Building off of that, 2 minimum, but perhaps with extra depending on how many posts need to be reviewed. To throw out another baseline, perhaps another 2 FC per 10 posts of at least 250 words involved?

Maybe 2 per case with another 1 per post over 500 words? Might be too generous, though.

I'd be in support of this. Was going to suggest something similar.

Discussing amongst ourselves, we do like the 2 FC as a baseline. WE feel that the 2 additional FC per 10 posts is a little too harsh, while the additional 1 FC per 500 words is a little too soft. As such, we'd like the community to try and find a happy medium between the two of those things. We've been looking through MM's posts and this very much is based on just reading through his initial four claims.

I'd probably say +1 FC for every 1000 words reviewed? That being across the entire story rather than per post, so a 2573 word story across as many posts as it takes would yield 2FC extra. I think doing it on a per-post basis is rough when you have Marion and MM throwing out hefty text blocks on the regular, but equally you say 1 FC per 500 is too low a bar so...

Yeah going by word total rather than post is best, now that I think of it. I think I wound up going towards a benchmark of 2 FC per ~2500 since the average length Ao3 chapter I read is about that long, and any given fic chapter is something of a sit-down activity. So 1 FC bonus per 1000 like Iron suggests isn't a bad shout IMO.

Agreeing with the above. +1 for every 1000 words over the entire set of posts might be the better idea.
