Reports claim that Shadolls are approaching T0/Dragon Ruler status in the OCG, without the benefit of Soul Charge or Kuribandit (which break them heavily). And the deck's still being developed, it doesn't have a final form yet. On top of the Shadoll Fusion card it also abuses Super Polymerization.

Where the hell did they pull "Yazi" from? His original card name appears to be "Jaryuusei - Gaizaa", or "Evil Dragon Star - Gaizer" or some such. In other words, his name appears to be Gaizer/Gaizar/however they'd opt to spell it. Why in the hell did they opt to change it to Yazi instead? I assumed his original name was ヤジ Yaji and they were using the romanization scheme where じ is spelled zi instead of ji. But no. His name was Gaizaa and somehow this became Yazi. Because Demon Dragon Nazi.

Yeah Shadolls is going to make HEROs completely obsolete. This card is rather hilarious with Midrash, though it is mandatory. Shadoll Roots is also going to three. No questions asked.

You know its weird, as much as I love playing the deck, the canon for Shadolls makes me cry on the inside. Who would have thought Winda would've ended up getting shadow possessed and start destroying the Sacred Tree? (while for some reason Leodrake powered up by parts of Ouroboros is incapable of doing anything). Just depresses me so much. ;.;

Though most likely only Kin and I care but I figured I'd share some of the random things that go through my head.

Duel Terminal seems to be a world of evil, shadow-like creatures infecting the native tribes on a consistent basis. During the first reset it was Evilswarm. Now it's Shaddolls.

It's not actually a reset. This is the storyline after the defeat of Sophia by Constellar Sombre and Evilswarm Kerkeyion (who by my understandings wasn't really Ilswarm but was just Constellar Raselhague imbued with the power of Zielgigas, Ouroboros, Ophion, and Bahamut by a now sane Noellia (no, do not ask how they makes the least bit of sense cause I do not know)). After the decisive battle, the remnants of Master Diamond get possessed by the Ilswarm virus(making Caingorgon), and somehow Shaddoll Roots is born from its head.

What makes it sad is Winda is, as far as we know, the only remaining Gusto left alive after the battle with Sophia (which might be further evidences by the fact that she is NOT riding on Gulldos but riding on Pulao) and so it might just be the death of the Gustos as we know it. Depending on where Pilika fits into all of it.

Man I know way too much about this.

No, they weren't. The Ilswarm didn't exist during the time when the Ice Barrier dragons tore up the place.

So the question I want to ask is: What cards that are on the banlist do you think could be taken off?

Dark Strike Fighter once the new errata comes and makes it shit. I don't think Brionac deserves to be banned at this point either, though that might just be bias for the card in general. With effect negation on the rise he isn't as good as he was before, and his synergy with Mermails is...questionable. Dragon Rulers can't make him easily either But other than that, I'm actually not sure. I'd say stuff like Mind Master (psychics are dead) and Glow-Up Bulb but lol Glow-Up Bulb is DRuler bait.

Yeah. With the second Angler and Soul Charge I attempted to clean stuff up with Exciton Knight, but got Book of Moon'd and it was all game over.

EDIT the first: And in the second game, I only see one copy of my field spell and neither of my Terraforming in over half my deck. FML.

I think I'm starting to see where this deck gets to be a little bit ridiculous. I was able to summon everything on the field after Midrash (granted, one of those Nephilim was summoned via Falcon). Ghostrick has a terrible match-up since for the most part, their Field Spell card helps Shaddolls.

Every time I doubt an Artifact engine I just look at Micheal in my Extra Deck and remember why its a thing.

Also Dopple, what's your opinion on a good Artifact engine? I'd use the barebones of Moralltach, Cadaceus(who I'm not even sure I should run, his effect is almost never seen) and Sanctum, but then I can't do both Shadoll Fusion AND Moralltach pops as consistently.

All I can tell you is Artifacts are pretty bad on their own, but they're effective in any heavy backrow deck. So, the annoying Madolche/Artifact hybrid from earlier in the format works, I employ Artifact/Burn, and I've also used it with Dinosaurs in the past.

Zombies suck. Not because the deck is bad, but the players are dumb:



This guy summoned Beelze twice, after I had Maxx "C"'d his Zombie Master. I ended up drawing like ten cards, negated one Synchro, destroyed another and all he had left was just the one and a largely useless grave setup. With one card in hand.

He was clever enough to kill Librarian - many people misidentify Stardust Dragon as the 'boss' of my deck, even though Librarian is the actual summoner and can make the XYZ plays. But I had just so much ammo in hand there was little he could do except just sit there helplessly.

Shadolls ARE ridiculous. The concept of loosing card advantage is completely foreign to them. They do not know the meaning of "-1", or hell, even "1-for-1" is still very unlikely. Midrash is fantastic, and Nephilim is pretty good as well. Frankly, I see myself siding Royal Command in the future, just to deal with them. Either that, or Nobleman of Crossout becomes a thing again.

Also, if anyone was wondering, I moved to DevPro because I was tired of the constant DN crashes. So far, I've moved to playing a wide variety of Decks, among which I can feature Sylvan, Lightsworn Ruler, Gravekeeper, Baby Raccoon and Ghostrick.

Royal Command isn't a terribly good idea. Shadow Imprisoning Mirror is far better.

I'm starting to think there's a bias in DN's shuffling system, since I make the same linear play every game, or at least I try to, but with current deck limitations I have a 10% chance of drawing a Junk, Doppel and Level 1 Tuner combo (either the cards themselves or a searcher) every game, without any respect given to thinning options like Tuning or Upstart Greed, but I'm getting that opening consistently less. Double MST, all traps (which compromise 7.5% of the deck) shouldn't be happening every game.

This guy, I drew NO DEFENSIVE CARDS the whole game.

I care. Winda is, and I can say this without any hesitation, my favorite card released up to now.

DT is one of the coolest things that they've ever done imo. They could make an anine out of it and I would watch it a million billion times (but they won't because it doesn't really marjet the card game as much as they would want).

Also, I've decided that I'm going to rewatch all of 5Ds. By the time I'm done with that Arc-V should have enough episodrs that I can binge watch it and judge it against the best YGO series ever.

Incidentally, it isn't true. Librarian + Stardust Dragon and 3 sets is 5 cards. That's fewer cards than when I start out (with 6). There's no advantage generated there, it's just the cards are converted into Synchros and backrow.
