I still get this a lot. Whenever I encounter terrible teammates, negative teammates or when I'm simply fucking up a lot, I just close down the game and don't play for the rest of the day, and pick it up again the next day. Helps me not have to deal with dickheads the whole time and I get to stay calm about the game and not turn into one myself.

Almost level 30 now, although most of my games I'm paired with Silver 3's and still carrying the crap out of them. Playing Akali taught me how to 'not' play like a pussy and kill people whenever the opportunity arises.

If there's one thing I CAN'T STAND it's games where you carry the team like a complete baller and then afterwards don't get a single point of Honor.

Honour's not supposed to be about how hard you carry the game though, it's about friendliness and good communication. I've honoured people who had bad games as long as they were pleasant to play with.

Honour is 100% pointless anyway, so don't take it personally if some people don't even bother to give it out. It was a lame attempt by Riot at reducing the notorious asshole tendencies of the LoL player base, and it didn't work. Another thing: if you leave the post game lobby before others, sometimes the message that you received honour won't come up, even though you did.

NA Playoffs are on! CLG vs TSM has already passed, now is Dignitas vs Curse. Can't wait to see who's going up against Vulcan and Cloud 9 tomorrow!

TSM are a step closer to going to worlds. CLG played quite badly throughout, trying to make plays out of nothing and having it bite them in the arse in the end. Gave up objectives in order to farm, giving them less map presence and ability to make plays, but tried to anyway. Nien was pretty huge with the lane Nasus, but thats all they had going for them.

All three of these matches were quite back and forth throughout. There were times where Dignitas took the early game, but got aced in teamfights, and vice versa. However, Dignitas managed to stay on top throughout the second and third games. They lost the first game to Curse's new Karthus/Kassadin double AP composition, but Dignitas managed to claw it back in the next two games, Crumbzz especially playing well causing all sorts of Early game problems for Curse with his Lee Sin. Curse also allowed Dignitas to take Zac twice in a row, who's disruption power really screwed them over when it cane to (some) teamfights. Well fought from Dignitas, but we'll see how they play up against Cloud 9 today.

I feel like I should tell you guys, I moved from NA to LAN, mostly due to lag and connection issues. Having played video games In English all my life, I quickly changed it to English. I kinda miss NA and having all game modes available, LAN being BETA and whatnot.

I've become a huge C9 fan over the course of the season just because of how damn nice and humble they are, always saying how they play for fun and such... I friggin' love those guys. Would love to see them win Worlds!

All of this. I think Cloud 9 are the kind of team that play better when they're having fun, and they have more fun when they go up against more challenging opponents. I think they'll have a really good chance against the Koreans because of this. Can't wait to see them clash! They have a good shot of getting to the finals at least. I'd be rooting for EG but unfortunately they got 4th in Europe, so I dunno if I'm going to root for fNatic, Gambit or Cloud 9.

Cloud 9 vs Gambit would be incredible though. Meteos vs Diamond? Holy crap.

Meteos would trash Diamond. No question. (Would still be a superb battle to watch though).

Also, I really do not like Diamond at all. He comes off as an asshole.

Oh I dunno about that. Diamond is one of the best junglers in the world mechanically, and has been for some amount of time. Meteos has been playing the game for a while but he's only just come up as a top-class jungler. I honestly think in a 1 on 1 fight based on pure skill, Diamond would destroy Meteos.

Diamond isn't an asshole at all :s he's a really humble and nice guy. In fact all of Gambit are really nice guys, but they get really down from losing games. You'd expect it though, considering they took the 3rd/4th place at worlds in Season 2, and didn't really have a very strong split.

I can tell you the matchups I'm really looking forward to if they happen:

Meteos vs Diamond - Jungle
Imp & Mata vs Sneaky & Lemonnation - Bot
Mancloud vs Faker (if SK Telecom get through to worlds, which they will because they're gonna win it) - Mid
SOAz vs Balls - Top
xPeke vs SSong - Mid

I C9 are the only properly good team in NA though. EU teams made a lot of mistakes during the split, but their super week was incredible, and the playoffs even better. So basically I think its like: C9 > EU Teams > NA Teams.

OMG begs to differ. Day 1 Group A has been rather revealing about a lot of stuff, mostly about how outdated TSM is, and how China and Korea are a notch above the rest of the world as far as LoL is concerned. Also, Faker's performance today on Gragas. He IS a God.

I recon SKT will pull it back. They've never played out of the country before so I think they struggled against OMG because they're not used to their playstyle.

In other news: Siv HD, a popular twitch streamer, raised over $100,000 dollars for 'Save the Children'. I am so happy that somebody stands out in the LoL community like this, considering how much shit the community gets.

Don't forget about Royal Club, who actually beat Oh My God in the LPL finals.

I feel like OMG is a more complete team than RC though, because RC relies too much on Uzi (possibly the best AD carry in the world), and gimmicky Fizz snowballs. I watched some of the LPL games, and RC won some of the games because they got lucky and wiped them out in level 1 teamfights and snowballed from there. I literally bet my money on OMG winning the tournament because they're underrated as hell compared to SKT1, who everybody already knows is great.
