The Future of Free RP - Bar, Park, Nightclub/Tree Grove, and more~

So, I figured I would open up a Development Thread topic about my own personal favorite activity in FB - Free RP.

To begin, a few questions I'd like to pose to the community:

1) Would you like to bring back the Pokemon-Only Tree Grove?
2) Would you like to bring back the Trainer-Only Nightclub?
3) Is there a new Free RP Zone that you'd like to see open?
4) If a member would like to see a new Free RP Zone created in the future, what would the process be for this? Would they be able to create it freely without approval, or go through a similar process as zones?

Your feedback is appreciated~

As far as 1 and 2 go, yes. Why not? I don't see any negatives to opening either and/or both of these. Just seems to give more opportunities for character development, and IMO, that can only be a good thing.

I'm going to hold off on responding to 3 and 4 because I have yet to give it a lot of thought, but I'll get back to that in the future.

nightclub and grove are cool, they should come back. after them, I don't think new free RP areas are needed and if somebody does want to create a new one, we'll have bases.

I'm all for the Nightclub and the Tree Grove coming back. I'm thinking their relative lack of popularity had less to do with what they were, and more to do with where they were. I'm thinking the same threads here on UPN would be far more active than they were over at BMG.

I'm not sure if we'll need much more in the way of new free RP areas outside of the two we currently have and the two we're talking about bringing back, but for all I know, someone out there might have a beautiful idea for one that absolutely deserves to be made. I'm thinking further free RP zones should have to be approved beforehand. Not necessarily by the mods, though- maybe we can have a thread where members can pitch their ideas for free RP zones and get an idea of what the community thinks of them, and if more people are for it than against it after a certain amount of time, it can become a thing. Or something like that.

I believe that we should bring back the Nightclub and the Tree Grove. They both bring something unique to the free RP experience. But I actually don't think we need anything more than that, unless people want to play around with specific settings (such as, for example, maybe like a murder mystery free RP area). We should have a thread open so people can submit free RP areas if they want for either community or mod approval, depending on how people feel on that front.

By popular demand, The Tree Grove and The Nightclub are back. Huzzah!

I actually like Emi's idea of a Murder Mystery Free RP area - if someone at some point were to design that, it'd be cool - but it's probably low priority right now. Either way, I hope everyone enjoys the revival of these two Free RP areas, and if anyone has any other ideas regarding Free RP, let them be heard~!
