A couple questions regarding Dynamic Duo:
1) Is Type Effectiveness calculated individually, or based entirely off the original target? 2) Is the damage considered to be from an indirect source for the untargetted pokemon? |

If a Pokémon is housed in a Luxury Ball and you change its Luxury Ball to another Pokéball, does the Pokémon lose Bond? If that's the case, does it lose the privileges that come with certain Bond thresholds?

No, the Bond gained is a one time event, just like using a Gummi

I just noticed that the information given in the Move Tutor and Bonding Retreat is a little inconsistent. The former says that Advanced Moves can only be learned at 50 Bond, but the latter says that AMs can be learned at 40 Bond. Which source is correct?

I know that we bold our Pokémon's attacks, but what do we do to our Abilities? I've seen people underline, italicize, and just plain bold them. Is there any one way that is the "correct" way to show that an Ability is taking effect?

As far as I'm aware, it's up to personal preference. I've always underlined them, personally, and I've never been told that I had to do it a different way. *shrug*

Also, when breeding, does the offspring inherit Egg Moves from both parents, or just the father? In the games, the offspring inherits Egg Moves from both parents, but I was a little unsure if that applies to Fizzy Bubbles, since newly-bred Pokémon inherit only the father's Egg Moves prior to Generation VI.

From what I've seen, Egg moves are inherited from whichever parent doesn't determine the species in FB. When my Druddigon hatched, for example, it was at the same time as his sister- both of them have the same father, but my Druddigon's mother is my Ivysaur, while the one GS kept, her mother is GS's Salamence (obviously, an Old Spice Incense was at work here). My Druddigon didn't hatch with any Egg moves, while his sister hatched with Fire Fang and Thunder Fang.

Because movesets are massive in FB and would lead to a large chance to pass along a ton of EMs, we decided it was fairer to keep it under the old mechanics of the non-species parent as MM said (Father under normal circumstances, Mother if Old Spice is used, or if Ditto is involved, whatever the other Pokemon has).

If a Pokémon that a Trainer doesn't want hatches from an Enigma Egg, and the Trainer puts it up for trade without picking it up, but nobody offers, where does the Pokémon go? Does it automatically get sent to the Adoption Center if no one makes an offer for a week? Often times, I noticed that such Pokémon seemingly disappear into thin air.

It's up to the person who hatched it to claim it, what they do with it is their decision and no one else's.

Say a Pokémon had a Bond level higher than 0. Is the Bond kept when the Pokémon is traded? In-game friendship resets when the Pokémon is traded.

Alright, after some discussion we have decided that during the effects of Guardian Terrain, Terrain Pulse will double in power and change in typing to the user's primary type.

This is a rather silly question, but have the evil team based Pokeballs been discontinued? Out of the few members whose profiles I've looked at, only two Pokemon (which seemed to have been obtained a while ago) were in a Rocket Ball, which made me wonder if they are no longer given out.
I'm asking because I want to make a post in the FB Development thread regarding balls for the gen 7+ evil teams/organizations but I wanted to make sure that evil team balls are still obtainable before posting it. Thanks.

They are, though they're typically given out during events and stuff like that

So I'm assuming that gen 7+ evil team balls are a no?

In theory they're possible, but we just haven't bothered creating them for any events over the past few years lol

Okay, some people were asking me about it, so I'll try to clear up any misunderstanding here:
Between the 2 Halloween events, the Raid Battle and the Art Contest/Maze, you are allowed to participate in both! Also, because several people who entered the art contest were asking to participate in the maze as well, I suppose it is fine to allow people to participate there as well. |

Do Escape Ropes work like they do in Generation 8, or do they work the way they do prior? Escape Ropes before Generation 8 were single-use and were consumed after use, while in Generation 8, they are a Key Item.
