Maybe I have a knack for interceptions?! Are you sure my real name isn't Brett Favre?! The game was very good, with the Saints being very gutsy on the onside kick. Just goes to show who wanted it more. I mean the Colts didn't even want a perfect season much less a Super Bowl...meh Here's hoping the Vikings sign either Michael Vick or Tim Tebow before the Silver Interception's legs give out for good. I was never a fan of Favre, but my Vikings need a Super Bowl dangit! A history of fails...almost as bad as the Cubs, but at least we don't have hexs and curses on our team. |

Didn't you read Tarkenton cursing Favre to failure? That was really funny.

Hahaha, I did!
At the time I was thinking he was just jealous cause we had a real shot to win the Super Bowl... What does he want us to do? We'll bring him back into QB if he'll get us a championship. We're not picky. I'm sure you've seen our picks at QB. Everytime we've done well, we always have a 'past-the-prime' QB who wants one last shot at glory. Randall Cunningham anyone? Ah well, the only truely sad thing here is another 8 months before football kicks back up...till then...baseball/basketball? |

This was actually the first time since I started watching football that I made the wrong prediction.
Oh well. Quote:

American sports are far superior to your Canadian Stick Games. |

Minnesota's hockey team left to come to Texas and be successful. They acquired a new one, but it has not been very good at all so far. So Beaky cares not for Hockey.

Before Minnesota Wild came around, I did root for Dallas because they weren't that far removed from being the North Stars. Now the Wild have no one of significance as far as I am concerned, but when they start to become a better organization, I'll probably pay more attention. Why is it that all the good teams Minnesota once had, leave for other cities? LA Lakers, use to be the Minnesota Lakers (the 'Lakers' derived from Minnesota having over 10,000 lakes in the state) and won several championships. Dallas Stars, use to be the Minnesota North Stars (cause they're up north? not too much sense there, but the star translates well with Dallas since the Cowboys also use a star emblem) and won several championships before leaving. Maybe it's the cold? Hell that's why I don't live there now! |

Hockey > Football > Soccer >> Basketball >>>>>> Baseball when it comes to watchability. Good point, but at least the Wild are far from the pure shit that is Toronto, Edmonton, Carolina and Columbus

Also I think they left because they were afraid of developing Minny-sew-ton accents, ya?

who knows. but everyone knows that the Capitals are beasts in Hockey... but sadly, that's probaly the best you'll see from now until Football starts up again (...hates the fact that all of his remaining sport teams, sans the Capitals suck horribly.)

For me it's Baseball >>>>>> everything else. Although Basketball is particularly bad to watch, but it's reasonably fun to play. I just wish I were taller. :V

Maybe they'll lock him up with Plaxico Burress and they can reminisce about how hard they tried to screw up million dollar contracts because they wanted to carry guns around. Could a superstar athlete in his prime fail anymore than these jailbirds? Don't ask Michael Vick... :x |
