Answer to b, the flotilla nonsense was an amazing bit of political theatre.

Remain has been leading in polls for most of the run-up to the vote, right? It's only been recently that Leave has been pulling even or occasionally ahead.

Errrrr. Sure. It really depends on what you're looking at but at present the direction of travel for polls is towards a tight Remain victory. Depends on things like turnout.

Betting odds are wildly in favour of Remain and have been for the entire time. Polls of what people think will happen (regardless of how they plan to vote) also point to Remain quite strongly.

I would just like to poke my head in and say that the recent Remain propaganda that has flown through my letterbox is beyond shameful. I've been debating with the rest of my family about the benefits of the EU, and this piece of shit comes through. Thanks, guys, I really needed a weak campaign to undermine me in this household. ;-; Personally, I've been more impressed with how Leave have advertised round here the past couple of days. Actually trying to acknowledge the need for some kind of pro-Leave argument. Amazing, considering Farage's inability to debate at all.

Still voting Remain; safer, doesn't leave us as a fucking tiny and useless island with no real draw at all... I'd give some economic argument if I had the knowledge, but I don't do useful maths like that.

Somewhat fortunately I very much did, which means I was in a good position to pull everyone together and hold a fucking badass after party.

I am so incredibly drunk.

This is what proper preparation looks like, the ability to get absolutely wasted at a moment's notice.

I forget if it was already mentioned around UPN but did anyone see the Google trends thing about "What is the EU?" spiking in Google searches in the UK immediately following the Brexit vote?

If there's one thing Lib Dems do well, it's organise kick-arse after-parties following crushing defeats. Lots of very sad people last night but many of them fired up to go and campaign with their respective political parties.

Also, I drank do much Scotch last night I think I might have brane damage.

Which made the email I received from Hillary Clinton saying "omg Britain has voted to leave, we mustn't let ignorance rule our politics like then, please give me $1" extra hilarious.

So how completely incorrect is this reddit comment? Because it sounds far too good to be true.

It is technically and legally 100% accurate. The referendum is not binding.

At this point trying to establish whether it's practically feasible is like reading tea leaves. The entire political scene is in chaos. Noone really knows what will happen.

My money is on an election.

Was just reading through the news and saw this- how likely is it that there's a do over?

Essentially the same as the previous post. It is possible and legal. Not necessarily feasible.
