And who knows? If all goes well, you may even find it in you to explore the rest of Fizzytopia in due time!

The landscape before you is truly idyllic, thousands of flowers in full bloom of myriad colors. You step around carefully, wary of stepping on any Egg hidden under the rainbow sea of petals. Which is why it comes as a great surprise something seems to bump into you instead.

You drop to one knee to look closer. Beneath a patch of lovely yellow daisies you find a very restless Egg, dark gray on its upper half and light gray on its lower one, lightly hopping around. On closer inspection, there are two small yellow dots on the shell as well. Eggs aren't usually this lively unless they're about to hatch, and they certainly don't tend to jump at people... what kind of creature could be lurking within?

Will you take this one?
Karmas looked at the egg before him. It appeared to be hopping in place... which wasn't exactly something he thought that eggs were known to do. But then again, the Springtide Isle didn't exactly seem to be a place that worked through things like 'logic' and 'rational thinking. He turned to Halazia.

"What do you think Hala?" Karmas asked, "Reckon this egg will be a good fit for our team?"

The pidgey flapped his wings and floated down to the egg. He hopped around, cooing and every so slightly gently tapping it with his beak. After about a minute, Halazia flapped back up to Karmas' shoulder and rubbed his head against his trainer's cheek.

"Well then, that's that," Karmas said. "Guess we are taking this egg, back with us. Wonder what its going to hatch into?"

Before you even reach the shrine, you can hear the sound of revving engines, and puffs of exhaust rising from over the hills, where massive racing flags serve as a beacon to all cycling enthusiasts. You find the statues housed within an unusual temple, where arches of steel are airbrushed in glittery, metallic hues. The adherents of their religion wear not robes but leather jackets and sleek helmets—their offerings drenched in grease and gasoline.

Though it was a longshot, you decided to walk around the area and see if you could find anything. Cycling memorabilia was scattered around everywhere depicting Koraidon and Miraidon, but none of them felt particularly ancient. Perhaps because these Pokemon were only recently discovered...

Turning over as many rocks as possible, though, you wander far enough afield to find a junk-filled ditch running along the backroad where people have been racing their rumbling machines. Something beneath the pile catches your eye, and as you inspect it you find a Pokemon egg nested underneath! The body of the egg is hot pink, with a grey diamond resting in its center.

Do you take this egg?

Raymond Looks toward the lone nested egg and takes a moment to think about it. Before standing back up and dismissing it as it just did not tickle their fancy.
They take the time to wander around some more before opting to take a change of scenery and begin ascending a path that starts to get really toasty.
"I wonder what could be up here?"

Though, your ground-type Pokemon seem to be acting a bit... odd here. Something was lurking deep beneath the earth, but what? Was it the Cyclizer zooming around, dropping off eggs everywhere? Or something much more... aberrant? Who knows! Your narrator certainly doesn't.

Anyways, you soon find yourself in a small crevice, with pillars of rock jutting out of the ground. They almost looked like... flower stalks? And affixed to one of these pillars was a lilac egg, almost bulbous in nature. It looked to have taken "root" into this pillar, and was waiting to hatch and bloom into a beautiful flower. Looking closer at this lilac egg, you see a flower design on the top of the egg. Each "petal" was a vibrant royal blue, and perfectly triangular in every way. And in the middle, you could feel that it was almost staring at you. Well, it was ripe for the picking. The real question now was:

Do you take the egg?
Looking up at the strange Egg, Liawe couldn't help but feel a strange sense of... revulsion. The imitation of plant life in such a barren landscape, and the overwhelming sense of death flowing from the eerie structure... It just felt wrong, on so many levels. Swiftly turning, she left the cavern, returning to the impact crater to seek new grounds. Ones that hopefully wouldn't make her feel as nauseous, though that might've been from the unseen petal shards stabbing through the soles of her shoes...

As Vulthuryol descended once more towards the island, Liawe breathed a sigh of relief. Mostly that she'd packed alternate footwear, something had gone clean through the bottom of her other trainers. Hopefully anything she trod on here would be a little less damaging, unless she had the brazen misfortune to find an Egg beneath her feet. The branches underfoot proved sturdy enough, and as Vulthuryol dove through the canopies, she and Sheut ventured forth in search of further eggs, the little Baltoy not overly caring for the altitude that had driven the Drilbur quivering back to his Pokeball. Turns out moles don't like climbing trees and would vastly prefer keeping their feet on the floor. Or maybe it's a Ground type thing, who knows. Regardless, levitation certainly made light work of the aerial tree paths, whereas Liawe was forced to hop from branch to branch on occasion, stopping only to pilfer a pair of Pecha Berries to assuage the growing numbness in her foot. It was a long way to the Pokemon Centre, after all.

Despite the surrounding smog blotting the overhead sky, the relentless dry heat of the surroundings constantly assails the young girl drudging her way up the rugged slope. Crumbling rocks crunch underfoot, and Connie can only grimace as she slips now and then, her boots proving their practicality yet again. The trainer didn't even want to begin to consider how difficult this particular hike might be had she come a little less prepared - no doubt she would have been forced to turn back lest she risk serious injury. With a heavy sigh she wipes at her brow, wondering whether her trip would be a fruitful one. After the regionwide announcement, scores of trainers had begun to pour into these new locales in search of new discovery, so competition was fierce and there was always a chance she had appeared too late. It was for that reason, in fact, she had chosen the volcano; a calculated risk that she was hoping would pay off, Connie had surmised that the hostile environment may have forced away all but the toughest of trainers.

Not that she counted herself among those. Maybe just a little more willing to throw herself head first into questionable circumstances.

With a shrug, she reaches for her pack, pulling out a brilliant pink ball. Lobbing the Fairy Ball high, Connie smiles as Victory springs forth, the Clefable hanging mid air before fluttering down to her trainers side. Cocking her head, the Clefable looks on questioningly, wondering why exactly Connie was exposing herself to this arduous task.

"Look, I promise it'll be worth it. Probably. For now, can you use Life Dew to do some temperature control while we keep moving? I'd appreciate it."

Victory gives a tittering chuckle before a welling dew begins to form across her skin, the Clefable scattering moisture every now and then as the pair resume their travel.

And at the same time, a certain sense of self-ridicule for thinking that statues of a motorbike lizards would be the right place for such a prayer. Annoyed at your current situation and whatever ghosts may haunt you, you decide you need some time alone. Lucario and Gallade handle are left to their own devices and their own faiths. You need a break.

Aimlessly, you wander about the Shrine, ignoring the eager Trainers that run about in their Egg hunt. Fun as that may be, your mind was elsewhere. Which is why you almost pay it no mind at first, and only do so once your brain registers the sheer strangeness of the situation - a Pokemon Egg, dark green in color with two black stripes, comes literally rolling toward you at high speed, before making a sharp turn and narrowly crashing into a nearby wall, before coming to a ful stop a few feet away from you. This is... not usual Egg behavior, to say the least. Whatever lies within must be particularly lively.

Will you take this Egg?
Lucas gave a surprised yelp. He barely had time to register the barrelling orb that came at him as he dived for nearby cover. ’What on Earth was that?’ The strange creature had turned tail and crashed itself into a nearby wall. ’Well that was stupid, he remarked from his cowering state. ’What on Earth dashes so haphazardly they crash into a wall? He took his moment to consider approaching the strange creature.

He finally dared himself to get near it, and upon closer inspection found it wasn’t just a thing, it was an egg! It was a murky, dark green with two thick black stripes like tires. Were these the strange eggs of the Pyukumuku he had heard of? They certainly are as odd as people say if they can move around like that. Whatever it was that got its motor running, the egg lay still now. ’Better to just leave it.’

He took a few steps around the altar, then stopped and sighed. He turned back, carefully picked up the egg and looked for something soft nearby. ’Some grass or cloth would do.’ He nestled the egg gingerly, hoping it wouldn’t rush shell-first into danger so suddenly again. Doubtful, but maybe he could obstruct it at least a little.

“Now stay there,” he spoke to the thing. “I’m sure some other trainer will come by to pick you up sooner or later.” He backed up slowly, keeping his eyes on the egg. Once he was confident the egg wouldn’t chase after him again, Lucas continued his walk on the altar grounds.

Ex-Admiral Insane:

Startled at first, you quickly regain your composure and decide to take the hyperactive egg someplace safer, in case its resident decided to go for a quick race again. You decide to leave it be, perhaps put off by its un-egg-like behavior, and continue to explore the altar at your leisure.

Wary of any other high-speed objects rolling in your direction, you wander about while collecting your thoughts. When this journey across Springtide Isle ends and Pyukumuku returns home, where will you go next? Might mainland Fizzytopia be your next destination? As you ponder on the matter and whatever others that haunt you, something stands out through the corner of your eye. A speckle of color so contrasting with its surroundings, it’s a miracle nobody had spotted it first. You approach it almost instinctively. It is decidedly very, very pink, and mostly immobile as proper Eggs should be. Sure, there is a spot of grey in the middle, a dash of lighter pink at the very top, but what stands out is definitely all the hot pink going on across most of the shell. And you can’t quite tell why, but as you approach it, something tells you many other Trainers would kill for such a find around these parts.

Will you take this one?

PikaGod:

You have a good feeling about your very first find. Maybe something about how energetic it seems to be? Just to be sure, you have your Pidgey weigh in on the matter. Halazia flies down from its shoulder perch and approaches the shell, probing it with its beak, and finally appears to give you its approval. That is, at least, your interpretation, and not that the bird might just want to eat the Egg’s contents – after all, it is at that very moment that the shell begins to crack warm light escaping from within, until it bursts open to reveal…

Congratulations! You hatched a Level 1 Female Nymble!

That would explain all the hopping and jumping from before – the Paldean-native insect has a particularly well-developed third pair of legs, and something tells you it packs a kick! Nymble stretches its limbs before locking eyes with you; it appears nervous, restless at first, but it quickly seems to warm up to you. You are, after all, the very first thing it has seen in life. With a single, might hop it lands directly on your head and happily uses your hair as its very first nest. Sounds like the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

And just then, as if summoned by some strange spring magic in winter, it appears from beneath the sea of flowers: the Springtime Pyukumu emerges, intestine-turned-hand holding something in its visceral grasp. An offering to you - a Paldean gemstone known as a Tera Orb.

Your journey to the Isle has proven fruitful indeed!

((Brief as it was, I hope you enjoyed your time in Springtide Isle and your new companion!))

"Ladies aaand gentlemens! It’s time for the Iono Zone!"

"Hey, hey, heyyy!"

"Your eyeballs are MINE—caught in my Electroweb! Whosawhatsit? Iono!"

"Why on earth would anyone watch this..."

Jess stared in confusion at the animated figure waving oversized sleeves about on her (rather outdated) PokéGear screen, perplexed by such manic pixie behavior as a pair of pink and blue Magnemite hairpins(?) orbited the digital gremlin's head. Beside her Lance the Roselia raised an annoyed bloom to his mouth to indicate silence, eagerly watching the energetic icon whirl around to introduce a second character to the show as she strutted confidently into view on impossibly high purple platform heels; perfectly poised pace and graceful gait clearly practiced from years of modeling down a runway, shifting the weight of her walk to emphasize her hips and stunning lavender dress's skirt as it flounced and flowed, adorned with fluttering wings like a Finneon's tail.

"Today we've got a special guest star collab: The lovely Miss Tulip of Alfornada City! Say 'ello 'ello, hola, ciao and bonjour to all my- I mean, our adoring fans out there!"

"Greetings, everyone~ It's a pleasure to be here. Today I'll be showing off some simple makeup and fashion tutorials, so that you too can let your inner beauty shine..."

Jess quickly found herself even further flummoxed and bored by the fashionista's endless list of "must-know beauty tips", but the flower next to her seemed to be having fun, absolutely transfixed on the diva's demonstrations as he diligently took mental notes, dreaming of becoming a popular makeup artist and clothing designer himself someday. Even if the girl didn't really understand much of the world of fashion - caring little for her own image and prioritizing comfort and practicality over style - seeing her teammate so enamored with something she could at least respect and appreciate the amount of effort that went into maintaining one's appearance. It was simply another form of "art" after all, by utilizing one's own body as a canvas to craft masterpieces and express emotions externally through them. So she shrugged and settled in for the long ride to Springtide Isle once again, leaning against her Lapras's neck as she dutifully kept the PokéGear propped up for her partner to see. (Perhaps she should really invest in one of those newfangled "Rotom Phones" that could automatically self-sustain elevation at eye level - to the point she'd heard they could even come in handy preventing accidents from falling off heights, being made of material apparently strong enough to bear the load of a small child - but she was old-fashioned and stubbornly set in her ways.)

The next video in the playlist in fact captured her attention more, as it broadcast an interview this time with Brassius, a renowned artist of the region as he spoke candidly about the creative process behind his works. Jess felt she was beginning to recognize why the Roselia was so fascinated by Paldean culture and practically begged to come along on this outing, keen on absorbing its aesthetic to serve as inspiration. She smiled as she was able to share in his enthusiasm for admiring the man's magnum opus: a sculpture entitled "Surrendering Sunflora", a somber piece born out of sickness and desperate cries for acknowledgment - yet only by casting all hope and fear aside could he summon the courage to depict what his heart truly desired, rather than focusing on what would net him fame or fortune.

Before she knew it, they had arrived at their destination. Jess stretched her sore limbs from keeping the device lifted in the same position for so long, before pocketing it and hopping off Tessie's shell onto the shore. It seemed like only yesterday she had been here, but due to the strange space-time distortions the place looked very different back then. Now that the rift had seemingly repaired itself for the most part, the environment appeared restored to relatively familiar scenery. ...Well, except for a giant gleaming crystal peeking out from a crevice formed at the peak of the island, having crashed as a result of the paradoxical storm migrating to the top of the mountain. Like both a bygone and foretelling dream, planting eggs all about the area for Trainers to find once more. (All that was missing was an avian herald, although she'd heard Corviknight in particular were not welcome in the skies above Paldea for some reason.) What a way to welcome the New Year...

After helping her floral friend down, she turned back to Tess and patted her in thanks as always.

"Feel free to explore around the water as usual. We'll come find you when we're done."

The Lapras crooned and nuzzled her human's hand, before taking off to sail a standard course of laps through the shallows surrounding the isle. Nodding to Lance, Jess let him lead the way as the two tourists set off across the sandy beach in search of whatever "treasure" they may find...

Last time, Springtide Isle and its magical Pyukumuku had seen fit to reward you wtih a new friend, special in more ways than one... but that was then. What will fate have in store for you this time around?

You make your way along the docks, stands lining the streets on both sides, sounds of merchant chatter and price haggling all around you. That's not what you're here for, though. You feel the call of something else, subconsciously blocking out all noise regarding magical necklaces, fresh tails of Slowpoke, candy bars filled with rage and the sort. But then, one voice pierces through all the others, because that one matters.

"Hey, you there! You look like you could use a new companion. How about taking a gander at this here Egg?"

It's not just the vendor's voice, you quickly realize, or the wares he's peddling, that make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. It seems to be the very Egg itself, orange in color and with two yellow circles roughly in the middle.

Will you take this one?
The rather electrifying egg held no interest to them, and they just brushed the man off. This was not what they were searching for here, no, not at all. Why break free from the cycle already? There was only one type. One true type, that they would train. That they would see grow, and become even stronger. Even if it took a stone to unlock that truly hidden potential. No, there was no such call from such an egg.

Waiving off the rather eccentric shopkeeper, they continued to wander the market stalls. They could feel something that was here for them, and if it was such a pleasant daydream, surely they would find it... Right? If this liaison was meant to be a reprieve, they should at least make it an enjoyable one. The fog... it was getting worse. Even now, here and then, they could feel the fog choking the life from the land. How did they become in tune with this...anyway? This melancholy, they knew it well. No point in fake bathing themselves in blood. No point... no point at all. But, there was one person they'd need to contact before falling back asleep... But, for now, onto the next egg.

Springtide Updates!

King Salmon:

Disdain filled your mind as you realized that they reached out to every trainer within Fizzytopia... As you encounter "Ironclad". After some brief catching up, he seemed to guide the way through to the Shrine, seeking a drink. Whether or not that was actually possible here you followed stout regardless.

Some emotion reached through to an egg tucked away within the shop's baskets. One feeling went through the strongest, the desire to find. This in turn caused the egg to react despite being unable to do much it seemed it felt the need to be found.

You heard the softest of rustling noises, that your brother didn't seem to notice. Curiosity peeked and you decided to slip away to see what you could find that made your interest pick up. It didn't take long for you to stumble across the egg, and wow it was Black. It seemed to have orange circular markings on either side of the egg with green running around the orange markings under the side of the egg. You could feel the thrum of energy as the egg seemed pleased it was found. What would you do?

SixDragons:

Four Long Years since you arrived on the shores of the Springtide Isle, and it feels vastly different from the last time you approached the island and found your Centiskorch just an egg. Now comes the time for the cycle to begin anew. As you disembarked combing the rocky cliff shore upon which you landed, you couldn't help but feel excited. A sense of mystery filled the air as you searched for your new partner friend that undoubtedly awaited within the confines of the island.

Sounds woke up the pokemon within its egg and it groaned. Reacting to the sound either in a good manner or in disdain for disrupting its peaceful warm slumber, none could say for it didn't care the moment it made the sound. Trying to get comfortable to sleep again the egg accidentally dislodged itself from its hiding spot and rolled forward.

An orange/cream egg with red circular markings rolled about making its presence known to you. An Interesting egg this one was for it was already active despite not having been hatched yet, as it rolled to a stop at your feet seemingly done for the time being. It did not take you very long at all to find this egg you surmised. What would you do?

OkikuMew:

Rosie was energetic and having said that, it was an understatement and you couldn't help but laugh as the Galarain Ponyta pranced about happily investigating with its trainer. This house held history and you could feel it, secrets and whispers reached out to you calling you to investigate further within its confines. What had happened here? No one really truly quite knows, at least there are not those alive today that can share the story and secrets behind the house and its mystery.

The spirits that lingered in the area watched on in glee as they watched the Pony pokemon seek about their home, and they felt complied to help it. They reached out to you and your partner and pushed you in the direction of an egg, unbeknownst to you, however. The egg in question was quite comfortable here, it liked where it had been laid, not wanting to really move if it had to. But, the spirits had other thoughts in mind and aided the baby within to glow, shining its egg and casting a beacon upon which for you to stumble and find.

A yellow and brown egg with a purple triangle marking and pink stripe glowed before you, soft but vibrant.
What would you do?

"Oi! 'Eck are ye doin' just starin' at the damn thing?" Brandt's loud, booming voice echoed across the Shrine. He was obviously annoyed, which must mean he hadn't found anything to drink yet. Arne rolled his eyes.

I've never seen this pattern before. I... have no idea what Pokémon might be inside. Should I take it? Its mother doesn't seem to be anywhere nearby. But what if it's not right for me? I've taken such great care selecting my partners so far...

He dropped to one knee, analyzing the odd shell. Black, orange and green. He felt a sort of royal presence within, but incomplete at the same time. What was he to do?

He then remembered something that might help. Silly superstition as it might be, it was his best option short of... ugh, asking for Brandt's opinion. And so, he reached for his Bag, and retrieved a strange-looking Twisted Spoon. Holding it in his left hand, he placed his right one gently on the Egg. Closing his eyes, he focused, hoping to glean something, anything that would help him choose.

.... No. This is not the one.

He didn't know how he knew, but deep down, he did. Whether that odd Spoon had anything to do with it or not, he felt guided in some way.
And so, he moved on, searching for a new Egg, if another one was even to be found anywhere.

Lil'twick:

Even from a glance, you can tell this is not the Egg for you. Something about the energy it radiates gives off the wrong vibe - only one Type calls out to you, and this is not it.
Deciding to prolong the dream a bit longer, you keep on searching, hoping to somehow feel the right companion calling out to you. A call that might be a tad hard to hear, what with all the loud haggling going on around you. The Market might not be the best place for quiet introspection, it turns out.

"Hey! Hey you! Lookie here, look what I found!"

You are suddenly stopped in your tracks by... a child. A young girl looks at you excitedly, holding something in her hands, practically shoving it in your face.

"I found it in that stall over there! Don't tell the lady I took it please, she's gonna be really mad! But it's soooo cuuute, right? Ever seen one like this?!"

What she has in her hands is, you have to admit, rather... unique. It seems to be an Egg, but at the same time... two of them? It's as if two identical Eggs had collided into one another, creating a single, heart-shaped white shell. Is this even possible? How did the Eggs fuse together in the first place? Were they two separate Eggs to begin with, or were they laid like this from the start? Mysteries only the Springtide Pyukumuku may be able to answer, but that one's not talking, for all the gut-spilling it routinely does.

Will you take this one?

A call that might be a tad hard to hear, what with all the loud haggling going on around you. The Market might not be the best place for quiet introspection, it turns out.

"Hey! Hey you! Lookie here, look what I found!"

You are suddenly stopped in your tracks by... a child. A young girl looks at you excitedly, holding something in her hands, practically shoving it in your face.

"I found it in that stall over there! Don't tell the lady I took it please, she's gonna be really mad! But it's soooo cuuute, right? Ever seen one like this?!"

They furrowed their brow on seeing the rather... chimeric-looking egg. Eggs? There were already too many mice in the kitchen, adding another pair would only make things worse. So, ignoring the little girl entirely, they make their way forwards. Surely the smell of freshly baked goods would attract them? Or that they would just end up washed away, given an egg by the Pyukumuku they would get rid of, for it not meeting their needs. Surely they wouldn't have appeared here if not for the call of the fey...

Regardless, they were starting to feel tired. This would be the last egg they would be able to find. The last chance they actually had. Perhaps luck would be on their side, perhaps not, but they would soon have to sleep here after. And, perhaps due to that need to sleep, everything was starting to feel hazier and hazier. Only time would really tell...wouldn't it? If this next, and final, egg, had what they wanted...

The girl looks at you quizzically as you simply walk past her, ignoring her entirely, nonchalantly leaving her and the strange twin egg behind. Not that you care, but she's probably not that upset, considering she gets to keep it. Unless she's found. Not your problem.

You keep searching, a single target in your mind. You block out the voices - that's not the sense you need sharpened. Eyes peeled, you scan your surroundings, the trinkets and decorations spread across countless stands. Nothing registers as noteworthy. Until you feel something touch your feet. Looking down, you see it - an Egg that must have come rolling from somewhere, not standing immobile right in front of you. An Egg with the wrong color. You immediately know what this is. You...

"Oh, come back here! I was the one who found you! Hey you, don't get any funny ideas, I just dropped it okay?!"

A teenager dashes right in front of you, swooping up the Egg and running off with it, visibly proud of his find. That one wasn't mean for you.

And then it hits you: just as you've had to ignore the sounds assaulting you from every angle, maybe your eyes aren't the right tool either. Not for the specific thing you're after. So you inhale deep - and faint as it is, it's definitely there. The right scent. You just have to follow it.

It's not far. Actually, it's just a little bit further ahead - the unmistakable odor of freshly baked goods. You never would've paid that particular stall any mind otherwise - inconspicuous, barely drawing a crowd - but it's there. Right next a tray of cookies, a very special kind of thematic ornament: a large Egg in two different tones of yellow, radiating a frankly mouth-watering scent...

"Oh? Hi there! You look hungry my friend - here, have a bun on the house! Oh, that's... not what you're after, is it? Well... I suppose you can have the Egg then, it's not like it's pulling in any customers on its own..."

As if reacting to your very presence, the Egg begins to shake and crack open. It smells amazing. And then, in a burst of light, it reveals itself:

Congratulations! You hatched a Level 1 Female Fidough! It knows the Egg Moves Sweet Scent and Wish!

Immediately, the pup leaps toward you, ready to shower you with flour and affection. And speaking of flour, an unsettling large white hand suddenly pops up from one of the flour bags behind the counter, holding a glimmering gem in its grasp before tossing it toward you. That's unmistakably a Tera Orb!

Your journey to the Isle has proven fruitful indeed!

((Brief as it was, I hope you enjoyed your time in Springtide Isle and your new companion!))

Leo made their way into the baked goods shop, memories of the past on their mind. This was the place they had found Meringue... of course, they should've come here. Each step was heavy though, as tiredness was racking their body. Perhaps a cookie for the road? No, that would just cause the allergies to flare up. The smell alone was starting to get to them, but that was fine. They knew that they would eventually wake up from this dream once more. Dream within a dream... To fall awake, and rise asleep.

They look at the egg in awe, before seeing it hatch before their eyes. Seem this little one was ready, wasn't it? A dough blob of a dog raised up, tipping on seeing her new owner. She tackled them and started to give small kisses all over their face. She was a perfect ball of dough, and they had just the treats ready for her.

Digging through their bag, they take out their Dog Treat, feeding it to the little doughy dog. She barks happily, feeling an incredible bond with her new trainer while doing so. In addition, she looked stronger. Still feeling she needs to be stronger, Leo grabs a dog bowl and places twenty candies inside for her to munch on.

The owner just looks at them confused, but shrugs. Not like anyone else was here at the moment. They just sit down and hear their phone buzz. Well, more like the Rotom Phone flies in front of their face, and they just tap the accept call. This was a voice they'd been wanting to hear for a bit.

"Leo!?" a concerned voice from the other line.

"Hey, Avery..." they just respond back, awkwardly.

"Oh good... You're alive. I just... you told me you were going to investigate the fog, and then you ended up disappearing. I know you sometimes need to go off the face of the planet, but I saw on social media you were on Springtide Isle... Are you returning home?
" their boyfriend begins to just ramble and rant. Leo knew how bad Avery's abandonment issues were due to what happened with Ethan...

"Not yet, I don't think? I woke up here... and am feeling awfully tired again... Like, this is meant to be a quick siesta in my investigation," they reply.

"Well, you're safe. That's what matters to me. Though, you sound different somehow. Are you sure you're okay?" he asks of them, still concerned.

"I'm just... really tired is all. Right, I have a new Pokemon. Her name's Croissant, and she's just-" Leo started to talk about the Fidough who they were pumping with candy.

A flash of white light soon permeated the shop, causing them to stop talking for a bit as they watched the Fidough begin to evolve. Sure, they weren't going to complain over it. After all, this would need to happen sooner rather than later. In the small, doughy dog's place a loud, excited bark happened. A well-baked, taller dog soon took her place, and the Daschbun looked at her owner with excitement.

"Just evolved, huh? Well, she might not be a ball of dough anymore, but she's as well baked as her namesake," Leo chuckles, the first smile they've had this entire excursion on their lips.

"That's good and all..." Avery trailed off. "But when can I see you again?"

"I don't know Avery. Soon, I hope, but I think that my investigation will be a while longer. I'll come back as soon as I can, I promise," Leo states. Avery just tells them to be careful, and thankful for the effort, before hanging up.

The Daschbun then comes up to her trainer and gives them a nuzzle on the face. Seems it was time to go, wasn't it? Putting her into her Pokeball, Leo watches as it zips away home. He sends Ethan a text to let the dog out of her ball so she can acclimate, before feeling sleep paralysis crawl up his legs. It was time to go for now, wasn't it?

"Hope the siesta was worth it, my King. Now, let us resume the matters at hand..." the voice from before echoes through their hand... as they fall asleep at the table. Their leg manages to jump up and kick the chair they were on, and they start falling... Back into the void that they first came in from, vanishing away from the Springtide Isle. Straight into the fog, in order to find their sword.

OOC: Claiming this good girl! Feeding her a Dog Treat and 20 Candies, which pushes her to Level 26, and evolving her. Thank you for the updates King Salmon!

Litwick Releash your inhibitions

Marion Ette-

You make your way through the crystals once again, deciding that the egg would serve as nothing more than a salt lick. Well, at least your "Tauros" decides it would be a salt lick, at any rate. Perhaps it was your ideal need for a diamond in the rough that you wanted to find something more dazzling? Well, it wouldn't take too long to find it. For there was a big hole that looked like it would be filled to the brim with the jewels you'd been looking for!

You soon find yourself in a small crevice, with pillars of rock jutting out of the ground. Well, it was ripe for the picking, and by the footprints around it, someone else had already passed this one up. Though you could feel it in your bones this was the final choice. The real question now was:

Do you take the egg?

Ironthunder-

Deciding to not take the flowering egg, you call on your flying steed to take you out of the caverns. You then land in the nice berry tree canopy, where things seem to smell a lot like oil and paint... Huh. That was odd. Wasn't this supposed to smell like berries? Perhaps these were new Paldean berries? Oh well! It was time to hunt and see if there was an egg here that would be just to your liking.

Walking through the trees you soon find yourself looking at a rather brown-looking egg. By the way, did you know that Brown isn't a real color, and is instead a dark orange? Anywho, this brown egg had a pattern on the front that looked to be a black muzzle, and atop it a yellow that looked like hair. Circling around the back of the egg, you could see this "hair" trail down its back all the way to the bottom, where it seemed to be forming a tail for the real thing. The egg itself seemed to be putting on a show that it was strong, but really it looked more stupid than anything else. At least, you feel, this egg would be one that would protect you no matter what, despite the appearance, it gives off. Though, you had a feeling this would be the last choice you could make. The real question now was:

Do you take the egg?

Connor-

Determined to find an egg in these rather... hot conditions, you make your way up the Volcanic path. Your Clefable trails behind you, using its move ocean to make sure you stay cool as you traverse these rocky paths. What kind of pokemon you'd find? Well, the obvious thing to think about would be fire-types. Though, perhaps things there would be more than just those of a fiery nature.

You then start hearing a humming noise... and look around. Over a rock, you see a bright red egg with a creamy stomach. Seems the humming noise was coming from it. Walking up to it, you can see the egg seems to have a rather derpy quality to it, some kind of unmistakable charm that the mon within certainly had. Not to mention, there were two orange hairs sticking out from the egg that looked to be on fire. The egg then turns to look at you, the humming noise starting to intensify. Looks like whatever was in this bad boy would be an eloquent vocalist when they got older. And besides, that charm was surely unmistakable, right? Even your Clefable started to hum along to the egg's song. The real question was:

Do you take the egg?

Bill was set to go to the Shrine of Past and Future but he learned that it was changed into a motorbike shop his interest faded almost instantly. Instead he decided to check out the waterfall instead. At the very least he might find a hidden cave to chill at. Plus it had been a while since he last went to a water area with his mostly water-typed team. After going through some particularly thick brush at the bottom of the falls he eventually arrived with all its beautiful glory.

His eyes peered over the crystalline clear water eying up and down for something to catch his attention. Upon seeing several pools around him, he pulled out a Cherish Ball and sent it into the water. "Swift, I choose you!" he said. The purple, rocky Finneon appeared not long afterwards. The fish starts splashing around, seemingly excited to stretch his fins. Swift turns back to his trainer with as big a smile as a fish could potentially give. Bill smiled back. "Come on, buddy, let's check this place out. Worst comes to worse we just get a relaxing day by a waterfall."

Bill stays near the shores of the bodies of waters to make sure that he sticks near his sent out partner while the Finneon leaps from pool to pool should he need to transition over but mostly stayed underwater keeping an ear out for his trainer to give some sort of order or potentially in some sort of danger.

Happening across the brown egg, Liawe was... More than a little disappointed. There was a strange aura from the egg, as if it was trying to be something it wasn't, but also attempting something that the previous impressions did not really imply it could do well. Sighing, Liawe grabbed another Pecha Berry and remounted Vulthuryol, soaring off to find a Pokemon Centre about the state of her foot, which was now an interesting shade of amber and possibly translucent.

Following her brief detour to get her foot healed properly at the Pokemon Centre, Liawe and Vulthuryol touched down by the river that would later become a waterfall. Once more, Sheut and Cadri came out to help scout, and as one who knew the Baltoy would expect of it, it took exactly six seconds from Liawe turning around for it to levitate the poor Drilbur and dunk him in the river. The statue had not counted on interference however, as Vulthuryol's screech alerted Liawe to the wrongdoing, and as the Baltoy hastily lowered the Drilbur to dry land, the Aerodactyl whacked the mischievous sod into the river with a well-placed smack from his tail. Hardly undeserved, but now Liawe had two Ground types to towel off before she could begin searching for the egg. Three was the rule, and this would be her third: the Bunyukumuku did not take kindly to those who scrounged for a fourth egg. She only hoped she found one before yet another one of her Pokemon took an unwanted dip in the river.

Litwick All that shimmers

Ironthunder-

Just deciding to not even interact with the previous egg, you make your way toward the seaside waterfall. Despite your team's usual antics, there was anxiety welling up within you. This was, after all, your final egg. What if you didn't like what you found? What if this wasn't the partner you dreamed about? Only the Springtide Pyukumuku knew, and you had a feeling it would shunt you out of its territory once you stumbled onto an egg.

You soon encounter a hot pink egg, nestled next to the water. You could sense untold energy coming from this egg, and what seemed to be a black beak painted onto it. Certainly not something you would expect next to the water... unless? Though, before you could even react, the egg was encased in a bright white light.

You hear a sparkling noise, before the cawing of a Flamigo. Looking at the creature, you notice its feathers are not the same hot pink as the shell encasing it. No, it was pale pink. Seems that for all your luck, you managed to obtain a Shiny Flamigo!

Congratulations, you have obtained a Lv. 1 Shiny Male Flamigo with EM Double Team!

You then hear an eruption from the water as the Springtide Pyukumuku comes in riding on a Cyclizer, it too wearing bunny ears. The Pokemon hands you your very own Tera Orb, before giving a piece sign and riding away on its vehicular lizard. Well, seems it was time to leave the island with your shiny bird in tow.

Gentle music rises from a nearby rock, causing Connie to stop in her tracks. Listening intently, the girl uses the sound to eventually pinpoint the location of the harmony, not entirely sure what to expect. As she clambers over the rock, she slips slightly, righting herself before coming face to... shell with the culprit. What she found was jarringly low on the list of potential guesses. Jiggling somewhat in time with the melody, a small egg shuffles as if to respond to the approaching trainer, the music rising in both tempo and decibel. A bemused stare slowly transforms into a uncertain smile before shifting into a full fledged grin. Whatever was inside the egg was clearly good natured and welcomed company, but more than anything Victory was already bonding with them, the Clefable gyrating and wiggling her way through the air as she hums along to the upbeat tune. The sight of the Cefable confirmed the racing thoughts of the trainer. Finally breaking out in a small laugh, taking Victory somewhat by surprise, Connie makes her decision. Victory grins knowingly as the trainer reaches her hand for the egg, stroking it before cradling it in her arms.

"Guess we've found a new partner, eh Victory?"

Connor-

Looking at your partner, you see the Clefable give you a reassuring nod. Yes, this was the egg to be chosen. So, with a confidant nod, you go to grab th egg. As you do, the egg begins to hatch, and everything begins to become warm. Bright, white lights fill the area as the Pokemon within comes into its brand new world.

Below you, a goofy crocodile gives you the widest grin it can, before humming its song. The Fuecoco, one of the Paldea's starter Pokemon, has sung a song of its approval towards you. The bright red lad then ran up to your Clefable, and hummed its song to her too. Yet, just as the Pokemon was about to continue, it suddenly lays on its stomach, determined to slack off now that is has a new trainer.

Congratulations! You have obtained a Lv. 1 Male Fuecoco with EM Slack Off!

Seems getting this little guy off the mountain may prove difficult, but wasn't that part of the fun? Though, before you could do anything, you hear the sounds of a revving engine. The Springtide Pyukumuku and its Bunny-Eared Cyclizer mount comes right in. As the sea cucumber gives you a drive-by, it plops a Tera Orb straight into your hands. You see it disappear up the mountain before it looks to... jump into the volcano??? Anyways, you, your partner, and the lazy little croc had a long road ahead of you.

Connie couldn't contain her amusement as the Fuecoco came tottering from within the egg, Victory peering over her shoulder with an expression of awe as the crocodilian emerged. The Clefable began to hum along once again, but found herself doubling over in mid air with laughter as the singer abruptly toppled over, lazily lounging around with a satisfied grin on its face. Stifling her own laughter, Connie muses on just how fruitful their expedition had been - short, but all the sweeter for it, what with the hostile conditions still assailing them. Retrieving a ball, she taps the Fuecoco on the forehead, smiling with genuine warmth as her new companion was sucked within.

Analysis of the far-flung locale known as Springtide Isle has been challenging to numerous factors. The isle is difficult to reach, with the only vessels capable of braving the currents often working elsewhere, and even then transport only occurs sporadically, with no more than a few sojourns annually if that. The island itself is also situated on a spacial anomaly, and frequently several sub-areas within will open and close, giving the isle the illusion of it being a living entity, and thus research on certain fauna becomes taxing. Then there is the Pyukumuku, a cryptid entity unlike many observed. Contrary to its regular kin, the sea urchin pokemon boasts truly incredible speed and power, capable of fending off some of Fizzytopia's most powerful entities, and speculation seems to suggest it draws this power from the isle itself.

Nevertheless, an opportunity to explore has risen, and study has begun during this fleeting moment. What discoveries are made in this time will give future endeavours much to consider, and aid in the resolution of the region's many mysteries.

---

Initial studies around the market reveals that the isle, as expected, supports itself through fishing and commerce. The waters, treacherous as they are further out, are much calmer deep within the confines of the isle, and the fluctuating nature of Springtide means there is always a varied selection of produce. One day the stalls teem with fillets of Remoraid and Miltank steak, the next it is Basculin and Gogoat on the meat stall, while another day's trinkets may stem from Carbink and Nidorino. Stranger yet are the residents of the town, who seem to not find the mysterious nature of their abode any different, and indeed their response to queries appeared to be of indifference. "What does it matter," they say, "if we mine for shards one day and tomorrow those shards are Sinnohan gemstones?" A curiosity indeed, yet not entirely alien compared to much of the commerce of our time.

---

Not too far from the marketplace lies a craggy coastline, its igneous rock formations supported by the looming mountain at the isle's heart confirming quite obviously that the isle is volcanic in nature, though the volcano itself seems to be quietly active. Research on the volcano will occur at a later date, but observations around this particular coastline suggest the island to be relatively youthful in the scheme of time, the oldest rocks estimating the age of the location to be around twelve million years. Yet, just beside these large rocks are chunks of stone which date centuries, intertwined with the old. The old and the new, combined with the recent sightings of the mythical Pyukumuku and its draconic cohorts preparing for another egg hunt to coincide with the government's lifting of the Paldean moratorium...it almost seems poetic. The sea salt on this coast tinges with a peculiar energy that seems to be beneficial for eggs, and with the many caves it seems suitable for a natural hatchery.

---

The forest of Springtide Isle has grown with some influence by the rainforests of the Arboreal Cradle, access to which has been closed for the indefinite future following a type III cataclysm event involving the guardian Zygarde. This influence is fleeting, for much of the trees within this particular forest have intertwining canopies which provide platforms for pokemon and humans, and many of these can be accessed easily by non-climbers through the use of friendly bird pokemon. The canopy itself is where we shall be spending some time, seeking to procure a potential specimen for further study. In spite of its lofty height, the canopy possesses many hollows and berry nodes, peculiarly several different species of berry seem to grow from the trees. These berries seem to possess a symbiotic parasitic relation to their host tree; in return for keeping their host safe from predation and disease, they are allowed to consume some of the nutrients the trees draw from the earth. An unusual relationship that benefits the berry plants more than their hosts, but several of the residential pokemon, as well as that enigmatic sea urchin, appear to use the boughs of the tree to stow eggs, and we will shortly commence a rudimentary search for a suitable specimen.

CyberBlastiose:

After losing interest in the Shrine, you decided to scout out the waterfalls. With your partner leaping from pool to pool, sticking close by to you in case you needed it, you scoured the waterfalls. You weren't pressed into finding anything right away and didn't mind if you spent the day relaxing by the falls.

The sound of the crashing water hitting the ground and shores was a seemingly relaxing sound over time the more you listened to it. Rhythmic and steady. Unchanging despite being constantly in a state of motion. A pokemon egg sat in one of the pools that you were rapidly approaching. It was content to float where it was, the water was perfect despite the temperature of the water being chilly.

Finneon stumbled upon the egg first before you happened to notice it, alerting you to its presence by calling out and splashing happily as it swam around the egg, inspecting it from all sides. The egg shivered in response to the unknown pokemon's presence in the outside layers of its shell. It seemed to be an Orange egg with darker orange patches across one side of the shell, whilst a white pouch could be found within the center. How peculiar, What would you do with it?

KingSalmon:

After reaching out and placing your hand upon the egg, somehow you felt that this wasn't the egg for you. The egg didn't seem to mind either way. It was just as content to stay out in the open. Someone would find it.

Making sure the egg wouldn't get trampled upon, you decided to leave it alone and continued to search the Shrine peeking through and around places that seemed to be big enough to house eggs whilst still not blatantly out within the open. It wasn't long before you chanced upon yet another pokemon egg. This one was rather unusual due to where it was hidden... if you could even call it hidden.

Its bright pink eggshell with a silver diamond marking within the center stood out quite vibrantly around the scrap metal that it was placed within. It seemed to have been placed within a scrap metal nest but that could just be the shape of the metal you supposed. This egg was surely different, but the big question is, was it the one for you?

Avalon tugged the jacket up higher upon his back and followed Luca through the caverns with each twist and turn. This was more like his brother's home, truly within the cold here. It wasn't for him, he was the child that preferred the woods, the desert... the warm kind. Despite being born within Twinleaf Town which was situated within a colder region, Avalon was like a lizard. He sought out heat rather than the absence of it.

Why did he come to this cavern in the first place? Oh right, it's because Luca led him here. He was actually going to go explore the volcano path originally but he was rudely dragged away by his partner Lucario to the exact opposite direction. However, Avalon knew it wasn't for good reason. He could trust his partner's Aura sensing skills and he felt fated to come here, and in turn, bring his trainer too. Oh well. No use crying over spilled MooMoo Milk now.

Luca felt something within here calling out, reaching to him through his feelers and he wanted to know what it was. It was a strange presence, now granted this whole island is currently overflowing with alien emotions, people, and pokemon, but this had sought him out. That is what intrigued him. Something like that only happened with his trainer's other pokemon. They all sought him out with the exception of Mark I. That was hatched with his trainer in another area. Luca kept turning and following the trail, but now it filled the cavern so it became hard to pinpoint, Not that he wouldn't try.

Lucas sauntered on in his dour mood. The promising fortune of gods and altars of were no longer helping and he felt he was at a loss. This was a desperate move anyway. ’Might as well have tried,’ was the reasoning. He stopped for a brief moment of respite and gazed at the statues of the Pokémon from a distance. His eyes fell to scanning the surroundings and fixed themselves on an oddity. There, tucked away in a corner, he could hardly have missed it; a bright pink, perfectly contracted with the more natural surroundings.

Before he even realised it he was taking his first wary steps towards the thing. It was another egg, just like the little racing demon that almost ran him over earlier, except this one was a bright pink and had a little diamond as adornment. From behind he heard the soft shuffle of his two Pokémon approaching, both Rags and Scraps having finished their prayers.

“No use, eh? Told you it was a waste of time.”

They didn’t react to this. The Gallade however came up closer to inspect, having found his trainer hunched over something.

“Gal?”

“It’s nothing. Let’s leave.” Lucas got up and urged them the other way but Rags wasn’t convinced. The Gallade looked past his trainer and approached the pink thing.

“Gal.”

Scraps now neared as well and saw the intensely coloured object. The Lucario was decidedly less troubled by the thing as he picked it up. “Careful!,” his trainer blurted out.

“Lu?” he inquired his trainer.

“It’s probably one of those eggs the Springtide Pyukumuku hid around the island. There should be more of them. Just put it back. One of the other trainers is sure to find it sooner or later. We’re not here for them anyway.”

His Pokémon protested, “Gal.” The Gallade indicated the area around them. They were alone and had been so for a while.

“This event lasts days,” he explained. “I’m sure the egg will be fine. The Pyukumuku will have considered this.”

The Pokémon exchanged a sceptical look with one another.

“Put it back,” he was clearly getting irritated at having to repeat himself.

“Gal.” / “Luc.” The Gallade denied putting back the egg, Scraps agreeing with his partner for once. Lucas’ expression changed to bitter frustration, gritting his teeth to prevent himself from shouting. He locked eyes with his Gallade. The two stared each other down, Lucas wanting to avoid the hassle of looking after another creature, Rags not wanting to abandon what may be a helpless Pokémon.

He took a deep breath, and exhaled slowly. They couldn’t afford to waste time on another Pokémon, but they also couldn’t waste time arguing here. Rags and Scraps bickered enough with each other already without him adding cause for another bout. “If you want to keep it, you’re looking after it.” His Pokémon rejoiced upon hearing their trainer concede. Lucas though was slightly miffed they had accepted his precondition. This was going to be a distraction for them.
