There's a lot to be said for Levitate. It's not as good as knowing Fly, but hey, if it means Gemini and Mustard can save my character from being incinerated by boiling lava, I am in no position to complain about it.
And it's also time for Missingno. Master Monday Mimicry Something Something I Don't Know! YAAAAAY!!! Pokémart/Candy Store: Deposited the usual Rare Candy, meaning I finally have an actual balance once more. Daycare: Picked up Helena, who grew to level 31, and Chromium, who grew to level 32. Dropped them both back off again. Move Tutor: Picked up Stewie, who learned Dizzy Punch and Focus Punch. Dropped him back off to learn Dynamic Punch. Casino: Not a Monday thing, but the update coincided with this quite nicely. Not so nice, however, was my luck this time around- only 3,000 coins, and considering I put in 5,000, yeah. But hey, could be worse- could've flat-out not won any coins at all, right? (nicknames: Gemini=Weezing; Mustard=Weezing's second head; Helena=Shuppet; Chromium=Smeargle; Stewie=Shadow Ledian) |

Oooh, I quite like this question. :o Not one I've heard asked that much before ... seems like a fun game, too ...
Friend Guard seems like the sort of thing that people will want to roleplay anyway, with or without officially having the ability. But having the ability would at least give you more room to persuade your updater that the outcome of a multibattle should go a certain way, with your Friend Guard Pokémon throwing themselves in harm's way to absorb some or all of the attack energy that was meant for another of your Pokémon. You could even write an entire personality around this ability. Perhaps your Pokémon is too selfless, sacrificing their well-being for the sake of others too much because they desire to see no one else suffer. Or perhaps it's something happier, with your Pokémon being a hero whose routine sacrifices we venerate. Honey Gather, as defined, is one you could have some silly fun with. Combee shows up with a jar of honey and you hear a woman screaming from a nearby house that someone's burgled her pantry ... an NPC rival has a jar of honey in their hands that they're boasting about when suddenly it's gone and Combee flits over to you and unabashedly presents you with a jar of honey ... you're on a spaceship headed for Mars, there's very limited and specific cargo on board, you know everything that's here and certainly there's no honey...when Combee floats over to you in zero G and presents an unopened jar of honey ... Mummy ... o.o I don't have an answer to your question yet. I wouldn't pick any of the three above, but glancing over the list I didn't see one that stood out to me as the definitive No.1 best answer. I will have to give this more thought ...

(Clarifying just in case!) Mummy's a separate entry. It wasn't me going "Mommy o.o;" or something @ Honey Gather. I am perfectly okay with a Combee producing honey from thin air. It's Mummy that I think is a rather grim ability in an RP setting. (Bring on the zombification fan fiction!)

...I should really take Dios on an outing to Phantom Isle sometime. Or anywhere, really. He's due some character development.

Oh, and in other news, all unused Passion Pokéblocks from this year's Valentine's Day giveaway are now expired, just a little FYI to anyone who, like me, ended up not using them. |

I'd say Trace is the strongest because it copies any other ability, therefore Trace Gardevoir must be OP. ;)

But then you trace Truant and now Sera's picking her nose in the corner, looking disinterested in everything going around her.

RP wise, I like abilities that are interesting, not necessarily the most useful in battles or abilities that don't necessarily follow the description to the dot. Klutzy Pokemon may fumble with even food, for example.

As far as my Pokémon go, I usually go for Abilities that are more practical in battle, but there are occasional exceptions. Rubeus is a prime example- Static would be way more practical than Limber, especially on a Stunfisk, but Rubeus's Ability is Limber, has always been Limber, and will continue to be Limber. Basically, his character is made to be the polar opposite of... well, of my first Stunfisk. We don't talk about my first Stunfisk.
And Luna's Ability is Unaware, though that's really more due to its usefulness in battle, especially compared to Klutz. Luna is neither unaware nor klutzy. In fact, I might bring her to the Dream World after I'm done in there with Myrtle, change Unaware to Simple. And speaking of the Dream World, I deemed the most fitting of Stewie's Abilities to be Iron Fist, so he was the first Pokémon I took through the Dream World, changed it to Iron Fist. Matter of fact, I think that's the only completed Dream World adventure to date thus far. But yeah, it works for him, not only because it's more useful for him than Swarm or Early Bird, but also because he aspires to rule the world with an iron fist, so... c'mon, tell me that's not fitting. Kyle's kind of an unusual case. His Ability was locked in before I caught him, and in fact played a major role in that adventure, on multiple occasions. That said, however, Flash Fire would've been the Ability I'd have given to a Heatmor in any case, so I really got nothing to complain about there. And Vinny's Ability was the reason why, for the longest time, I couldn't decide whether to evolve him or not. As a Numel, his Ability was Simple, which is a damn good Ability to have, especially on something that gets moves like Howl, Growth, Stockpile, Flame Charge, all that good stuff. But, in the end, I decided I really liked the idea of Vinny Mega Evolving, so I evolved him. Next Mega Stone I buy, definitely either a Venusaurite or a Cameruptite. (nicknames: Rubeus=Stunfisk; Luna=Swoobat; Myrtle=Banette; Stewie=Shadow Ledian; Kyle=Heatmor; Vinny=Camerupt) |

I think moody would be a fun ability to mess around with, in and out of battle. Lots if potential there, I think

With my latest trade for my new Rotom, I can now proudly say that I own all of the Electric type families from the first 5 gens! (Counting Eevee for Jolteon).
Now all I need to do is evolve Hazel (my Eevee) and get the two remaining lines.... |

Obviously Bulbagarden fonts have changed so using size 2 or 3 will be easier on the eye. For zones, three is probably better.

>Missingno's Many Ms
Well I guess I'll bite again this week: Pokemart - Got me a candy, but immediately spent it on the Move Tutor~ The Move Tutor: Dropped Zeke off to learn Endure for no reason at all~ Day Care: I picked up Maribelle and Spencer, and dropped Spencer back off alongside Murray instead this week so I could help Maribelle set up camp in the Beauty Salon~ The Salon: Maribelle's new home for the next 10 weeks, she's gonna get all the treatments~ The Training Centre: Speaking of Maribelle, I realised last week that I have a couple Attract TMs lying around, so who better to use one on than the styledog herself? Also Blue and Zeke learned Rain Dance~
