Strawberry daiquiris are my favourite. *hands over testosterone card*
No, seriously, I favour cocktails, especially daiquiris, Sex on the Beach and Black Russians. There are others, but those are the first that come to mind for me. Vodka is not my friend. Vodka gets me drunk faster than anything else, and generally makes for my hangovers. The only time I've ever thrown up because of drink was down to vodka. Which is weird, because I can handle a lot of other drinks, including tequila. Beer really isn't my thing, apart from Guinness (if I didn't, I'd have to hand over my Irishness card) and Blue Moon. Cider's alright though, love a nice bottle of Magners on a hot day (few and far between here, but whatever). |

You sayin' I like dudes?

I had a jack and a coke tonight. My stomach is miserable.
But my patron margaritas were pretty fantastic. |

Whiskey and Coke is such a weird mix, though. I have no idea how it became popular in Britain.

Jack and Coke is great though. I prefer Rum and coke though.
I'm not sure if every pub does this, but The Goose in Romford does this Honey, Rum and Coke thing, which is probably one of my favourite drinks. |

When drunk, I mostly just get affectionate and cuddly, although I already am notably so even sober. I get a bit louder, not meaning to. I can still hold a conversation quite well and intelligently, but my ADD and short attention span act up just a it more than usual.
I cannot drink liquor straight-up. I think it is because my taste buds are quite sensitive to strong flavours, which helps with cooking, but not so much with shots. And then there's acid reflux, which can act up if I do tequila, sometimes. I make a fun drink with Vodka/Rum, Ginger Ale, and a Jolly Rancher or two. I like it. Markus loves Bloody Marys, not spicy, and a mint julep-like drink with Ginger Ale. I like margaritas and make a mean mojito. The other weekend, I was challenged to make a good drink with Juicy Fruit gum. I muddled it the best I could with some fine sugar, used some gin, ice, and ginger ale. It was pretty damn good. |

Mmmmmm. Yesterday began with Magners, led to this incredible red wine that I bought for someone's housewarming, then moved through gin, Dutch beer, another red and more gin.
And then this morning I got a Raspberry Collins. Oh God. |

Sobieski expresso vodka is $6 for a fifth at the local liquor stoe (1/2 off clearance). It mixes well with iced coffee.
EDIT: Vodka makes Kairne affectionate and cuddly. Like a teddy bear, only with a real chance of being mauled. Last edited by Slash; 09-27-2013 at 01:49 AM. |
