As for me, I'm hoping that Brave New World goes on sale (fat chance, I know).
XCOM is 50% off right now, but it'll be that cheap until July 22nd so I'm gonna hold out for a flash sale. |

I just bought an Xbox 360 controller ($10 off on Newegg right now) so I can play some games better in my vast backlog. I might sit this sale out.

DEO BUY IT
BUUUUUUUUUUY IIIIIIIIIIIIIT For $8 ($12.49 for the excellent gold edition), there's not much risk, and it's a steal at that price. |

I'll consider it. I already have way too many games backlogged I need to play, namely Strike Suit Zero and Kerbal Space Program.

Do you guys think XCOM will be available for more than 75% off later this week?

I highly doubt XCOM will go any lower than $9.99. They say not to buy something unless it's a daily deal or a flash sale until the last day, but honestly $9.99 is a great price for it (very good game) and I don't see it going any lower. You should do it.

Done and done. Man I've already spent $30 on this, though I did manage to get both the games I really hoped would be on sale.

Anyone know how Sleeping Dogs is compared to GTA IV? I want to get my open world shenanigans on while I wait for GTA V's PC release (which will probably be like a few months after console release). In either case, vote for Sleeping Dogs.

Sleeping Dogs is pretty open and really fun. It has a lot of traditional GTA elements and does some of them better, actually, in my opinion. I don't that I can put it on the same "fun" level of GTA in terms of being ridiculous and such, mostly because the game takes its story seriously, but it's a lot of fun and very open. Unfortunately you can't explore Hong Kong in its entirety like they would have you believe, but instead several large sections of the city which are interconnected via highways (definitely bigger than GTA IV though. I think.)
If it DOES go down to $6.25, pull the trigger for sure I say. I voted on it for you, it will most likely be the one to go on sale given what it's up against. If not, wait around a few days and see what it hits its lowest point at and then we'll see. |

I just bought GRID, Dirt3, and Euro Truck Simulator 2. Best $23 ever spent. I reccomend any of them to people who need endless hours of racing, and simulating, fun. I let my Dad drive Euro Truck an hour ago, and he attempted to smash through the car in front of us, to get through the toll. He couldn't make it fast enough, and the pole thingy got stuck in-between the cab, and the load. This caused a hilarious amount of Glitchiness, where the cab attempts to fly through the roof.

On that subject seriously, EuroTruck 2 is GREAT. Highly encourage it for anyone looking for a game where you can just... chill. It's surprisingly really fun.
