The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Well, since I have nothing better to do while my anime is loading up, I figured I might as well say a little bit about this. I had this som' bitch pre-ordered for like a week before this released and I picked this up yesterday. Anyway, I haven't played this much because I have been playing FE9 (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance) because I picked it up recently.
All of the useless crap aside, this title is like right after the Windwaker takes place. Link (in my game, his name is J'Wiz =D) is riding Terra's ship and they are in search of a ghost ship. Well, they encounter this ghost ship and Terra jumps in. Needless to say, she disappears. Link falls out of the ship and wakes up on this island. Yea, not much of a plot, but it's still a fun Zelda adventure, so shut the hell up. You control EVERYTHING with the stylist. You use it for your movements, your sword slashes, and you can even use it to make notes on your map. Despite how this sounds, it is very fun when you get used to it. Actually, it soon becomes smoother than the other 2-D Zeldas. The combat system is also very well done. All you have to do is poke your enemies with the stylist or draw a slash to slash the enemies. Now, I have only put like 30 minutes into this, so I still don't know much. If you have a DS and you are looking for a good title, consider this. The little time I have spend with it has been fulfilling. When I finish FE9, I will spend more time on this. |
