I am so confused. I live where the eye is supposed to hit and so far it hasn't been much of anything other than a normal bad rain storm. I even walked in it about 30 mins ago.

I'm assuming the Spongebob portion is a meme along the lines of An Hero?

Sorry, was trying to make light of the situation Sometimes laughter is the best medicine, I don't see how it was 'disgusting', I think that's an overreaction. Meh.
Anyway, tWC has a live stream for free going right now. Anyone who needs to can watch it here Last edited by deoxys; 10-29-2012 at 06:30 PM. |

It's not raining here anymore. Just massive wind.
My room's windows are being pelted by my neighbors shingles that are flying off and hitting them. The tree right next to my house also completely fell over like it was nothing. It didn't hit any cars or anything but if it fell in my direction I'd probably be dead right now. |

Don't cross off rave parties. I've had rave parties.
That tree was very huge and near my room. If it fell NE instead of W it would have landed on me. I tried to take a pic of the tree but my phone doesn't have flash so it was just blackness. |

I'm just breaking all the rules! Second floor next to two windows! I'm just unintentionally asking for it.
I hear a lot of whistling wind and my pool has officially started to overflow. Someone's trampoline also managed to land on a power line in my town and trees are down. I'm surprised I still have power, the lights are flickering. |

Not sure if that's really cool or really worrisome.

Hmm. That is the picture I saw. Looks like the person who posted it saying it was my town was probably lying now that I've researched it. Still awesome though!

EDIT: Status update: Just moved to the basement after an object yet to be identified smacked into the side of the house. Hooray finished basements!

Reading some of the recent flooding/damage reports has me increasingly concerned for our northeastern/coastal brethren. Stay safe!
Meanwhile, in Ohio: Gusty winds.

So going to the beach to see 20 foot waves.
Probably not the best idea in my life... |

Take comfort in the knowledge that, had you perished, your genetic material was probably of minimal worth anyways: going to check out the super awesome waves in the middle of a hurricane isn't "playing Russian Roulette with a semi-automatic" Darwin award dumb, but it's pretty close.

The sad part is that the waves wasn't that big. The water was just choppy.
