Quick question. For those shops saying the Pokemon needs to stay for three days. Does that mean we get to use our Pokemon again after those 3 days?

Normally, but I've been a little slow with the shop updates as of late so you do need to wait until their stay is confirmed.

You can only trade items within FB. I guess you could make someone a userbar to sweeten a deal, but if the mods think its unfair (4 candies for a berry) I think they'll stop the trade. That's what the rules say anyway iirc.

Is there an official ruling on Flash and Rock Smash? As of Gen 4, Flash lost its HM status; and in Gen 2 and 5, Rock Smash wasn't an HM.

Now that we're supposed to go by the Gen 5 TM system, should we be buying those TM's (Flash and Rock Smash); or can we use the Training Center's HM's?

You can buy them as TMs. Some of my Pokemon know Flash through the TMs.

But I taught my Tangela Flash and Rock Smash as HM for free after 1 week's stay each at the Training Centre. I think you can do it either way.

Because the games keep switching back and forth regarding whether or not they're HM's or TM's we've simplified it.
If it's ever been an HM in any generation then you can use the Training Centre to learn it. Just link to the appropriate Pokédex page when dropping them off.

Are secret bases strictly free to role-play zones or can they be treated as a mini zone, so to speak, by its owner? Kinda like the free-for all zone, I mean.

I was IP banned on my homeboard for some reason, which means that I can't access my profile and stuff like that. Is there anything I can do about it, or does this mean that my membership has to be revoked?

According to the FAQ, apparently we can change a traded Pokemon's nickname, or at least we could back when it was created. Does it still apply? I'm asking because I was under the impression, for some reason, that you couldn't.

Yes, you can change the nickname of any pokemon any and as many times as you want - be it caught, hatched, adopted, or traded.

More like the Bar than the Free For All Zone.
It's for RPing with your friends, not updating them.

If it's permanent then we can switch your Home Board (BMG could use a few more members), that's not a problem, but if it's temporary and you're willing to ride it out then we can leave everything as it is.

To be honest I have no idea =p They haven't got back to me yet.

Well, if it is permanent, then I am willing to change my homeboard to BMGf, since I think I'll be on there semi-frequently from now on, though I'd prefer UPN as it's a bit more convenient for me. I dunno... Well if it does end up permanent (probably is), I'll switch to BMGf.

In PASBL it does, so you can say it's a yes for Trainer Battles.

As for zones, it'd be up to the updator. I'd rather it just be used to heal allies and enemies, personally.

Actually, enchantress, never mind, I seem to be unbanned. I don't know if me being banned was an accident (probably, because you can only get an IP ban for creating alts to my knowledge, and I'm pretty sure I haven't done that), or if me being unbanned was an accident, but still, I'm unbanned for now.

No, you can heal allies or if it's one on one then it heals your opponent.

Some of you are really treading dangerous waters.
Gifts are not allowed in FB but some of the trades we've been seeing in recent months are dangerously close to being considered as such.

If you wish to trade please do so, but if we catch you gifting you will be facing temporary bans.

Could Tess or someone else please explain what exactly 'Gifts' mean?

Gifts are things you give away, but since gifting was banned several years ago some people try to circumvent this by trading items and/or Pokémon for far less than what they are worth.
