She's an interesting case. Musically, I think she's pretty good, but stale. As far as music videos go, she only knows how to do like 3 different dance moves, which makes her videos a pain to watch.
This reminds me of The Guardian, a Flash video on Newgrounds that uses her music. |

Been listening to some dubstep that actually goes back to its roots. None of this 'DUBSTEP GOES WUB WUB WUB' crap. Zeds Dead, Benga, and Radikal Guru are some prime examples, and Goth Trad less so.
Also some more Liquid and Jungle. RJ Productions are at the top of that list right now. |

Decided to listen to 30 Seconds to Mars "This Is War" for the first time the other day, for no real reason, start to finish.
Although Jared Leto is one of those singers who sounds the same in every song (in a meh way), the album itself is fairly diverse in styles (for a new prog band), aside from the background choir in several of them. This is my favorite song on the album, and it's a remix of my other favorite song . Other standouts include This is War, Hurricane, Closer to the Edge, Search and Destroy, Equinox (which includes a bit of cult-like chanting), and the incredibly dark (and NSFW) Stranger in a Strange Land. The early 1990s called. They want their sign back. (What a bizarre music video. If this is somehow your first time ever hearing this song, I'd recommend enjoying it without watching the video. ^^; )
Oh ... oh God. X_x I forgot that this group even existed. So, I was scrolling down looking at the Youtube videos which were linked to the one I just showed you ... and they had this hellspawn from my middle school years. I have to admit ... as a grown man who isn't being subjected to this song every 15 minutes by teenyboppers in his classes, it's a pretty fun, cute song. But then I take one look at the music video and GOOD LORD ARE THOSE CHILDREN UGLY. (Okay, so maybe it's mostly the oldest one. But the other two aren't exactly Brad Pitt either.) Still, I had completely forgotten that these boys even existed. That we had had our own Jonas Brothers phenomenon in the 1990s. Totally, totally forgot. I wonder why. I wonder what Meat Loaf is up to these days. EDIT: WHAT THE HELL!? Michael Bay directed that music video? (L O L @ how he shamelessly plugs himself at the very end.)

I think I may have listened to the chorus to this song over 50 times now in the last 24 hours. Kajiura Yuki fan for life? ^^; If you want to watch the anime opening that this song goes with, here you go. (Spoiler warning: spoilers not so much for this series itself but rather for the series that it's a prequel to, Fate/stay night.)
Anyway, way. Good stuff. *goes off and watches it again for the 51st time*

A little something from Touhou.
Here's the piano rendition, which I'm currently playing as a duet with a friend. It's slightly incorrect, but a few rewrites later and it's raring to go.

On my second run through, imo, the best western animation series of all time. Can't stop listening to the soundtrack between episodes.
