Agreed that if Kanto remake then they should make significant map changes

Significant map expansion, yes. they can open up some of the pass between Kanto and Johto, maybe give us Mount Silver, but some new towns would be nice. And if they include the Sevii Islands I guess they could expand upon those. I always thought Kanto was the most efficiently designed map, which is nice. RBY2 would be fantastic, set it during the Hoenn era and have it be a sequel to GSC, allowing plenty of reference to FRLG, but give us some new plot points.
Assuming not Kanto remake, significant map enhancement is still needed. I did like XY's map (obvious gripes about giant city bullshit aside) but I'm sure they could give us even more meat on the bones. I guess XY2 is the more likely route to that although there's only a shaky precedent and we know Gamefreak isn't shy about ignoring that whenever it suits them. |

In all honesty if they were to release a Pokemon Z I would probably not buy it. I didn't enjoy Pokemon X by any great margin, it all just felt really flat to me. There would have to be significant post-game expansion beyond the battling facets for me to give much of a damn. Something like Delta Episode from ORAS.
XY2 is a whole 'nother kettle of fish.

This. Lumiose City was a nightmare, especially because the camera and as a result, the controls were derpy as fuck. Most of the other places, I wasn't too fussed about. Sure, they could give us a postgame (or, best-but-most-unlikely case scenario) they give us essentially a remastered Kanto and say 'Blam. There's your postgame.'

I don't really have a preference for XY2 or Z, I just hope the next game/games have better post game content. A major flaw I see in both the previous gen 6 games, is a lack of post game content. I want a post game like B2 and W2! Tons of hidden treasures and fun things to do!

Yeah, X and Y weren't really big on post-game content. OR/AS took a step in the right direction with the Delta Episode, but yeah, something along the lines of B2/W2 would be preferable- more places to go after the main storyline, more things to do, more sidequests, all of that good stuff. A popular theory seems to be that there'll be more of Kalos available to the south of the region in the next Kalos game(s), complete with its own section of the Kalos Dex. That'd be pretty cool, even if it means that the Kalos Dex would then encompass almost the entire National Dex.

I'm not so sure- I mean, Kalos didn't introduce a whole lot of new Pokémon to begin with, leaving definite room for more, and then there's also the fact that they seem to have mastered introducing new moves (Precipice Blades, Origin Pulse, Dragon Ascent, Hyperspace Fury), hold items (Red Orb, Blue Orb, all new Mega Stones) and Abilities (Desolate Land, Primordial Sea, Delta Stream) mid-generation, so as far as I'm concerned, new Pokémon mid-generation would be the next logical step.

Me, personally, I'd like to see a Mega Weezing, though I could imagine a Mega Torterra- more trees on its back, stuff like that. |

Another Pokemon that could use a Mega is Gastrodon. Nothing really too special, just an overall power boost. owo |

Not sure what could be done with a Mega Hydreigon to give it help against Fairy-types. It could become compatible with the TMs for Sludge Bomb and Sludge Wave, but that wouldn't help in regards to taking a Fairy move...
Mega Gastrodon would be cool, too- maybe it'd get a different Ability depending on whether it's a West Sea or East Sea Gastrodon. I'd also like to see them do something similar with a potential Mega Basculin. And on the subject of Water-type Mega Evolutions, I just love the mental picture of a Mega Mantine that has an Octillery on its wing instead of a Remoraid, like Mega Evolving made the Remoraid evolve. |

Doing different abilities for each Gastrodon form isn't totally weird either, as the Basculin forms both have different abilities (despite the best one being shared between the two).
