RBY Had Only 5 Types
Wow, I didn't know that the original games only had five types. Sure am glad that this Pokemon Expert reminded me that the five original types were "grass, water, fire, ice, and electric." Flying and Steel type are "modifiers" that came about later. Maybe at the same time, in Pokemon Ruby, which was the sequel to Pokemon Red.

Re: RBY Had Only 5 Types
I saw this and I was all "WTF? This guy has NO clue what he's talking about."
Pokemon is MUCH more complicated than a simple game of Rock Paper Scissors. |

Yeah!
It's Rock/Paper/Scissors/Baseball Bat/Sega Game Gear/Pringles Can/Pineapple Pizza/DVD-R/book/Happy Meal Toy/Boxer Shorts/Thermonuclear Device. Rock Paper Scissors indeed.

Re: RBY Had Only 5 Types
Heh, thanks for the list, Muyo. I saw "sega game gear" but read it initially as "Segata Sanshiro". And of course, Pokemon of his type would kick ass ... except against Sony types. ;)
