Only at the higher rankings. But that's just basic elo for you. If you want to climb you should be winning like 70% of games.

Finished my placement matches and got 55. Not exactly sure how the rankings work.

The higher the number the better you are.

Last I looked at someone else's profile a rank 49 was considered in the top 43%, and above 60 is pretty damn good with 79+ being in the top 1% of players so I'd assume you're both in the top 35% or better.

Edit: Just doublechecked global stats and apparently there was a slight shift to be more centralized. 52 is in the top 41%, 55 is in the top 27%. 72+ is the top 1%, though.

I've been hoping for a Symmetra Legendary skin, either Architech or Vishkar skins. Though I am happy with my legendary Zenyatta skin too. :3

I've played it a lot more though, and while I'm not a perfect Symmetra, I can play her pretty well on most maps as offensive or defensive. Though usually as offensive I first choose to be either Lucio or Zenyatta depending on the actual mission. I find that I'm not good as a Tank or Defense beyond possibly using Torj from time to time, but *shrug*

So I'm pretty much Hero Support (also known as sidekick :P)

I prefer the Architech overall but as far as her weapon and hands go (the parts of the skin you see the most playing) Vishkar is better imo.

I'm satisfied with my current main's skin: Pharah with the Anubis skin. Also unlocked Genji's Carbon Fiber skin which is awesome. Too bad I'm only decent with the guy.

Anyone got tips for avoiding the terror that is a Genji constantly flanking you into oblivion?

I have grown into the habit of teabagging before D.Va ulting and then doing the emote while it explodes, so I know where you're coming from.

Not really, you just need to pop a 4+ man rez in a game where nobody else has anything more than like a double. Happens all the time. The key is just to know when shit's about to hit the fan and then to promptly run the fuck away behind a wall or something screaming bloody murder. Then press Q like you had that planned all along.

i had people afk in like 7/10 of my placements (and i just suck in general) so i went 2-8 and got placed at rank 31

7 games later im rank 38 (i think? i might be 37)

I had literally never played Genji before but I just kinda picked him in one of my games and found surprising success (it's shocking how op the E button is down here in the land of bastion and torbjorn).

Also have success with Ana even though i had never played her before picking her in competitive either :,)

Such a good idea. I'm trying to practice with Widowmaker! When they eventually add a sneak or detection factor in the game, these snipers can really do some damage

I tried to BM once, I flexed after getting a quadra as Reinhardt, unfortunately the PoG cam ended before the emote went off.

Just got an excellent BM moment in competitive. Was on Lijiang, the Garden, team was already up 2-0, had like 95% on the point and the enemy team had four people on trying to take it. Popped D.Va ult through the window and landed it smack on top of the little poster tower, blowing to kill all of them. It took me a solid couple of seconds to process what happened, walking back over with my mech I just stop and emote. Happily, it made it into the PotG clip.

I have discovered that your placement matches don't bother with how well you actually play. No, they count how many games you've lost due to someone on your team leaving and it now being a 5v6. Which, apparently, happens ALL THE BLOODY TIME.

So there's a new Olympics event scheduled until the 22nd, which I haven't had a chance to check into because of DDoSing by butthurt banned aimbotting children. You can tell Overwatch takes place in a fantasy setting because they're letting Zarya compete.

I find myself quite enjoying Rocket Lucio.

I do wish that these fukken Loot Boxes didn't also have the same chances for every other fukken loot included since, Iunno, they're limited time and fuck that.
