And next appears a Hitmonchan, who's ready to kick ass and take names. Hitmonchan charges at Krabby, who simply uses a Protect, to block the dozens of Cometlike Punches that are thrown at it. The shield falls as Hitmonchan is finished with its attack, and it shrugs before it watches Krabby charge recklessly in a Double Edge, dealing a good blow. The issue was that the recoil does what Marshtomp failed to do, and finishes Krabby off for this fight...

Results:

Krabby is unable to battle! Martz, next pokemon + Attacks if you please

Hitmonchan- a decent amount of damage, energy use was decent

Just wondering why protect continued to work after the first punch as comet punch is a series of punches while protect is designed to stop just one attack? also wondering why krabby was able to pull off protect beforehand while being very tired and hitmonchan being fresh with a level advantage plus the description of comet punch being quite quick.

1. The Comet Punch is just 1 attack, but it's the barrage of punches that constitute the attack, which is why the Protect blocked them all.
2. just bad luck really, it made sense, but just happened that Krabby was fast enough, barely. RNG wasn't happy.

Things get interesting as a Pidgey appears for Martz. Hitmonchan stares at it briefely, then prepares for later, Bulking itself Up. as it watches its muscles grow bigger and tougher, it suddenly notices something tapping it on the shoulder. He looks to see Pidgey. Confused for a second, he simply looks as he watches it point to something behind him. Looking away, he can only grimace as a solid slap to the head finishes the Faint Attack, dealing some damage to Hitmonchan itself. Regardless, Hitmonchan turns to see Pidgey high in the air, and glowing as it readies a Sky Attack at the fighter. Hitmonchan is ready, and prepares a Counter aura, but the RNG wasn't kind to Hitmonchan, as his Counter fails, and he gets slammed for quite a bit of damage, though Pidgey looks quite tired as the round ends...

Results:

Hitmonchan took a lot of damage, and is below the 3/4ths mark now. Attack is boosted as is defense, but energy use was pretty decent, but far less than his opponet.

Pidgey took no damage fortunately, but energy use was still very high, it's got plenty in the tank, if less than its opponet at the moment.

Pidgey somehow gets its Detect off to dodge the Thunder Punch, but besides of Hitmonchan's irratation, and the fact that it was getting tired from using so many high powered moves, and takes one to the kisser from Hitmonchan's Ice Punch. The bird gets up, and launches a Heat Wave into Hitmonchan's face, the fighter taking a soilid amount of damage, but still manages to stand quickly, though it looks more beaten than its opponet, it isn't panting as hard...

Results:

Pidgey took its first damage, on its way to the 3/4ths mark, energy use was high again, but the issue is that it may want a break soon.

Hitmonchan took a solid hit, but is still well away from the 1/2 mark, electric and ice energy took quite a hit, but it's got plenty left. Energy levels are far higher than Pidgey's

As it starts to fly up I want you to aim well and hit it with a Sky Uppercut then aim well again and use Stone Edge .

Pidgey begins to Fly up, but Hitmonchan was still really close to it, and its Sky Uppercut does a good amount of damage, though it knocks Pidgey well out of reach for its next move. Pidgey grins before launching a blast of Swiftly flying stars at the fighter, dealing a decent amount of damage. However, Hitmonchan prepares a sharp Edge of Stone, and aims carfully before throwing the energy at Pidgey, who doesn't dodge, not sure on using an extra move to dodge, and it takes a painful hit from the attack. Pidgey keeps its distance however, as the round ends...

Results:

Hitmonchan took a decent amount of damage, and it and Pidgey are near equal in health. energy use was decent though, rock energy took a good hit.

Pidgey took a powerful hit, near equal to Hitmonchan, though it has a slight lead in health, energy use was decent, it's about 20 feet in the air now...

Ok Jackie Chun finally we got some luck on our side. Use a Swift of your own. If the bird comes down to attack you I want you to counter as fast as you can with a Thunderpunch , if it doesn't just Bulk Up again.

"Pidgey, with the distance u have on it, u should easily be able to shift sideways a few feet and avoid it, Then use Swagger from the air. Send an Ominous Wind it's way while your at it from the same position.

That counts as two moves right?

Things go differently, as it's Hitmonchan who fires with the Swiftly flying stars at Pidgey, who easily dodges the attack, given the distance between the two. However, that doesn't seem to be enough, as the bird retaliates with a move of its own, blasting an Omnious looking Wind at its opponet, who had he not been focusing on his next move, would have dodged that attack easily. Hitmonchan simply was Bulking himself Up, and while his attack went well, it was stopped by the blast of wind smacking him in the chest. He still got most of the boost, but with his attack being disrupted, the boost wasn't as high as he would have liked it to be. Regardless, both grimace as the round ends...

Results:

Pidgey took no damage, energy use was decent, Ghost energy remains

Hitmonchan took another hit, still above the 1/2 mark, though it's getting close to it. Attack/Defense boosted, but it's not a full boost due to the interuptions.

Hitmonchan easily dodges the Air Slash that Pidgey tosses at it, but regardless, neither does much afterwards, Pidgey refusing to use so much energy for a Detect, when Hitmonchan simply was Bulking Up, as its defenses and attack boosted once again

Results:

Neither took damage, Hitmonchan's attack/defense is boosted again, it also used more energy than the bird.

If it comes down for a physical attack counter back with an Ice Punch . Use Agility if it goes for a wind/air type attack instead to avoid it.

Things don't happen much this round, as Pidgey drops a Toxic glob on Hitmonchan's head, it grimaces from the nasty goo, but it doesnt' do much else as the poison slowly sinks into the fighter type.

Results:

Neither took damage, Pidgey's poison energy took a decent hit, and it used more energy and both enjoyed the break somewhat. Hitmonchan is Toxiced, based on movement the poison starts up soon...

Short burst Agility away from the first attack then take the 2nd one. Use a well aimed Stone Edge to hit it hard going for its wings. Then use Secret Power for good measure. Three mover confirmed.
