So...PS2
Yeah, full disclosure: I don't have a PS2.
Anyway, as a gamer I've found myself in a bit of a conundrum. Obviously we'll have to see how E3 plays out but as far as games goes the Wii seems to have blown its proverbial load for the foreseeable future. I don't have a PS3 or 360 either, and at the moment I'm not particularly chomping at the bit to get either because the number of games I'm interested in playing relative to the price point on both is not exactly a solid ratio. So yeah, that means I'm looking at the PS2 to fill the summer gaming drought. Hey, when you can pick up a PS2 and several games for the price of a BROWN AND BLOOM IS NEXT GEN console it's hard to say no. So that means I need recommendations. Current games I'm thinking about: -God of War (1 and 2) -God Hand -Shadow of the Colossus -Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection (never played a MGS despite owning a PS1 =() -Katamari Damacy -GTA: San Andreas That's a short list I've come up with. Give me suggestions: about the only thing I won't really consider is FPSes and sports games.

I'd suggest getting Vice City, as well. It's a solid game and pretty damn fun.
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are also great games. Um. I'll think of some more as the days go on and let you know some more good games, Reed. xd it's late.

Popping in to say that Katamari Damacy is godsend.
It's pretty much the only reason I kept my PS2 for about 2 years. We Love Katamari is 20 times better, actually, and KD is one of my favorite games of all time to begin with. |
