickly flew to the ground, landing safely before turning his attention to the egg like Jake and Buizel were. The egg continued to shake, more and more violently, until at last, it glowed a blinding white. Jake, Buizel and Starly shielded their eyes, but soon, the glow faded. The egg was gone, nowhere to be seen. In its place was some kind of monkey Pokémon that matched the egg’s color scheme exactly. Instantly, the surrounding land was filled with lush grass that surged up from the ground. The land seemed to radiate nature energy now. The cute little thing looked up at Jake curiously before tapping its stick on the ground. “Interesting!” Jake exclaimed, pulling out his Pokédex. “Let’s see if we can get any info out of this device!” he said, shaking the Pokédex expectantly before holding it up to the generally green Pokémon. To his surprise, it generated an entry: Grookey, the Chimp Pokémon. A Grass-type. When it uses its special stick to strike up a beat, the sound waves produced carry revitalizing energy to the plants and flowers in the area. “A Grookey!” said Jake. “That’s neat. Now, I’m Jake, a trainer who would love to have you! Would you like to join me, little guy?” “Grook, Grookey!” the little Pokémon replied. It was an affirmative, proven further when Grookey jumped into Jake’s arms for a warm embrace. “Haha! Looks like a yes! Okay, you’re in, buddy!” Jake said cheerfully, holding the Chimp Pokémon. Raising Grookey into the air, Jake jumped up and exclaimed, “Alright! I just obtained a Grookey from Galar!” “Buizel!” added Buizel. “Starly!” tweeted Starly. (OOC: Hehe, Jake likes to do victory poses with his Pokémon. Claiming these and declaring Grookey’s Ability to be its HA, Grassy Surge! - Lv. 1 Male Grookey - 1 TM Energy Ball - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears [Held Item] - This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. But the woman kept holding it close to her and taking little snacks to the Snom, who ate even while it was sleeping. Maybe it had some kind of infectious cuteness? Was Scylla's position as the team baby in danger? Well no, but she sure thought so. The quartet walked away, before finding a basket filled with other goodies. Candies, a TM, and a pair of elf ears. lilboocorsola: You decide to pass up on the mysterious egg and go to a decidedly less spooky locale for the time being. The Harborside Marketplace seemed like as good of a place to go as any, after all, shopping and eating out is pretty fun, especially since egg hunting can be kind of stressful and tiring. You arrive at the bustling market rather unfortunately during a pretty hectic time of the day, and looking around to try and find something to do is proving rather difficult. There were long lines to get to some of the market stands and shops, many of the restaurants were packed, and people were having a hard time trying to get by each other. Eventually the hustle and bustle of the main path becomes a little much for you and your friends and you decide to duck out to a safe haven you spotted along the way: a coffee shop that was busy, but not quite yet full.
You sit down at one of the empty tables and your Pokemon follow suit. All of you look a little exhausted from that mayhem, but it seems like the waiters and waitresses are caught up in other things at the moment. You decide to look around a bit because there's something tickling your nose. It's a sweet smell, and you can't quite place what it is. It's probably coming from the coffee shop, but you can't quite trace it. There's a lot of people here, but it doesn't quite smell like perfume either. It smells richer and sweeter than that. Maybe it's the coffee? That seems a little closer, although coffee smells a little fuller and a lot less sweet. But not always. It'll smell a little different if it has a lot of... Blue suddenly points at something and tries to get your attention, and you look over to where Blue is pointing: the decoration on the table. It's rather nice looking and quite cleverly allows for places to hold extra sugar and cream, and there's also a nice decorative stone...That's no stone! It's an egg! You pick it up to examine it and you immediately realize it's where the sweet smell from before was coming from: it smells like cream! Not to mention its cream colored and a little on the small side. It's definitely an egg, and it looks like it'll hatch into a sweet lil thing. What will you do? Raves: Traveling on the Rocky Coast proves a little more treacherous than the Shrine, because while there might be an OSHA violation or two at the Shrine that could be a problem, the crumbling rocks and unsturdy precipices of the coast demand some more caution. Traversing the coast, Caritas comes across a lot of empty nests, which is quite curious. The eggs must have hatched or already have been picked at for some time now. The crew starts to investigate this spot, looking for any eggs and potential clues as to what might have made the nests here. Something is immediately clear: a lot of the vegetation has been chopped down. In fact, so much of it has that there isn't anything left still standing. It doesn't look like it was used to make room for the nests either, but rather chopped down for some other means. Caritas can't tell what kind of plant it was, but the Sableye suddenly squeaks as it found something. Caritas moves over to find... a nest! But this one has an egg in it. It's a dark brown egg with a white bottom, and isn't really notable otherwise. There also seems to be some kind of large stick in the nest, and it seems like that's also part of the vegetation that was cut down in the area. Maybe its food for their young? Whatever it is, it's pretty clear the nest has been abandoned for some time, although there's no clear evidence as to why. Maybe the egg was a really late hatch and the parents couldn't stick around? Regardless, the egg is there and probably needs a home, although it might be pretty capable of surviving on its own. What will do you?

It seemed one of the nests remained untouched, and its contents consisted of another egg, this time brown and white, as well as one rather thick looking plant beside it. As the group examined the egg, the Ralts gave a small shake of his head, and gave a slight sigh. Caritas took this cue as a sign that there was something about this egg that wasn't quite right either, and so the pokemon opted to leave it be, and motioned for the group to continue the search. Kris nodded and bounded off towards a flatter expanse, and despite the protests by the alolan form, the Sableye slinked off after her, leaving Caritas exasperated and having little choice but to follow them, yet something in her head had clued her in that perhaps the rabbit was on to something. Continuing to search the Rocky Coast, she mentally noted that time was getting on, and that they had best find something of interest soon, as she seemed to feel the wind picking up a bit... |

Despite the darkness' attempt to obscure her vision, it hadn't taken Chroma very long at all to find an egg... mostly because it seemed to have found her. Whatever creature that was resting within clearly had some degree of prowess in regards to emotional manipulation at even such a ridiculously young age, but... Chroma already had something else in mind to handle such lessens, and she couldn't sense anything special about this egg beyond its calling out to her. Never mind Ami's pair of swoobat holding some expertise on the matter as well! "Sorry, little one, perhaps the next person will be more willing to take you in," she murmered as she placed the youngling back into its safe cubby hole. "Right! Let's see if the others have found anything yet!" |

As the trainer picked up the gifts she wanted to buy, she noticed that the stall next to the one she was shopping at had a strange pile of scarfs and blankets. Not only it was a big contrast to the rest of the neatly stacked knitted products, but it has a strange shape to it... Ever so curious, Mélina started to carefully dig through the pile, and it didn't take long enough to reveal an egg beneath it all! "Uhm," she looked at the textile stall's merchant, pulling out and pointing at the egg, "Is that yours?" The vendor shugged. "Nope, not mine. Feel free to take it." Mélina stared at the egg, deep in thought. Indy started looking at it intently too, imitating his trainer while perched on her shoulder. Should she keep this one? "Well I have found the presents I was looking for," she thought, "so could it be the egg I was looking for too? At least it looks ok this time. What's in it though? Would I be able to take care of it? How will it behave? How well will it be with my other Pokémon? Is it-" ((OOC: Picking this one! Surprise hatch-a-time!)) |

Naru- Arms burning, you slowly pull yourself further and further up the tree. Occasionally you have a minor heart attack as a branch groans and cracks against your weight, but thankfully they hold strong. Why would anyone hide eggs up here? Perhaps the point was to keep them out of reach from all bar those that have the strength and resolve to search up here, or perhaps whatever hid them just took joy in making people suffer....
Milo looks down from above as Luca continues to circle, it seems the two aren't exactly impressed by the progress you're making, you're slowing them down! Milo jumps down, confidently falling through the branches before landing on one a few feet above you. As the Grovyle lands on the branch it bends and shakes, knocking something loose from the foliage. The object drops quickly, giving you only seconds to react. Grasping the branch you're on with one hand, you reach out desperately with the other. Your hand gets beneath the plummeting egg just in time, although your hold on it is far from great. Luca comes to the rescue, swooping in and snatching the egg with his talons. Milo leaps down onto the branch and helps you up, that was a close call! Luca drops the egg into your arms before landing, giving you a chance to inspect it. The egg is bright red for the most part, with the top being bright green while the bottom is a golden brown. Was this the egg for you? |

The sudden shift in weight on the branch caused the large wooden hinge to creak and groan as something shook loose. Thinking fast, Isaac let go of the branch he was holding with one hand. He could feel his heart sink and his anxiety swell as he reached out, instinctively wanting to catch the object. He felt the heavy weight of the oval shaped object in his palm, but he knew that his grip wasn't exactly the best. At any moment he knew the balance could shift and the egg could tumble out of his hand. A loud call sounded from above, causing Isaac and Milo's heads to shoot up as they watched Luca swoop down, talons outstretched as he grabbed the egg from Isaac's hand. Isaac sighed with relief, feeling the branch he was on shift as Milo lowered himself and outstretched his arms to help Isaac up. On proper footing again, Isaac brushed himself off. Luca flew above, dropping the egg into Isaac's arms and allowing him to investigate it. The egg was red, almost entirely a bright red. However, there was a splotch of green on the top as well as a golden brown base. Isaac glanced at the egg, he noted that it looked very shiny --- like some sort of juicy apple. He pondered the egg for a few moments as Luca landed on the branch beside him. "I think this is the one guys." He smiled, patting Milo along his nose and giving Luca a small scratch under his chin. The owl cooed happily, happy that the trio could finally leave this tree. ((OOC: Claiming this egg!)) |

Median Dia - Deciding that that egg was not quite the one for you, you wandered towards the side of the shrine where Legere had gone. The Kadabra seemed preoccupied. He wasn't exactly searching for eggs, but rather he was floating a few feet off the ground, levitating as he meditated. Presumably he was trying to use his psychic powers to locate an egg, but thus far he seemed to be having little luck. His eyes did not open as you approached, nor did he give any reaction to indicate that he was aware you were there. Deciding to leave him to... whatever it was he was really doing, you wandered back to the other side. |

Naru- It seemed the egg that you'd been searching for had simply fallen into your hand/s. Well it wasn't exactly simply, the egg had nearly ended up scrambled, if not for your heroic save. Having settled on keeping the egg, your Pokemon wait eagerly for it to hatch, excited to meet their new teammate. It appears you won't have to wait long, as the egg soon starts to shake. Sounds are heard coming from within as cracks start to spread across the shell. It a burst of light the shell is discard, leaving what appears to be a smaller version of the egg you were holding?
Luca and Milo look curiously at the object in your hand. It was almost identical to the egg, although it looked a bit more like an apple in shape. Was this some sort of babushka doll situation? As Luca gets in close, he is shocked as another pair of eyes pop up to meet his own. The owl squawks and flaps backward, it is a Pokemon! The bright green eyes are soon joined by a chunky little tail that worms its way out of the bottom of the apple. This certainly was an odd little fellow! It wiggles around in your hands, trying to get a better look at you. It's stares at you with its bright eyes before squeaking happily, it seems to like you! You obtained: - Lv.1 Male Applin - 1 TM Energy Ball - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. |

“Hmm.” He says mostly to himself but Elsa is around to listen. “This would be a pretty good choice. But its not what we are looking for this time around.” He says and straightens up after setting the egg back in place. “Let’s keep going.” He says and starts back along with Elsa tagging along at his heels. |

Isaac chuckled, "I think it thinks you're going to eat it, Lu." Luca looked offended, snapping his beak angrily at the creature. This did little to quell it's worries, causing it to shrink down behind Isaac and give a sad whimper. Milo knelt down, moving towards the creature and extending a hand. 'Grovyle, Grov.' He began, gesturing to Luca. The owl looked offended by whatever the lizard had told the creature, but it seemed to make the apple chin up. 'Lin! Applin!' It gave a small giggle, eyes closed as it wandered back towards the other two Pokemon. Isaac chuckled, pulling out his Pokedex and allowing it to scan the small creature. The old Unovan dex took a few moments, before finally updating and displaying the information. "Wait... dragon?!" Isaac exclaimed, looking at the small apple. It made an odd noise, hobbling towards the end of the tree branch and beginning to work it's way down. Isaac chuckled to himself nervously, he had never raised a dragon... not to mention he had not idea what this thing would become. Luca cooed, taking off and flying down. Milo leapt to the trunk, grabbing the creature and helping it down. Isaac meanwhile, sighed, knowing that he had to get down now. ((Thanks TKF! I'll be claiming this little guy and naming him Secace. I'll be using my 3 Springtide Candies on him to boost him to Level 4 and then I'll be feeding him 16 Candies to boost him to level 20. Oh uh, his ability will be Bulletproof. And he'll be in my Red Cyber Ball. I'll also be picking up Energy Ball and hanging onto it for now, alongside the Magical Elf Ears))

Legere turned out to be, uh, not very obvious in his search. Knowing him, he was probably a little too paranoidabout the potential for some unknown assailant from the strange land of Galar. Such a lookout seemed incredibly unnecessary, of course, but convincing the kadabra of that would be like trying to push a boulder up a steep cliff- easier with telekinesis, but far from worth the effort. As such, Chroma decided to check up on Prolego's progress instead. Unserprisingly, the absol seemed to have already found something noteworthy- but based off of the franticness of his digging into the statue's base (hopefully nobody would catch them about this), it seemed all but certain that something was in danger! Was this egg going to face some sort of trouble soon, or was it a danger to everything else around it? If Legere hadn't reacted to its pressence yet, it seemed like the former possibility was probably the most likely one... "Well, it certainly looks like we won't be able to put this one back in it's hidey-hole now, even if it was a wise idea to do so," Chroma stated with an over-dramatic sigh. She was, in truth, quite intrigued by this stone-like thing, with its runic markings and peculiar energy. "Well, there's no point in fretting about that now. Let's just grab Legere and get out of here before the master of the shrinegrounds shows up and makes things complicated for us, okay?" (OOC: I'm claiming this eggo here~) |
