Stark began his life as a trainer later than most people, having been undecided with what he wanted to do with his life until he was nearly 20 years old. He has found a natural affinity toward Fire and Flying pokemon in particular and while looking for a balanced team he has found himself filling his team with an abundance of these two types.
He tends to normally wear a long sleeve black shirt with black jeans with a brown belt and black biker boots under a long red coat. However, he also carries a long sleeved green shirt, a white T-shirt, blue jeans, brown hiking boots, and a brown leather jacket in his pack for different environments and change of clothing. His blond hair runs to about the middle of his back and is generally pulled back into a ponytail with a few of the bangs generally hanging down in his face or off to the sides depending on when the last time he pulled his hair back was.

Mediville
Stark began his journey in the countryside surrounding Mediville with Cyndaquil by his side. It was here that he met a young girl named Bella who had found herself chasing her Hoppip as it was caught up in a gust of wind. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem, but the helpless Hoppip soon found itself floating into a Spearow's territory. Seeing the scene unfold before him, Stark took the initiative and sent Cyndaquil into his first battle with the Spearow. After a hard fought battle, Cyndaquil managed to defeat Spearow with a combination of guile and physical power. During the fight Stark found himself admiring the the little bird's determination which led to his decision to capture the Spearow.

Pokémon Info: Cyndaquil was Stark's first pokemon. The two of them had been together for some time before Stark decided to become a pokemon trainer and begin his journey. While relatively inexperienced in battle, Cyndaquil has more than proven that he can hold his own in a fight. Unfortunately, due to his lack of training, Cyndaquil has yet to master his fire techniques. This obstacle is one Stark plans to address as they continue their adventure together.

During their time aboard the SS Tidal Cyndaquil and Stark became even closer friends as they competed in a number of contests. It wasn't until Buizel ransacked Stark's backpack that Cyndaquil had ever done anything Stark disapproved of. By getting into Stark's collection of Rare Candies Cyndaquil found himself evolving until he eventually became Typhlosion.

While journeying in Talas, Stark encountered a particularly malevolent Gengar who was using ghastlys to possess people and their pokemon. After Luxray and Floatzel failed to bring down the specter, Stark called upon Typhlosion who finished off the weakened Gengar by using a Flash Cannon attack of light and freed the people and pokemon that had been possessed.

Typhlosion has become Stark's main powerhouse pokemon and has been instrumental in the defeat of a number of powerful foes including a dangerous Gengar who along with his minions had taken over a number of humans and pokemon by possessing them.

Pokémon Info: Spearow was captured in the farmlands of Mediville after having attacked a young girl named Bella and her wayward Hoppip for entering his territroy. Having been in the area at the time Stark and Cyndaquil battled Spearow and eventually captured him after a difficult battle. Spearow still harbors resentment towards Cyndaquil and himself for losing the battle. However, since that time he has found a place with Stark as a valuable team member. His only faults seem to be his over determination to succeed and the depression that follows if he fails to meet his expectations. His independent attitude and strong will has led to a lack of obeying Stark when not in battle.

While he has had his ups and downs in battle having defeated a number of powerful bug pokemon on the Laguna penninsula, Spearow has faced defeat at the hands of powerful pokemon such as Dragonites. Each battle has left the small bird more determined than ever to overcome odds against him and prove that the little guy can win given the opportunity.

Spearow has become a strong and reliable pokemon in his own right. Used both as a scout and a battler, this bird has proven time and again to be someone Stark can count on in a pinch. Having been barely eliminated in the first round of the Pokeringer contest, Spearow has the drive to keep bettering himself and defeat any and all opponents he comes across.


"Lucy" Houndour

Pokémon Info: Houndour is a puppy that Stark received from the Egg House. She is loyal to a fault and has a feisty attitude when given attention as she likes to play with her trainer in a number of simple games like fetch and tug of war. When not playing with her trainer she is rather quiet and self reliant. Preferring to lie down near her trainer or explore her surroundings. As it is, this little puppy has found a warm and loving place with her trainer in which to grow up.

Houndour has proven herself to be far more powerful than expected upon first glance. Having easily defeated a Raticate of superior experience, she was possessed by ghosts and turned against Stark. The battle to reclaim her was difficult as she held her own against both Luxray and Floatzel who were significantly more experienced than she was. Eventually, she was freed and has returned to her place at Stark's side.

Pokémon Info: Buizel was found on the mysterious island of Excelsior when Stark came upon him bullying a group of fish by using them for target practice. When Stark tried to warn him about the dangers of picking on those weaker than him, Buizel retaliated by spraying Stark with a Water Gun in the face. Not one to back down, Stark and Spearow proceeded to battle Buizel and eventually capture him. Buizel has now become a valuable and much needed member of the team.

During a cruise aboard the SS TIdal, Buizel took it upon himself to dig into Stark's backpack and start eating the rare candies found within. A number of other pokemon on Stark's team joined in and before the trainer could do anything his pokemon began to evolve. Buizel himself becoming Floatzel. In his evolved form Floatzel has become a powerful water type who consistently proves his worth. His speed coupled with his strong water attacks have made him an invaluable resource when it comes to battles. While he has mellowed out a little since his evolution, Floatzel still retains a mischievous streak that will often show itself during dull moments. More Coming Soon...

Pokémon Info: Shinx was born from an egg Stark received from the Egg House. From the very beginning she had an attitude of doing things quickly and without thinking. She also has a bit of a spoiled brat syndrome brought about from Stark's natural tendency to raise his pokémon with love and affection rather than tough love and discipline. This has given Shinx the ability to get her way even when she doesn't deserve it.

Having been one of the pokemon who got into Stark's candy stash on the SS Tidal and evolving into Luxray, this lioness has become one of Stark's most trusted battlers. Having faced a number of challenges against the odds. She has proven herself to be the den mother of the team taking a personal interest in making sure the other pokemon stay in line. Not an easy task when dealing with Floatzel. She herself has been involved in a number of competitions and come out of them quite well.

Pokémon Info: Treecko was obtained during a special birthday event in the land of Fizzy Bubbles. He is one of what Stark calls his twins, the other being Charmander, since they were born on the same day and are both lizard types. Treecko is still very young and while his training seems to be coming along very well, the connection between he and Stark is still in it's early stages.

Treecko gained some harsh training in the Cloud Garden during a battle with a fascist military leader. Having barely won the fight and literally saved Stark's life the pokemon evolved into Grovyle sensing even greater danger on the horizon. This danger soon passed and Grovyle has found himself slowly training and learning under Stark's teaching.

Pokémon Info: Torchic was obtained when Stark saw him in the Adoption Center. At first Stark was hesitant to adopt the little guy, but as time when on, he found that he just couldn't resist and Torchic soon became a valued member of the team.

Torchic has spent much of his time privately training with Stark. Learning moves thought lost to the ages this pokemon figures to become one of the powerhouses on Stark's team. More Coming Soon...

* Voodoo Bugaloo (Psychic)
When used the Pokemon summons out a psychicly charged voodoo doll image (Energy usage equal to a confusion), which then dangles in front of them for 10 seconds, in which time the Pokemon can prod with one psychic pin to paralyse the opponent in place for the duration of the 10 seconds, while paralysed, the opponent cannot use any moves other than moves that use the eyes. Voodoo Bugaloo is only usable once per battle.

Pokémon Info: Eevee was obtained in a trade in which he sent his Feebas from the SS Tidal cruise to Sneasel12. Considering Eevee was the first pokemon Stark had wanted, she has been completely babied and spoiled from the start. Oddly enough this affection has not made her the spoiled brat one might think it would. She has actually become quite fun when she isn't being serious. More Coming Soon...
