I would have banished two cards from his hand during my turn, with the potential for one during his turn. So it's basically three cards to break open my field.

I realized something about Soul Charge, you could theoretically target 30 monsters, but only summon 5 because of the field's limitations.

Pretty sure you can only target 5 in an open field scenario because any more targets will not allow you to special summon all of your targets. While it is D.D. Crow proof I don't think you can set it up to fail at activation.

So in more relevant things I was looking into Performapal builds and I noticed that a couple of them had Xiangke Magician (also known as Destruction or Antithesis Magician). I didn't realize why until I saw this:

For newer people who are unfamiliar with the rulings of YGO or for more experienced people who want refreshers and maybe to learn an interesting thing or two, like this I learned today:

You can’t use Effect Veiler while the opponent’s monster’s effect is already being negated. So if you summon Evilswarm Exciton Knight and activate its effect, and your opponent chains with Fiendish Chain, save your MST! You can then use Exciton’s effect again in a new chain and then chain MST, so your opponent can’t use Veiler at any point.

FINALLY WON!

The guy opened with no monsters except Odd-Eyes, so he set two and passed. I summoned Dark Law to pop his quickplay, and he spent a lot of resources removing Dark Law.

I unloaded on my turn un-opposed and managed to pick apart his field.



Lucky win. No doubt about it.

In the first image, how in the world did he end up with no cards in the Extra but only one Pendulum scale? Did he bounce the other one back to his hand somehow??

Unicorn only targets Pendulum Monsters in the Monster Zone. Not the Pendulum Zone.

There's a monster in the zone, you just can't see it. That guy was searching out Unicorn then he Tribute summoned it.

Still impressed he managed to accrue that many cards without you hitting his LP though. Then again, your Deck doesn't have any offensive power if it can't get its comboes off, iirc?

I have a lot of aggro offense due to the Shaddoll Dragons. But I had to funnel 100% resources into killing off his backrow. And it didn't help much because he'd just pendulum summon the next turn and add 2-4 more backrows.

Seriously, the deck is skull-fudgingly retarded. The monsters can't be disrupted at all, they turn into beaters with the field spell, they have chainable, powerful backrow and every monster is a Stratos, searching out S/T or stun monsters every turn.

It doesn't even need the Magicians. It's insane, and worse than Infernity looping into triple barrier..
