So... how do I get this? I take it that I have to download a B/W ROM, but I'm lost after that. Help please?

I'm going to watch some of your stream, Kuno, so I can determine whether or not I want to download this... I was looking over the notes and it looks interesting, though I'm curious as to how he managed to fit all 649, legendaries included, into one region. That's... insanity.
On a side note, I've been considering doing a "Let's Play" series lately of something on account of the fact that a life is not something I'm in possession of at the moment, and would love to do a Pokemon one, but unfortunately I'd be afraid of having my "skills" judged by everyone, as I actually don't play Pokemon all that well (in other words, I'm not into IVs and EVs) |

Game can be beaten without paying them heed? Yes. Game can be beaten easily without paying them heed? Less so in each new generation. While I managed to beat the Elite 4 and Ghetsis without having to go back and grind, and while I even managed N and Ghetsis on the first try, many others weren't so lucky. I'm sure we've all heard the horror stories of "Oh man, Gen 5 E4 totally kicked my ass. Had to grind for like 10-20 levels on 2+ of my guys just to beat them." And why is this? Because they're beatable when you have equilevel and proper EVs and natures (as I did), but if you're equilevel and don't? Good fucking luck. Still beatable, yes, but not without insane amounts of Revives, potions, and general hax. I would agree with you though if all you're trying to tell him is, "Don't fret about IVs and EVs if they're going to get in between you and playing the goddamn game." Just play the game. You won't be missing out that badly if you ignore EV training during Story Mode. In fact, EV training during Story Mode is a bitch -- as I can personally attest to having done it in Pokémon Emerald and HeartGold. (Don't remember if I did it on Pearl or not. Tried to do it for a while on Black but then gave up somewhere around Gym 7 because it's really just that big of a hassle. My team was what you could call "quasi-EV trained" where like, for example, Krookadile had 40% Att for certain, 30% Speed for certain, and then 30% hodgepodge of any of the six.)

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was getting at.
*Wants to make this post not seem like a waste of space, but can't find anything else to say* EDIT: AGH, WHY DOESN'T IT LET ME ACCESS MY SAVE FILE ON OTHER COMPUTERS? >_<

I haven't been doing this much lately. Oops. It is fun but difficult. Especially those cheating asshole gym leaders.

Since there's been an surge of people wanting to play these games again, I thought I'd post this link over here. After all, I've already had to dig it out twice (three times if you could today) and I'd rather it be easier to get a hold of or to direct people towards.
Basically, if you go here (Youtube), you'll find a number of links in the description including ones that are full Blaze Black/Volt White downloads. This means, no patching, no digging around for various things you need for your patching. You can simply download, probably unzip, and then play... I would also recommend the Documents download as well, especially if you play on No$ or want to rebattle trainers and stuff. |

Anyone know how to get rid of the lag in No$Zoomer.
Also, how I have my No$Zoomer keep the AR codes for BB/VW every time I go online. And lastly... how I save my game?

You could try a different emulator like Desmume if no$ is giving you problems.
And you should be able to save your game normally. Though you can create states if that doesn't work. |

Geez, guys, download the documentation. Everything you need to know is included in that.
It's in the YT description. |

I always end up switching the controls around. I usually make X=A and Z=B with Return being the equivalent of Start/X (whichever brings up the menu).

It says "The save data could not be accessed, please turn the power off and reinsert the game card" when I try to run it.
Wat do And before everyone gets all pissy I checked the documentation. Nothin'. |

I doubt this will work but you could always try it:
1. Get a save file from somebody else. 2. Place it in your directory. 3. It works! But since you don't want to play their game ... 4. Start a new adventure. Perhaps your emulator+rom pairing is freaking out that there isn't a save file yet for the game and, rather than insta-create one, it just barks at you to take the cart out and put it back in, assuming this will fix everything. (lol)
