Cave Story
Has anyone ever played it? It's a JP freeware game translated by some guys. It's a pretty fun game despite its simple look. It's worth checking out. One of the few games to have an adequate last boss fight.

Hehe, I saw it when ryan posted it on DC. I figured it would be the kind of game you would like, but I got bored of it pretty quickly.
