The bombardment of attacks towards the Dynamax Lombre comes thick and fast as each of the trainers are quick to relay their latest tactics to the the team of Pokémon gathered before them. Making quick work of the last remaining shield, the remaining three attacks connect with their target to push his hitpoints into a more precarious territory.
Knowing this, the Dynamaxed Lombre decides to take on a strategy with its own preservation in mind. As a start, the colossal kappa leans forward to sap the life force from the Zubat, the Lombre’s favourite wincing as it felt the life draining from within. With the advantageous terrain dissipating, the Jolly Pokémon summons a humongous column of water in the form of a Max Geyser to smash into Pangoro and simultaneously evoke a downpour. With the onslaught of the rain, the Dynamaxed Pokémon began to collect the water in the lily pad on its head, further replenishing itself with the rainwater. Thanks to the terrain’s effect in the previous round, Lemmy the Toxel received a minor replenishment of hitpoints, just enough to make his flailing strategy less advantageous this time around. Despite this, if the next move to be commanded connected with the Jolly Pokémon, it would surely still smart. That was if, like before, the Lombre didn’t manage to make the first move and finish taking down the Baby Pokémon. “Keep it up, Lemmy - hit that Lombre with another Flail (20.83% ≤ HP < 35.42% - 80BP) attack if you can find a good opening!”

The situation was looking more and more dire for the lumbering Lombre as each round progressed. Though it had the rain pooling in its head dish and the waters collected were serving to nourish it, this would prove to be somewhat futile as the four Pokémon gathered before it continued their united assault.
In a last ditch attempt to take down the raiding party, the Jolly Pokémon focused all of its attention on the Woobat, clearly set on taking down the fuzzier of the two bats before it could fall itself. First off, the Lombre fires off an almighty Hydro Pump, soaking the Woobat and leaving its fur completely sodden. Seeing this as an opportunity to strike again, the Dynamaxed Pokémon lifts one great claw to the air before bringing it down on the bat with a thunderous crack. As it lifted its sparking fist, its success could be seen by all gathered: Woobat had fainted in a bedraggled heap. By some sort of miracle, the Baby Pokémon Zak had brought along was still on his feet and seemed ready for more despite the damage he had taken. Since the success of his flailing tantrums in the last rounds, Lemmy had taken to trying to psyche out the Lombre by keeping them going and lashing out at the air between them. Though his attitude was a little overconfident, his trainer couldn't help but smile at how well the Toxel had adapted to the raiding environment during this short visit to Typhon's Depths. "Let's give it one final Flail (20.83% ≤ HP < 35.42% - 80BP), Lemmy - you can do it!"

![]() Dynamax Boss Lombre ★★★ Health Gauge: 0% Shields Up: 0 Status: [N/A] Trainer Status: [N/A] KO Count: 0 One final flurry of attacks caused the giant Lombre to succumb to its wounds, and it promptly shrank back down to its normal size and sunk into the depths below. Gary congratulated the trainers on a hard fought battle and handed them their rewards. For their efforts in defeating the Dynamax Raid Boss Lombre, the trainers are awarded the following:

Realising the hard fought battle was now won, the Toxel left any and all signs of his prior tantrums behind, crowing happily as he danced his way around the other Pokémon. Only after a failed attempt to offer each of the bats a high five did the tyke come back around to his original position, quickly looking around to see if anybody had seen. Zak had and found himself smirking at Lemmy; he had done his trainer proud today and the man found himself taken by the critter’s quirks. With another threat to Typhon’s Depths thwarted, the Gym Leader Gary congratulated the gathered trainers, offering each a handshake as well as a selection of trinkets to take home. With a salute to his fellow raiders, Zak turned to Gary and gave the man a quick bow of gratitude as he accepted the gift: “Thanks for this, Gary - until next time!” With their bounty in hand, Zak scooped up the Baby Pokémon and pulled him in for a quick cuddle. At first, the Toxel wriggled and squirmed until he realised he liked the way his trainer’s hearty embrace felt and joined him in the hug. This was just the beginning of Lemmy’s journey and Zak couldn’t wait to see what was next for the youngster. - Lemmy the Toxel levels up from Lv4 to Lv10
