Yeah so I did find that... sadly lacking compared to the past couple. Hoping they bring back the writer from last week, he was great.

Yeah that episode was all kinds of not ok but it was so hugely meh that I just don't care.

The last episode was a good idea in theory, and I mean that in the most basic way possible, it was just done badly. I think that the child actors were okay though, I mean, it's not their fault that certain people shouldn't be writing for Doctor Who.

There were two parts of this episode that I liked, the first was the Doctor and Mave or however you spell it before the opening credits because I thought it was actually pretty cute. My other favourite part was the preview of the Finale, which looks terrific and has Cybermen.

Michelle Gomez is a goddess. I have no other comment other than that the rest of that episode was mind-numbingly shite (minus Chris Addison, my spirit animal). Looking forward to Nick Frost as Santa at least...? And the Doctor versus the Xenomorph...

Ok yeah, Christmas will be shit but Nick Frost man!

I was sort of glad that Clara's leaving wasn't really dramatic, I'm tired of companions leaving in dramatic ways and having horrible things happen to them like with Donna, Rose, and the Ponds.

I'm really pissed that Missy seems to be gone too, since she's terrific. Hopefully they'll find a way to Moffat her back to life.

Also, OSGOOD IS DEAD NOOOOOOOO! I really liked her...

I found this pretty interesting.

Well Missy was at least entertaining and watchable, even if she was yet another Moffat girl. My only complaint about Missy is actually the fact that she wasn't really evil as much as she was just plain nuts.

When she said she was left behind, I thought she was Romana (not knowing what happened to her). That being said, I'm glad to have been surprised; and I hope get some good stories next season with The Master, er....Mistress.

The ending (Clara's sendoff) was anticlimactic - "OK we're going our separate ways now. OK bye!" Thanks for the nod to the Brigadier though. I want more old characters to return.

A few one liners do not make up for reinforcing negative tropes about women, transgender persons or power. Just the latest in a long line of Moffat women that are basically River Song and merely plot devices that happen to the doctor.
