Well I dislike the whole poppy thing because we've corrupted it and inverted its meaning but yeah I'd quite like another flower Pokémon.

I've been thinking of an electric dragon type line that isn't legendary. If you could incorporate it somewhere, I'd be glad to get back to work on it.

Man I feel like I've used up my quota lol. All three starter lines, a pseudo legend, depends how your one fits in. Tell us more

Well it's probably going to end up a pseudo legend as most Dragon types do, so of there isn't room for it, then I won't force it.

Mehhh Hoenn can have two pseudos I feel like I can. There's no real reason for me to want Bug/Dragon other than it's a cool image in my mind of this big green spiky mother fucker.

I did say it was electric dragon though. It's not really a complete concept yet but it would be a three stage line. The first would be a quadruped, black, yellow stripes on it (not like Zebra style but still) and a small orb on its tail. Second stage would, in addition, have black wings, although not quite large enough to fly with yet, and a larger orb on its tail that also glows. The third stage would have larger wings and a large shining tail orb with its stripes now in lightning patterns.
Stats would probably look something like this for its final form: HP Base: Moderately high. Somewhere around...100 or so? Good, but not Blissey. Attack Base: Poor. Despite it's intimidating looks, this isn't a physical Pokémon. Probably hanging around 60 or even 55. Defense: Good. 105, likely, Special Attack: Above average. 130, likely. This is meant to be a special mon, clearly. Special Defense: It's not Umbreon, for sure, but Special defense is at least above average. 95, perhaps. Speed: It'll still lose a speed war to a Jolteon, but it's fast. Likely 110. Base Stat Total: Should be good at 600 now. Abilities: Intimidate or Static. Hidden Ability is probably, say, Volt Absorb. The thing is I've only gotten to drawing the first stage and the colored pencils I used are kaput. I'll do my best to get the next to forms drawn but I can't guarantee that they'll be good or colored.

Worth noting that psudo legends always end with a BST of 600, so you're going to need to bump that up if that's what you're going for.

Sweet. I'm totally going for a black/yellow striped badger with Electric/Dark but it's not like Gamefreak is shy about sharing colour palettes.

Myles that poke sounds like it wants levitate for same reasons as Flygon and the Jet Planes.

Yeah but I can really only justify it for the final stage (it's the only one that can fly!) and I don't want to give it something really great and then swap it for Levitate.
Of course there is always Magnet rise.

Suggestions!
Of course all these suggestions can be played around with but those are what came to mind when I read that it's based off of England, Scotland, and Wales. I hope I contributed!

Hello hello, I've yet to write up the GL plans that we hashed out an outline of on Skype last night and that I then thought about a bit on my walk home but broadly it's likely going to be (in vague order of lattitude, ascending):
Cornwall: Water (Pirates, female GL, possibly doubles) London: Dark (Abandoned Tube Station, elderly white male GL), Steel (undefined other than young, successful and female) Midlands: Electric (Black male GL, Pachirisu everywhere) Northern England: Ground (undefined) Wales: Fire (elderly Indian female GL, also town's doctor) Southern Scotland: Grass (elderly female GL) Northern Scotland: Fighting (huge male Celtic bastard, gratuitously ginger) With an E4 that is totally undefined demographically but will probably be in Parliament and the types are Fairy, Normal, Ghost and Flying with a Dragon Champion. (no positive discrimination here no sir) As for your Pogeys, there's an Ice/Fighting Frost Giant line in the works, I'm sort of envisioning it a little like a Conkeldurr aesthetically, I really like your cave bear idea and might use it as my Aerodactyl as I have definite plans for Grass Ticera and pure Rock raptor. And I think I'm going to actually have three lions as my legend trio lol. Thanks, though, if you think your ideas are better let's do it! |

Well to be quite honest I couldn't quite decide the final GL spot other than knowing it was going to be a high powered business woman and knew that I wanted Fairy, Normal and Flying and Dragon (c) in the E4. In the end I just didn't really fancy a Ghost GL.

With bonus points if you can find an Ice-type primate around Sheffield.

Yeah so far all I have set in stone for Ice is Frost Giant and maybe some kind of marmot like deal, so I could swing a primate as long as it's a new slant. While we do have Slaking, Truant can suck my ridges, so I think a gorilla is the way to go (also found in Essex).
Also I was thinking of an Indian Elephant, Water/Fire, with a signature move called Byzantine Fire. |

Mega Typhlosion is already a thing do I need to Mega Pyroar? I suppose it does suck even more than Typhlosion.

Yeah make it a gorilla with Yeti elements. Thick fur, etc.
Bonus points for it being able to 'save' itself a la Discworld. |

Oh man I didn't even think of that.
I'm thinking my Rock/Fighting bridge trolls can be Discworldy as well. |

I need to go through and check what types I've covered, want to make sure I have at least two lines per type and some definitely have more than that. I have no idea about Ghosts other than some werewolves.

Yeah as soon as I typed Werewolves I decided it would be terrible so that wins. I basically wanted a quadrupedal Ghost and hadn't quite figured on the form. Thanks.
Someone suggested a floating book. I generally dislike item Pokémon but maybe that could work. |
