The raiders were quick to respond to the call of the klaxon, only to find the Dynamax Helioptile wandering about seemingly at random around the area, occasionally staring up at the sky. It was a bit of a wonder that the alarm would even go off for such a non-threat. At least, it didn't seem all that threatening. But the yellow lizard soon took notice of the opponents it would be facing, and with a furious shake of its flapping ears, Dynamax energy swirled through the area, signaling the start of the fight.

Dynamax Initiative: SpinyShell, Solosis.
  • Trainers may only list 1 order per round. They are also permitted to using 1 item in lieu of an attack.
  • Dynamax Initiative will select a trainer at random. If a trainer has initiative, they may choose to Dynamax their Pokemon for a duration of 3 turns. Dynamaxed Pokemon may only select a Max Attack of a corresponding type from their registered moveset, or Max Guard in place of status moves.
  • When issuing an attack, please state the attack's unbuffed Base Power (BP).
  • If a hold item or ability’s effect is activated in the present round as a result of the previous round’s damage calculation or the present round’s orders, please state it clearly in your response.

The raiders put your standard amount of prep in to start off the match, setting up a defense, a bit of offense, and placing some damage over time on the boss while at least one person still gets a decent hit in. Helioptile doesn't seem to bothered by the defensive Reflect, though, and pops out a Max Overgrowth onto Lileep for a decently large hit. Then comes a Surf, the widespread move a warning not to think too little of this large lizard. Infestation then ticks as Grassy Terrain does a bit of healing.

With a bit of healing on their side, the raiders get in a slightly better spot before pumping the boss full of attacks, not quite hitting shields just yet. Helioptile then strikes with a Max Geyser, once again hitting Lileep and bringing the plant into an uncomfortable spot. A Dark Pulse comes out, seeking a super effective hit only to strike into Cubone, who takes it in stride for the okay hit that it is. Then Infestation ticks as Grassy Terrain heals everyone and the boss recovers more health with its Dry Skin.

A few attacks are lobbed at Helioptile, with the incoming Max Flare blocked by the boss' Max Guard, preventing the weather from changing entirely. Just as the boss finally puts up its first round of shields, the nearby second reactor hums to life, an eerie sound that echoes through the area before turning to horrific grinding as something is clearly going wrong. Soon, the nearby ground shakes, causing a large rift to form, Cubone and its trainer falling in and disappearing from the fight before the reactor is shut down once more. Luckily for the raiders, the boss didn't seem to appreciate that at all, losing one of its shields and a fair chunk of health in the process. Helioptile then looses a Parabolic Charge, dealing a repectable hit to the raiders while healing up fairly significantly from the drain. Infestation ticks, everyone is healed by the Grassy Terrain, and the boss' Dry Skin replenishes some health.

The raiders take down Helioptile's shields with a Max Wyrmwind before piling a bit of damage on. Not exactly happy about losing some of its defensive prowess, a Max Darkness comes out, taking out Solosis and lowering the special defense of the other raiders. This turns out to be just enough of a drop to see Lileep hit the floor thanks to the incoming Dark Pulse that comes next. Infestation and healing then occurs.

With two raiders down and cheering for her success, Dreepy smacks into Helioptile with a Max Wyrmwind, dealing a decent hit before Helioptile responds in kind, with the defensive buffs on Dreepy managing to negate a fair bit of damage. Helioptile then sets up a Light Screen before the raiders' Reflect fades and the Grassy Terrain fades. Healing occurs and Dreepy returns to normal size before the remaining raiders take to the field again.
