Feels good man.
Dogasu translated an interview with Rica Matsumoto on Ash after all these years, it's definitely worth a read: http://dogasu.bulbagarden.net/featur...matsumoto.html

I made this topic because of memes. The first post outlines that I was making fun of it for having lots of scantily clad summer girls. BBB and AK2 were watching it, but I didn't take the series seriously until the Brock/Misty cameo battle.
After watching it, SM021 was when I realized this series meant business. And as time has gone on, we've had those memorable standout episodes like the OS is famous for. I saw Ash winning the league early on. That's why I was confident enough to make the Pokemon League thread. The writing quality was so much higher in this series I could trust the writers to stick to their guns. In the games, "A boy from Kanto moves to Alola, completes the Island Challenge and becomes the very first Pokemon Champion". GameFreak was pandering to Gen 1 when they created "You", but coincidentally Ash fit all those qualities as well. But there were a lot more hints than just the game storyline: -SM100: Ash travels to the Ultra Ruin, a parallel version of Alola 10 years in the future, and meats his future self Dia. In the ruin there is a broken symbol of the Alola Pokemon League. -SM125: Ash travels back in time and mentors a 5-year old Kukui, inspiring him to become a Pokemon Master alongside founding his own League. -SM127: Five balloons coloured like the children are bunched together, but a red one breaks off from the group and floats up to Professor Kukui, foreshadowing that only Ash is the one who "reaches" him. -The Pokemon League is ten episodes, 4 longer than any other league, not including the exhibition battle at the end. Why go so long if Ash doesn't make it? -No OC dream crusher characters, everyone who made the league is an NPC from the games Lots of little things all pointed toward the same result. I'm definitely satisfied the wish came true.

Kalos doesn't have any legends on the poster either.

Eeveelution from Moon Stone?
The preview for next week's episode which will focus on Eevee's evolution journey shows Chloe with her dad and Eeevee with some characters of the day who are watching Clefairy that are dancing around Moon Stone.
Very likely this is gen 9 Eevee, as I have suggested. It will be interesting to see if this is correct and what a Moon Stone induced Eevee will look like. |

A new Eevelution would be cool. A new typing would be bad.
Just give a Dragon or Fighting type ya dolts.
