Whew, glad I remembered Swalot Day before the three-day time limit ran out! I'd hate to deprive Crabbe of his yearly stash of gifts- or Captain Stomach of the chance to gain a new power or two, for that matter. Especially now that I can just straight-up make him able to fly.

There seems to be a few misunderstandings with the Halloween event that I think need to be cleared up.
1. Your trick/display will be conducted at a random residents house. 2. You are not to take yourself to the house and RP your trick/display. You are to practice your display how you wish it to be executed. Your update will consist of you randomly going to a house and putting on your display, for which you will be rewarded by the residents of said house. 3. Naru and myself will be rather accommodating with your tricks/displays. We will do our best to have them happen how you intend, unless their are extreme circumstances that require us to tone it down. There is 1 week left to get your submissions in, otherwise you will miss out. We haven't started the updates yet, so feel free to edit if you 'need' to. Feel free to PM me on here or DM me on Discord if you have any further questions or issues. Thanks |

Congrats, Emi!
In other news, this week's Monday errands comes with an evolution! Check it out! : *emits vibrations that convey extreme happiness* So yeah, that happened. And now that Tinnitus's Hydration has become Poison Touch, I felt it was high time to get him some contact moves, so he'll be spending the week learning Mega Punch. Also, as he's done in Daycare for the time being, that opened up a spot for Blinky to get in there, start leveling up. (nicknames: Tinnitus=Seismitoad; Blinky=Darumaka) |

From what I'm aware, the new SAT is just two sections out of 800 points each so Emi nearly aced the fucker.
Nice job!

Maskerade - Today at 5:55 PM
does a lv 13 Charmander learn Metal Claw via level-up, since it did in FRLG, or only via tutor? Ex-Admiral Insane - Today at 6:02 PM yes Any move a Pokémon would have learnt from earlier levels from ANY of the mainstream games will be automatically learnt by the Pokémon From the FB room in Discord. Looks like I'm gonna have a look through my team's movepools in older games. |

Interesting. I should look through my team's older movepools as well, though I'm guessing I got a good chunk of them covered already- looked up a bunch of them a long time ago, just to get ideas for free Move Tutor stays back in the old days. Already taught Violet Glare and Dudley Amnesia because they got them at earlier levels in previous games, but I gotta check for a bunch of the newer ones on my team...

Alright, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm going to assume the following to be correct;
1: A Pokémon learns a move at the earliest level it's been possible for it to learn throughout all generations. That is to say, a Starmie would learn Confuse Ray at level 22, the level at which it gets the move in B2/W2/X/Y. 2: Pokémon automatically learn the moves of their pre-evolutions by leveling up, meaning that a Normal Form Ninetales would learn Baby-Doll Eyes upon reaching level 9, as that's the level at which Vulpix gets said move. Now, with both those points in mind... *Andromeda learned Confuse Ray!* *Andromeda learned Psywave!* *Andromeda learned Gyro Ball!* *Andromeda learned Minimize!* *Anion learned Nasty Plot!* *Anion learned Entrainment!* *Artemis learned Confusion!* *Apamin learned Power Gem!* *Brighton learned Water Gun!* *Brighton learned Thunder Wave!* *Rowena learned Bite!* *Aria learned Stun Spore!* (nicknames: Andromeda=Starmie; Anion=Minun; Artemis=Shiny Dustox; Apamin=Vespiquen; Brighton=Chinchou; Rowena=Nidoqueen; Aria=Roserade) Last edited by Missingno. Yeah, I feel like this has been discussed a million times before, but it's probably one of the most vague rules in FB. A pokemon can learn its level up moves at the lowest level it learns that move in any particular gen, and evolved pokemon automatically learn level up attacks of their previous forms even if they don't learn it themselves.

Greatly appreciate the clarification. That being the case, I'm gonna start using Veekun's Pokédex for reference more often, as that details level-up movesets across multiple generations all on one page. Easier to compare them that way.
In fact, are we finally allowed to link to Veekun's Pokédex in lieu of Serebii's should we so choose? Tess never allowed it because... well, I don't think there was ever actually a good reason for it. |

I usually just roll with veekun. Ever since they updated to 7th gen it's been the best universal pokedex on the web, I think.

With that rule in mind (and from missing Gen 7 updates for certain Pokemon), that means...
New Move! Skarmory learned Metal Sound! New Move! Luxray learned Crunch! New Move! Dunsparce learned Glare! New Move! Dunsparce learned Ancient Power! New Move! Vibrava learned Fissure! New Move! Houndoom learned Feint Attack! New Move! Ponyta learned Quick Attack! New Move! Salamence learned Double-Edge! New Move! Tropius learned Bestow! New Move! Tropius learned Natural Gift! New Move! Milotic learned Aqua Tail! New Move! Froslass learned Confuse Ray! New Move! Froslass learned Headbutt! New Move! Froslass learned Protect!

To continue the sudden influx of new moves (I didn't even finish yesterday- I'm just picking up where I left off!);
*Chuck learned Dream Eater!* *Shelley learned Curse!* *Ruby learned Feint Attack!* *Dennis learned Seed Bomb!* *Gold learned Slash!* *Meowth learned Pay Day!* *Cyanide learned Covet!* *Huh? Nagini is refusing to learn Belch!* *Peeves learned Mean Look!* (Aaaand, just realized that I had him use Mean Look in a Secret Base storyline prior to this. >_<) (nicknames: Chuck=Gengar; Shelley=Torkoal; Ruby=Houndoom; Dennis=Venusaur; Gold=Feraligatr; Cyanide=Umbreon; Nagini=Arbok; Peeves=Dusknoir♂) |

See, now this is what you call an evopalooza. And after some discussion with the mods regarding why game freak are lazy, Nidorina and Nidoqueen are now in the same egg group as Nidoran-F and can thus breed. As they should have been allowed to in the first place. Last edited by Raves; 10-31-2017 at 04:07 PM. |

I’ve been debating if I should say anything, considering what few areas I’ve been posting in as of late, but I figured I should let you all know anyway. About 2ish weeks ago, my computer completely kicked the bucket. What this means is the only way I have access here is through my phone. Considering how unreliable posting on mobile is for me...that means it might take a while for me to get back to posting at a bit more of a regular pace. :/

Hope you can get your computer working again soon!
Looks like I have 3 more breeding slots left before the year ends... is anyone interested in breeding something I want in exchange for me breeding something you're interested in?

Sucks about your computer, ES. Hope you can get it working again (or a new one, whichever the case may be) soon.
In weekly shop-related news, Aster and Blinky are each up another level and a new move, with Aster learning Spike Cannon, and Blinky learning Rollout. And Brighton can now use Thunder Punch, just like his dad. Because did any of you really think I wouldn't be teaching the elemental punches to the son of Hebenon? (nicknames: Aster=Shiny Mareanie; Blinky=Darumaka; Brighton=Chinchou; Hebenon=Qwilfish) |
