And I'm really starting to whim for a Meowth now XD

I do still need a logo too though, I have an idea, but really no idea how to bring it to life.

All I'm missing is adding the bios/personalities of the members, and I'm done, logo included Although not needed, I also have another thing in mind to add that I'm working on... which I'll keep it to myself 'till I post it X)

BTW, is it me or does it almost seem almost like a competition between the members of a certain generation (Yes, similarly to One Piece). Or is June. 2012 and Jan, 2013 too far apart?

For that matter, does anyone else see members as grouped in certain 'generations'?
What I mean is; are there certain periods when a big influx of new (permanent) members arrive and might collectively be seen as 'the newbies', 'the advanced' or 'the veterans'. I'm sure I've explained it enough to be understandable what I mean to ask.

Absolutely.

• In my own mind's eye, there are "the newbies", who collectively are the members who signed up between January 1, 2012 and the present. These newbies are then split into two groups, "the experienced newbies" (who signed up between 2012/01/01 and, semi-arbitrarily, 2012/11/30) and "the newbie newbies" (who signed up between 2012/12/01 and the present).
• There are also "the veterans", who in my mind are any members who:
  1. have stuck with FB for at least three years, of which at least two of those years have to have been consecutive
  2. have gotten in at least three five different zone adventures (as the updatee, not as the updater), at least one campaign, and at least one Contest, race, or other festive event
  These are the members like Tess, Arc, emp, lilbluecorsola, Stark, and MM.
• Then there's "the quasi-veterans". There are two different groups of these:
  • members who are even older than Tess but who haven't done FB much in forever. This group includes people like Morg.
  • members who, regardless of FB age relative to Tess, are very old school but vanished ... and then came back and, upon coming back, have been very productive members of the community. This group includes people like Marion Ette.
• And finally ... there's everybody else. These are the people who aren't new enough to be newbies but aren't old or experienced enough to be veterans or quasi-veterans either. This is where I place myself.

So I've got at least four parent groups (newbs, vets, quasi-vets, and other), some of which in turn have their own child groups.

Am okay with this, though I don't think it fits quite right.

Then again, I don't really see the generations in the first place ^^; Although being in FB in a couple of months short of a year, I still feel a bit like a newb at times ^^; Even alongside with people that joined within the same time spot as I am!

I see you as more of a quasi-veteran or an other, so I'd probably have to tweak my criteria some then. You were here for 2+ years in a row? Maybe I need to increment that to 3 ... or maybe I just need to increment the number of adventures experienced ...

EDIT: post has now been edited. Specifies five zone adventures (as opposed to three "RP experiences") plus at least one campaign plus at least one Contest, race, or other "festive event". (Meant to include things like the Pokéringer tournament.)

Aye. Late 2007 - Early 2010. Then I disappeared for a little under two years and now I'm back for the past year and a half.

I've also been in multiple adventures, though all the logs on them are long since dead.

I still think of emp, Hayward, and Stark (though I actually would've pegged the latter as an older member) and others of their gen as "newbie-esque" compared to how long I've been here (no offense intended), so it's sorta weird for me to see them as mods now. They grow up so fast. *sniff*

Last year, there was a race for who would unlock PC first, which Uhhhhh (I think) won among those of us who joined in the first part of 2012, so yes.

I see it like this too, though I also see the different forums we join on as different nationalities too ^^
