lol I picked Torchic as my starter so I was planning on using the Mystery Gift Beldum for Roxanne but now it's Level 12 and won't obey me oops. Might just grind up until I get Combusken now and take care of things with Double Kick.

Eh, I disagree with your verdict. :\ Having spare Mega Stones is useful for when you're trading with someone else who has a different set of spares. Unless ORAS has gifted you two copies of Charizardite X/Y or Mewtwonite X/Y, then the mega stones with version-exclusive copies are still worth having duplicates of (one for keeps, one for trades). This was part of the reason I specifically noted Mewtwonite X/Y for Kush: because of how easy it would be for him to get (provided he doesn't care about the Mewtwo's stats or nature and provided he doesn't care about using his Master Ball) and because his brother, Kush himself, or one of his friends could stand to benefit from the spare copy of the Mewtwonite X.

All this stated, it's not a big deal. Like, I may disagree with the verdict, but my volume is like 5 decibels. I was just suggesting you do this before resetting because I see it as wasteful to erase all of those goodies when there are kids on the Internet who'd love to have the spares, but w/e. Really, really not a big deal.

Iirc you get one by getting Madter Rank in all Contests and the other by finishing up the Post-Game.


Anyway I got ORAS yesterday and things have been foing good.
On OR I am currently the owner of a Level 28 Grovyle ready to battle Brawly while on AS I may have spent four hours SRing for an Adamant Male Torchic (didn't get one. At least I got an Attack-Boosting onr though) and am currently hunting for Shroomish, as it would be the fourth mon on my permanent Team (only missing Shroomish, Snorunt, and Swablu currently).

They may be abusing the Dexnav to get good Pokémon. I plan to in an attempt for a Electrike with Flame Burst.

Saw this somewhere else, makes quite a lot of sense :o (Yes I find these theories interesting, shhhhh :P)

In ORAS, the DexNav lets you find Pokemon with hidden abilities, egg moves, a few perfect IVs, and all. And at so many levels. Low level Pokemon with night slash and boom burst, or higher as the game goes on. So where did they all come from? They weren't in the game before ORAS! We had to breed those moves and guaranteed IVs onto them!
And that's when it hit me.
We DID breed those egg moves, few perfect IVs, hidden abilities, onto those Pokemon.
These are all the Pokemon that have been released over the years in the pursuit of that perfect IV, hidden ability, egg move touting Pokemon you've been breeding.
They've been living in the wild now, hence the varying levels.
And why do you have to sneak up on them, lest they run away?
Because they remember what happened the last time they were with a human.
