Ugh I was away visiting friends and I just got back and I haven't written anything yet and it's already 9pm on the first day.
Time to write.

It's the yearly visit!

I did my daily quota, and I'm unsure I'll do anything more over week days. French work, homework, drama and general procrastination prevent me. Weekends should be a bit of a blitz, however. We'll see.

Just got permission to work on this as an actual assignment in Writing class.
IT'S SO ON. ...I can't really go into details right now, but those that know me shouldn't be surprised to know my story has magic, blurry lines, and romance. |

I'm doing Movember instead because it feels like less effort.
Good luck all mind. |

I'm slightly behind (~6000 words and too tired to do any more today), but I'll hopefully have more time to work on it over the weekend.

Ah, so this is the part where everyone starts dropping out.
I would be among them if I hadn't checkmated myself into having to do it by getting it to be worth marks. :P |

I'm still writing, but the one-month deadline isn't best for my creativity. I want my work to be quite good, and I can't go at that speed and still be proud of my work. So still writing, probably just not for NaNoWriMo

You're kinda missing the point. For November, you've supposed to just wing it and not think at all about how good it is. Just speed and fun. Editing it to make it good is, in the words of some NaNoWriMoer, 'for December'. And if you don't make it, well, you tried, and hopefully you got pretty damn close. NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER DIE. |

If that's really the point, then screw it, I'm just going to write a collection of short stories.
Kind: But that isn't a novel. D: Screw it. If I'm going to write a novel, I want it to be my best personal effort. Same thing with short stories, but at least with short stories I think it's easier to write them well within a short time limit than it is to write the chapters of a novel.

I sent a copy of what I had written to my GrandMaster, and he loved it. I definitely have to take time on it now. I have to do my research well and keep impressing him. It's like an extended lesson I do a mix of classroom time and studying abroad. I love it, anyway.
Plus, I have alcohol right now. Alcohol > NaNoWriMo |

I'm only slightly behind schedule on this thing, much to my own astonishment. I'm at 16,000 words, should really be at about 18-19k. Must... catch... up.

*Finally finds the thread that Daisy mentioned*
I was late starting, late here and currently, I'm still behind on words... But at least I'm constant. That said, I have covered nearly 24k words in 8 days so far (hooray for not working) and Daisy is kindly proof-reading and name suggesting for me. If you want to find me, I use the same name in almost every place (so I'm not hard to find, lol) and I've got a synopsis and excerpt up on my profile. So if you want to know what I'm writing, you can look me up and read it there. With all that said, I do look forward to meeting the average and not having to type excessive amounts to stay on track (is currently told he'll finish on the 4th of December). Although, that may slow down the chapters somewhat, but they do seem to be getting much longer as I go along. Now, I must vanish as I still have 2,666-ish words to write before I can take a break. |

I'm just going to leave this here for anyone who needs a little motivation. Who doesn't like kittens?

So, I'm so damn close to being able to verify my work that I might just do it today (keep an eye on my sig people). Also, it's been so quiet in here these last couple of weeks apart from Hana trying to encourage people with kittens (it didn't work with me, we have 3 cats). So, I was wondering how people are doing in these last few days?
As I mentioned, I'm almost done and I'm aware that Handy still has a long way to go (I ask him every time I see him in a stream). I'm looking forward to finishing my 50k, but have no idea if I'll get round to finishing my story afterwards. I'm honestly, only coming up to what could be the half way point in the adventure, but that doesn't mean that it'd be the half way point in the story. I know I have a few things that I want to add on in the unwritten sections that weren't in my original idea so, who knows what I'll do later... But right now, I guess I'd better get back to beating up a giant, mutated bat. |

So I've literally just past the 40k mark.
Tomorrow will be hectic.
