Well, topic time.
Crimbo. What get? Amidst sweets and clothing (some fun SMB candy in metal Mario tins, yay) I got a 3DS XL, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Y, Bravely Default, SSB43DS, a candy floss maker, new slippers and a freaking awesome Pokemon Center imported Espurr mug. Now you can be watched by eerie things while you drink! |

Mostly beer and shower gel because I'm a 26 year old guy whose family doesn't know what else he likes. Fair bit of choc too.
Also got a dive computer to go with the rest of my scuba gear, which was pretty cool.

So besides chocolate and money.
A few cheap desk ornaments of which one was a Pokéball toy. Bottle of Irish whiskey. Cologne because my mother and sisters are convinced I should start wearing it as it would 'increase my chances'. And lastly a stress ball which was oddly enough something I was looking for the other day (damn mind readers). All in all, I'm very happy with what I got.

Merry Christmas my effervescent comrades! Hope you all got everything you wanted.
As a 22 year old with a full time job, Christmas wasn't so much about the presents this year, but I still got a nice backpack for work, some Doc Marten shoes and a lot of money for the January sales.

I got some neat stuff this year! And a couple of not-so-neat things but, well, Grandma's never really been the most in touch with what I like so it was kind of expected. I got:
-A wallet (Don't use wallets...) -A big beach bag, but kinda of that 'teen girl/young woman' style which... eh. Never really been my thing and it definitely isn't now. -Some multi-coloured marbled, nice-smelling soap. -A $50 pre-paid visa giftcard -A book called Mateship with Birds -A book full of photography from the ANZANG competition, which is great and by the end I was going "aah!" at every new page. -Some bamboo to fill the void left in my heart by my inability to keep a pet right now. Think I'll call it Barry. -A big box of Lindt chocolates. -And mum got this caricature I had done of me at the ORAS midnight release professionally framed! Mum and her boyfriend also hosted a party, which is a first! It went really well, though there was a bit too much food. (I say 'a bit' but the fridge is full and we still have half a trifle, a chocolate ripple cake, and a plate full of fudge). Everyone got along, even those who hadn't met before, and the setup looked great.

Aside from Alpha Sapphire, I got Settlers of Catan that I got my family to play today, plus we got DVDs for the first two Hobbit movies, and I've yet to watch them... got some watching to do, haven't I?

Well, I think it's safe to say I didn't see this coming. But the hatch post just inspired me, got me writing, and before I knew it, I was thinking up the nickname instead of posting to offer him for trade, as per the original plan. Everyone, meet Jack!

: ...yawn? Also, congrats to GS on Zyra's evolution! I liked how that was done. And welcome back, Treep! And as for what went on with my share of the FB Christmas loot; Blueberry Slushie: By default, anything that teaches Custom Moves goes to Hermione. If she already knows it, it goes to Chromium instead, and if she also knows it, then I think about it and pick someone else to learn it. The second one is what happened today- Chromium learned Brain Freeze. Christmas Candy: I usually bank these, but now that I have an Ice-type to use it on, I had to go for it- fed it to Jack, raising him from level 1 to level 3. Cranberry Juice: Aria drank that, learning the MT move Swords Dance. Cranberry: This one went to Dudley, raising him from level 24 to level 26. Delibird Plushie: Chose it over the Lapras and Red-Nosed Stantler Plushies, and used it to teach Jack Blizzard. Mystic Mistletoe: I originally considered having Ginny and Stewie taking this one, and Keith finding out about them in that way, but I ended up deciding to have Fang and Aria share their first kiss like this instead. Fang grew from level 5 to level 8 (learning Bite in the process) and learned Rage Powder. Aria grew from level 1 to level 4 (learning Growth in the process) and learned Pin Missile. Ginny and Stewie, I saved those two for later... TM Frost Breath: Jack got that one, too. TCP Pass: Buying what will finally give me the makings of my very own deck. Pretty soon, I'll actually be in a position to challenge someone! Gummis: Fed the Mysterious and White Gummis to Chromium, raising her IQ from 29 to 35. Still no Gummi Bomb, but we're getting there! Though what I'd really like is an opportunity to let her Sketch something. Currently trading the Grass Gummis, and the Gummis I didn't already mention are all up for trade (that's 3 Clear, 3 Red, and 6 Blue). (nicknames; Dudley = Shiny Slowpoke; Chromium = Smeargle; Jack = Snover; Aria = Roselia; Ginny = Pawniard; Stewie = Shadow Ledian; Fang = Carnivine) Last edited by Missingno. So when I was thinking of couples in my squad there were a few who fit the bill. The sniper pair of Suzi the Remoraid and Trevor the Horsea, the Chondrichthian couple of Sam the Carvanha and Sybil the Mantyke, and the royal Goldeen duo of Magrat and Verence. But I eventually went with my more mammalian couple of Angua the Houndour and Carrot the Shinx.
Then I realised the Mistletoe would put Carrot up to a very special milestone. I thought I could hold onto it for a while and RP it out somewhere else, but I thought... nah, it's Christmas. Might as well go for it. : {purrs} And a thing happened.

Congrats on Carrot's evolution, Dave! I actually could've made one of my Pokémon evolve under the mistletoe as well. *looks at Shiny Stone* Only there's still some moves I want Aria to learn before I worry about evolving her into Roserade.

Hey, Treep!
Almost tempted to come back just to RP using the Mystic Mistletoe... Ah, well, perhaps someday Kief will realize Kanna's feelings. XP
