Aeon, get in there. Released as far away from Takashi as possible. Begin with a Stone Edge, then keep your distance and move away from any attacks with Dive.

Alright, Takashi, get as close to Aeon as possible. Start with a Thunderbolt, then protect yourself from an incoming attack with a Dive of your own.

Dr. Ciel sends out Takashi the Chinchou!
Connor responds with Aeon the Relicanth!

Quote:
Chinchou (Water/Electric): Chinchou are fish, and thus are slow and nearly immobile on land, but are faster and more agile in the water. Whenever a Chinchou uses an electric attack in the water, it creates a small amount of electricity around it, shocking anything in the water with it within 10 feet of it (damage is considered equal to half a Thundershock for the most powerful electric attacks). As an electric type, it is immune to recoil from using electric attacks in the water or during a Rain Dance. It may also use its antennas as a light source in the same way that the Mareep family does with their tails.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
[Electric]: Electric types, in general, prefer areas where their electric attacks are most accurate. Thus, while hot temperatures don’t bother them, the fact that heat refracts electricity doesn’t appeal to them.

Relicanth (Water/Rock): Though far more at home in the water, Relicanth's lobed fins allow it to stand on land and even move, though slowly, as if they were legs.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
[Rock]: Rock types generally have hard bodies, which makes them resistant to unskilled (non-fighting) blows. However, most are so heavy that they will sink in water, so they stay away from deep-water sources if possible. Rock types prefer heat to cold.
ROUND 1

The round starts off with Aeon using Stone Edge against his opponent. Meanwhile, Takashi responds with a thunderbolt against his opponent. Both attacks succeed with Aeon receiving the worse of it. Within moments, both pokemon decide that its better to gain some distance from eachother by div[e]ing away to the bottom of the pool… only that seemed to have left them somewhat the same distance.

Summary

Aeon took a mean hit right off the bat. Energy usage was okay.

Takashi took a hit, but not nearly as bad as Aeon. Energy usage was okay.

Dive around the Thunderbolt and strike before Rock Smash. Let gravity do it's work and slowly drop below them to try avoid Rock Smash, then strike with DC Earthquake.

ROUND 2

Takashi uses thunderbolt against Aeon, but the ancient fish maneveurs around it with an amazing dive, while striking the electric fish for some damage. Takashi now has the rocky fish near, so he uses rock smash... wait, he doesnt learn rock smash.... he does nothing. The stone fish giggles a bit with a direct contact earthquake, shaking the little critter to the core.

Summary

Takashi took most of the damage this round. Health is sitting within his second third. Energy usage was okay.

Aeon fared much better, taking no damage. Energy usage was on the higher side. Ground is over half gone.

Spew some Toxic into the water as you retreat to the depths. If she stays at range, Safeguard, but if she follows use Head Smash.

Get within range & dodge the incoming attack with Double Team, then use Hydro Pump

ROUND 3

Aeon uses a stream toxic as he retreats to safety. Meanwhile, Takashi uses double team. The toxic stream within the water seems to have affected the real Takashi, but not destroying the four Takashi that Aeon is seeing. It seems that Takashi is not going in to attack, so Aeon uses safeguard, while Takashi unleashes a hydro pump. The attack does nothing to Aeon as he is protected by safeguard.

Summary

Aeon once again did not take any damage, a break is needed though.

Takashi is poisoned, and he also needs a break. 3 Clones remain

Use Dive to dodge any possible attack & to get some rest, then deliver a solid hit with Surf.

ROUND 4

Takashi uses dive to move further away, while Aeon chases after him with a whirlpool to real him in. Takashi and the clones affected by the whirpool, revealing the real chinchou in the process. Takashi tries to use surf, but it doesn’t work underwater! The whirlpool begins to fade away, leaving both pokemon at a comfortable distance in front of eachother.

Summary

Takashi took negible damage, energy usage was okay.

Aeon used minimal energy while taking no damage again.

Spew Muddy Water at her face to try disrupt her vision, and then Dive below their second attack before striking.

Stay at a safe distance, then use Thunder Wave in an attempt to stop his movements.

ROUND 5

Aeon uses muddy water against Takashi, causing some intense damage, but not nearly as much as he thought it would. Takashi is discouraged, but she fires off a thunder wave directly at Aeon… but where did Aeon go? Oh, he used dive to avoid the attack. BAM. Aeon strikes Takashi for some additional damage, leaving both pokemon within melee range.

Summary

Aeon took no damage yet again. Energy usage was fine. Ground is about a third gone.

Takashi used very little energy, but his health dipped below the halfway point.

Skull Bash through the attack and strike, then land the strongest DC Earthquake you can on her.

ROUND 6

Takashi unleashes another powerful hydro pump, but Aeon muscles through it with a skull bash. The pump did manage to strike some damage, but not nearly as much, while Aeon landed a reduced hit on Takashi. Now that Aeon is close ranged, he uses another devastating Earthquake that makes direct contact, chugging out another chunk of Takashi’s health. The round comes to an end as Takashi glows a faint purple due to toxic damage.

Summary

Takashi is above his final third of health. Energy usage was okay.

Aeon muscled through that pump, walking out with minimal damage, while using a lot of energy. Ground is gone.

i was forgetting to mention toxic damage, sorry.

Give her a Stone Edge as you retreat to a safer distance, moving at a diagonal closer to the bottom of the pool. Dive sharply upwards to avoid the second attack, should it come.

Dive under the Stone Edge & once you're at a safe distance from him underwater, use Thunderbolt.

ROUND 7

Aeon uses stone edge against the chinchou as he rushes downward to the pull. Meanwhile, Takashi simply dives deeper down to the pool, but they have reached the bottom, leaving him unable to dodge. BAM. Takashi uses thunderbolt against Aeon, but the rocky fish simply dives up and away from the attack. The thunderbolt does manage to land a partial hit on Aeon though. The round comes to an end as Takashi glows purple from toxic damage.

Summary

Aeon is now into his second third. Energy usage was okay, but a break is needed.

Takashi took some damage there, making her overall appearance not so good. Energy usage was okay

Use Protect to prevent the oncoming attack, & when the moment presents itself, use Thunderbolt.
