Ray Bradbury passed away

CNN, BBC

Much preferred his short fiction (like his Martian Chronicles and other writings he set on the red planet) to his longer fare like Fahrenheit 451, but there's no denying what an impact this man has had on science fiction the world over. And did you know he wrote the screenplay to the 1960s Gregory Peck cinematic adaptation of Moby Dick? I did not know that. And that was a great adaptation too.

Requiescat in pace, Mr. Bradbury.

Sad to hear. Really liked his stories but always thought he was kind of a shitty writer style-wise.
