How'd that meme go? "I live in Spain without the a"? Eh, whatever, let's just open this one up with a Gyro Ball (28<50= 100 BP).

Good old Meteor Mash (90 BP, 20% chance to raise the user's Attack stat by 1 stage) should do the job here. Lucario is also holding the Aegis of Frost (appropriate for the situation? *shrug*), which helps protect him from physical damage.

The cold never bothered us anyway... And neither does the heat! Let's show it we're not afraid to fight rough with CROSSFIRE (100 BP)! (Boosted by Flametongue)

![]() Dynamax Boss Alolan Ninetales ★★★★ Health Gauge: 73% Shields Up: 8 Status: Poisoned, Fire Spin (3 turns remaining), Hail (4 turns remaining) Attack 1: Max Hailstorm (140 BP) Ironthunder, Vulpix: 142 HP Attack 2: Blizzard (110 BP) Connor, Salandit: 176 HP Attack 3: Dazzling Gleam (80 BP) Connor, Salandit: 86 HP Raid Challengers:
The raiders begin the battle by dealing a massive amount of damage to the Alolan Ninetales, watching as their powerful moves break through its health bar. Seems easy enough, right? No. The Alolan Ninetales calls down a Max Hailstorm, smiting its fiery kin and causing a massive hail storm to pour down. The raiders watch with horror as a snowy cloak wraps around the Alolan Ninetales, realizing that this wasn't going to be as easy as they thought. The Ninetales then lets out a chilling Blizzard, cutting through the raiding party despite the move being resisted. It then continues the assault with Dazzling Gleam, continuing to do massive sweeping attacks against the raiders. It then laughs through the pain of both the Poison and Fire Spin, allowing it to put up a full set of shields. With its defenses almost perfectly set up, it watches the raiders with intrigue as the hail batters the raiders. Welcome to your icy tomb. Dynamax Initiative: Med, Honedge

If we supersize a shortsword, does it become a gargantuan claymore? Well, might aw well find out~ Let's Dynamax and use Max Flutterby (based off of Fury Cutter; 90 BP)!
...What do you mean it's Not Very Effective? If I'm not gonna actually deal damage, I might as well be pretty instead~! |

I just need a break.
I'll use Aura Sphere (80 BP) on shields. Taking a short break. (By no means does my character Jake need a break. He's doing fine. Me? Not so much...)

![]() Dynamax Boss Alolan Ninetales ★★★★ Health Gauge: 70% Shields Up: 4 Status: +2 Sp. Atk, Poisoned, Fire Spin (2 turns remaining), Hail (3 turns remaining), Aurora Veil (4 Turns Remaining), Aurora Veil (Raiders) (4 Turns Remaining) KOs: 2 Trainer Healing Summary= Lifew Dew (0 BP) Med, Honedge: 482 HP Attack 1: Nasty Plot (0 BP) Alolan Nintales has sharply raised its special attack! Attack 2: Blizzard (110 BP) Connor, Salandit: 0 HP [KO'd] Attack 3: Aurora Veil (0 BP) A rainbow aura is now protecting Alolan Ninetales! Raid Challengers:
Realizing the situation they're in, the raiders move to try and recover from their mistakes. Lapras uses a healign Life Dew and the burned Alolan Vulpix set up an Aurora Veil. The rest of the raiders make their way to attack, but the Aron, one of the Salandits, and the Kantonian Vulpix hit the Snow Cloak instead, their attacks missing the shields. The Ninetales laughs at the raiders before it, and sets up a Nasty Plot, nullfying and overtaking the Aurora Veil. It then showcases its power with another Blizzard, knocking down two of the raiders and dealing a number on the other two hit. It then decides to show its superior power compared to the hasty Alolan Vulpix, and lets out a shimmering display of its own. The Aurora Veil shines beautifully in the sky, hiding the damaging hail that assaults the raiders. Dynamax Initiative: Med, Honedge

...So, uh, maybe the claymore should've waited a bit. Too late for double-guessing that, though. Max Phantasm (based off of Shadow Sneak; 90 BP) should be able to shear some of these Shields away.
