This feels rather reckless, but I will discard 2 cards from my hand and play Super Energy Retrieval in order to get some cards back.

Energy Evolution activated!
Coin flip; if Heads, search your deck for a card that evolves from Eevee that is the same type as the Energy card you attached to Eevee. Attach that card to Eevee. This counts as evolving Eevee. Shuffle your deck afterward. Tails No effect. Stark may continue their turn. |

And that's game.
Pointlessly attaching a Grass Energy to Erika's Oddish because it's all I can do. Gust of Winding your Lapras just as pointlessly. Arbitrarily picking Squirtle. Ending my turn. |

Turn 16
-Water Energy confirmed and attached to Squirtle

Stark may pick a prize. Talon has no more Pokémon to use as the Active Pokémon, which means Stark wins the match! Well that was a fast match. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on Talon's side this time around, leading Stark to a crushing victory. Congratulations! Stark may quote and reply to this post to pick up 5,000 coins OR 1 Candy and a Booster Pack 3 of their choice from the current available expansions from the TCG Palace. For good effort, Talon may quote and reply to this post to have 3 randomly selected common cards from an expansion of their choice from the TCG Palace. I hope your next match is a long one, looking forward to it! |

Bad luck indeed. I know Stark feels like he was getting screwed by the coin flips, but he really out to check out this match if he wants an example of truly "WTF" unlikely coin flip outcomes. It wasn't roses over here either: despite only having 21 Grass Energy in this build of the deck and having seven draw-engine cards, I think I drew something like 10 Grass Energies (draws + opening hand) and not once did I draw a single Prof. Oak, Elm, Bill, etc. Also, as you can see, I only drew two basic Pokémon all match despite having twelve basics in the deck, including a gutting opening of Erika's Dratini as my only basic squared off against your powerful Southern Islands Lapras. Yeah, this was really statistically frowny face inducing for me. ^^;; But I hope you had fun, Stark. I doubt I could've beaten your deck anyway without you having the same sort of bad luck you ran into coupled with some spectacularly nice draws on my part. Rain Dance decks are hard to beat, especially ones backed up by Computer Search cards and the like. *shakes fist* Congrats on your win, and I hope you get some great cards from your prize. |

Thank you for the congrats Talon. I know I made a major mistake at one point that could have changed the way the match went. I appreciate that you understood that this was a friendly game and let it go. I did have fun and honestly, I'm still fairly new to the card game, so every match I have is a learning experience for me. This one was no different. I learned a few things from you that I might not have figured out without playing, so for that you have my gratitude. Yeah the coin flips were a pain at times, but I really wasn't complaining so much as just shaking my head in disbelief at them. I know my first match I had, I had the bad luck in drawing cards much like you did this time around and I got stomped big time. So I can totally relate to how you felt. Anyway, if you ever want a rematch let me know, and I will be more than happy to have one with you. |
