HD-DVD DRM encryption key leaked on Digg.com, chaos ensues!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digg#HD-DV ... ontroversy
(check out the references as well) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6615047.stm I'm feeling pretty awesome right now. I'm a huge Digg user (with 5 front page stories and counting), and yesterday one of the biggest things happened. Apparently someone leaked the HD-DVD DRM encryption key on the site and it made front page news. It was soon deleted due to Digg admins recieving a cease and desist letter. Soon after, many users (who love linux, apple, nintendo, hate bush, bash the MPAA, and love piracy, just to give you an idea of the group of people we're talking about here) began revolting against the admins due to the censorship and a flood of stories hit front page, all of which contained the code. "As quickly as stories relating to the issue were removed, they were re-submitted in their thousands, in an act described by one user as a "21st Century revolt"." This led to the ever so popular Digg creator, Kevin Rose, to complying and posting the code in a story title ON THE FRONT PAGE (http://digg.com/tech_news/Digg_This_09_ ... 56_88_c0_4), saying this: "...now, after seeing hundreds of stories and reading thousands of comments, you Γ’β¬β’ve made it clear. YouΓ’β¬β’d rather see Digg go down fighting than bow down to a bigger company. We hear you, and effective immediately we wonΓ’β¬β’t delete stories or comments containing the code and will deal with whatever the consequences might be." someone else described the whole thing as a "digital boston tea party". I don't know about you, but this whole thing is pretty sweet and shows you just how powerful we the people really can be...and the power of a ton of uber geeks altogether. revolting against the industry FTW edit: turns out the story has made fox news, cnn news, usa today, and more! http://news.google.com/nwshp?oe=UTF-8&t ... 1619&hl=en it's also the top story on google 'tech' section right now.

What's a IPV6? I'm feeling too lazy to google it, but I'm guessing it's something interesting.
