I just don't have fun dueling anymore.

I just can't deal with the swarms. I haven't quit, I just haven't had any motivation to play whatsoever.

You give any idiot a stack of the best cards and they'll kick your ass with it, no matter how much thought or strategy you put into your deck. I didn't believe that before, but it really is the truth.

I'm back, if someone's online I'm up for a bout.

I think my play-style is the major reason I still haven't lost interest in YGO, because I'm working with cards that have been nerfed/supposedly aren't viable anymore. Trying to figure out a combination to make them competitive has been the real draw. I've taken that approach with virtually all video games or online games I've played (including BVS, in my signature).

EDIT: Had 5 matches. 2 with Tuner, 3 with Dopple. Put up a fight in all 5, but every match I ended up eventually getting smoked when they broke it open. GG's, guys.

I got lucky a few times with Book of Moon, twice turning an XYZ face-down before it could use its effect.

The ideal scenario I find to beat Dark Worlds is SSD/Ojama Trio, to deny field presence and put up a monster with higher attack than even a boosted Grapha. I had such a setup against phoopes the last time I played his DW, but never came close to it in this duel, instead relying on Scrap Dragon and back-row to consume the scary monsters. I'm amazed at how much I rely on Scrap now.

In other news, my greatest fear has come to pass. Yuma's new Chaos Code Exceed: No. 39, Shining Hope.

I recently came up with a fantastic idea for a card set. That is a "Pregnancy" set. We'll have mother cards who are pregnant, and when they're on the field for a certain amount of time, they give birth/special summon, a monster. Every mother card, of course, will be a human shaped girl having birth in the art, and they'll always summon giant ass dragons, demons, and shit(not literally). If a mother card is destroyed, she will summon a fetus token, and this fetus token can be sacrificed to bring back a monster from the graveyard (stem cells can even revive the dead!).

Obviously this set will have spell cards to complement/fight against it. There'll be one card called "Surprise Abortion" that destroys a mother card and she doesn't produce a fetus token when she's destroyed. Then we'll have a card called "Escaping Responsibility" which can only be activated if you have a mother card on your side of the field. Escaping Responsibility will return every monster on the field other than mother cards to the players' hands. Then we can have card that makes her instantly summon her monster, which is simply called "Pain Killers".

Now I bet you're asking yourselves "What possible advantage does this bring that makes it better than my xy-derps?", and I would say "Probably none, but it's not as stupid as xy-derps." So are you ready to give birth to a new type of Yu-Gi-Oh card?! I know I am!

"Planned Parenthood" (Continuous Spell Card): As long as this card is on the field, you may select one "Maternity Leave" from your Deck when a "Mother" monster you control is destroyed. Add it to your hand.

"Maternity Leave" (Trap Card): If a "Mother" card were to be destroyed this turn, you may remove it from play until your next Standby Phase instead.

"C-Section" (Equip Spell Card): This card may only be equipped to "Mother" cards. A monster equipped with this card gains 800 DEF.

"Waiting Room" (Continuous Trap Card): As long as this card is on the field, Fetus tokens are summoned during the End Phase of the turn, instead of the Battle Phase.

"Twins" (Equip Spell Card): This card may only be equipped to a "Mother" card. When a "Mother" monster that this card is equipped to is destroyed, Special Summon two Fetus tokens with 300 ATT / 300 DEF instead of one in face-up defense position.

"Hospital" (Field Spell Card): All "Mother" monsters gain 500 ATT / 500 DEF as long as this card is on the field.

"Octomom" (Level 8 Synchro Monster): 1 "Mother" Tuner + 1 or more Fetus Tokens. This card gains 1000 ATT / 1000 DEF for every Fetus token used to summon it.

The very idea repulses me. Though, Escaping Responsibility is a good mock on irresponsible mothers-I just hope such use ultimately ends as an auto-loss for the player, we can't be teaching players that irresponsibility is good.

But it seems the real issue here is, you have a chip on your shoulder about XYZs, yes?

Still don't have a computer since December of last year so that hasn't helped my wanting to come back without being able to play in the DN...

Almost caught up with ZeXal! Also, apparently Chaos Dragons won YCS Philadelphia. It was only a matter of time really with the deck's power. CD is basically the deck I showed off to VGM several months ago, shortly before Lightpulsar Dragon was released publicly. I couldn't beat it once because it was so fast and didn't care about banishment or bouncing.

It's okay. We'll get back to the ground eventually (hopefully). Granted, it's better than card games on motorcycles in space. Looking at you Yusei vs Antinomy/Z-ONE.
