I literally sorted Trump's "gaffes" into Good and Bad. Many of his mistakes seriously hurt his campaign and many were brilliant moves that didn't manifest until later on. I banned myself from talking about political strategy because literally nobody wants to hear it but I've said a million times "this was a massive mistake" and been correct a lot, and the same goes for "this is 5d chess." I'm not sure why you're just sort of ignoring this because it's featured heavily in my posts.

The only explanation I can think of is that you don't actually read my posts.

The Trump team wanted tanks and missile launchers at the inauguration.

At what point do you go from "terrible president" to "literally elements of fascism"? For me, it was months ago.

God, it holds up even stronger than ever today than it did two months ago. Jesus Christ reading that list is horrifyingly accurate, and it was created in 2003. Number 13 especially seems to be on-point since I last brought this up.

So far it looks like Sessions (Justice) and Ross (Commerce) are gonna pass fairly smoothly. Ross had an especially good hearing.

Tillerson (State) will probably pass, but the Administration's gonna have to basically buy votes for it. Rubio's put up a few signals that he's in that boat (and his vote is important if they want Tillerson to get the Foreign Relations Committee's endorsement), but I wouldn't be surprised if the Trump Administration decided they weren't gonna play ball. So then things'll get interesting.

DeVos (Education) got embarrassed by Tim Kaine and told Chris Murphy (Connecticut Senator who lives near Sandy Hook and I think represented them in the House for like a decade) that it's fine to have guns in schools. Overall a poor showing, but unlikely to sway Republicans (Education's too low profile to exert pressure to piss off the incoming administration).

Finally we've got Scott Pruitt (EPA). Democrats grilled him pretty good. There was a fair amount of vagueness, and Pruitt making claims about his record that were quickly undercut by Democrats bringing up his actual record. And he really didn't talk about what he was gonna do. Like DeVos, he'll get through even though his hearing didn't go so great and he's not a good candidate because you're not gonna get the Republicans to vote against him.

Murphy was also the one who started the Senate filibuster last year.

That's a huge misstep but unfortunately its DeVos so the Republicans are going to say ok anyways.

The list is really inaccurate to fascism, though. 1-3 is accurate, as is 10, but the rest are really wrong.

I... don't follow how. Those all seem absolutely accurate to facist regimes to me. Could you further explain your point?

A few things that pop out at me:

Fascism is an atheistic ideology. Think horseshoe theory with Communism. European fascism was very coolly tolerant of religious exercise, but quickly shut it down when it started to run counter to its actions, persecuting religious people in large amounts. And let's not forget that Nazi Germany literally executed people for their religious beliefs?

Labor unions were not opposed because they were "a threat," they were opposed because Nazis were Darwinist. Allowing your workers to band together runs counter to the idea that only the strongest and purest and sexiest will survive.

Fascism was cool in the '20s, when everyone was sexist. Fascist regimes weren't any more or less sexist than non-fascist governments of the period.

Parading military vehicles isn't inherently fascist. Especially when the two regimes cited (the USSR and WPK) were communist regimes with a totalitarian-focus. I feel like people are missing the forest for the trees here, fearful of context but side-stepping the obvious - military parades are a show of military strength, and totalitarians do it to show off. Doing so isn't inherently totalitarian.

The association-scare is also a thing with Nazi uniforms. In other contexts (like Star Wars) Nazi-like uniforms are venerated because they're stylish, but when worn by a Nazi they're demonic. This is because people have trouble divorcing the context of Nazism from their apparent observation that the uniforms are cool.

That said, even if Trump understands this visual imagery use to a certain extent, I think it's pretty clear he is going for a Red Square theme to his inauguration.

Just because Hitler persecuted Jews and wasn't a fan of the Church does not mean fascism and Christianity are mutually exclusive. Fascist governments or movements in places like Spain, Croatia, Romania, and Belgium were all intensely religious. Besides, even though Hitler and Mussolini were not personally devout, the German and especially Italian populations were very religious. Actually, that's another similarity between Fascism and the Donald- Trump isn't especially religious personally, but plays it up and publicly supports it for the sake of appealing to his base.

Labor unions were not opposed because they were "a threat," they were opposed because Nazis were Darwinist. Allowing your workers to band together runs counter to the idea that only the strongest and purest and sexiest will survive.

So then they were a threat to Fascist, Darwinist ideology, no?

Fascism was cool in the '20s, when everyone was sexist. Fascist regimes weren't any more or less sexist than non-fascist governments of the period.

You say this as if this wasn't when Women were getting the right to vote and expressing themselves more freely. In the US, Calvin Coolidge was an avid support of Women's suffrage and Herbert Hoover's wife, Lou, was a feminist activist. Saying "everyone was sexist in the twenties" is absurd when the interwar period saw the biggest shift in attitudes toward women in western history up to that point.
Comments in bold.

Considering that list was compiled by political scientist Dr. Lawrence Britt who created the list only after a lengthy study and investigation on a history of the world's fascist regimes, I'm inclined to believe that the only thing wrong here is your response.

Nazi Germany had the official support of the Roman Catholic Church and only punished people who were conscientious objectors.
